The best pharmacy. They are nice efficent but mostly on top of your prescription request. Bob is the best and so are his assistants.

Gotta love a friendly, locally owned and run service business otherwise dominated by chain stores and mail order options. Bob is a knowledgeable pharmacist and both he and his staff are friendly and helpful. They always go the extra mile. One of the clerks waited outside for 5-10 minutes after closing time to give me my medication because I couldn't quite get there in time. Little touches like keeping your credit card on file so they can have everything ready to pick up and go when you arrive. Very skilled at getting refills called in from your doctor's office and even better at negotiating barriers thrown up by the insurance companies. I can assure you: the "conveniences" and potential savings offered by chain and mail order pharmacies vanish after the first problem arises, when Bob and his staff leap into action and solve for you.

Recently I transferred all my prescriptions and haven't had any issues in the last six months. They're super friendly and I like that they're family owned and operated. We should all support more local and community businesses like these ones. Transfer all your prescriptions to this one and stop going to those big chain pharmacies.

Great, Friendly, Family Oriented! Loving Neighbor Pharmacy with a great Staff that still has that good ole Customer Service. They know you by name, they call you at home, they handle Insurance issues, love this Pharmacy. I have been a customer of Ocean Park Pharmacy for 20+ years, I will never use any other Pharmacy...Bob is the BEST!!!

Great Pharmacy, quick, attentive, plenty of things to browse if you a couple of minutes. They have a lot of cool stuff!

The best independent pharmacy I’ve been to in many years. Excellent customer service, they actually answer the phone to confirm prescriptions or whatever else you might need. I drive about 45 mins to get my prescriptions from Ocean Park because they’re great. If you have concerns about a specific generic substitution, they will listen and address those needs as best possible, you won’t get that with Riteaid, Walgreens etc.
Even when busy, they’re super fast an set a new standard in customer service.

Only recently began using this local pharmacy after my regular pharmacy closed its doors after it was purchased by CVS. I wish I had come here sooner, as it is such a great pharmacy, with a wonderful staff & offers its medications at very reasonable prices. Bob the pharmacist is great; not only has he gone above & beyond when he has assisted me, but I have overheard him doing the same for other customers during other visits to the store. Leave those larger pharmacies behind for this smaller but better pharmacy and you won’t regret it.

I have a heart problem and have had issues in the past with drug interactions- so finding a pharmacy I can trust is vital. I’m so relieved to have found that in Ocean Park Pharmacy. It is one less thing to worry about when you know your pharmacy will make sure you have your life saving meds & watch out for any issues. Thank you OPP bc there should be more pharmacies like yours that care about your patients more than money.

OUTSTANDING pharmacy. I've been going here for many years. I can ALWAYS rely on owner, Bob, for all types of advice and assistance. Love his staff, especially Marisol. They go OVERBOARD to help. They make a so-so day FANTASTIC. They always helped my mother get prescriptions and delivery fast, and I'll NEVER forget that. Cute gift items. Prescriptions are a breeze to call in and pick up.

I've been going to this place for almost twenty years and it's the best. A small pharmacy with great personal attention from the staff, and usually almost no wait. Unlike big, impersonal chain pharmacies, the Ocean Park staff knows who you are after a few visits and the lines (if there are any) are always short! If you're in the neighborhood, this is the place to go.

I have been going to O.P. Pharmacy for about a year. I FLED from one of the Behemoth substandard Corporate Pharmacies - Von's Pharmacy on Lincoln in Santa Monica. There was ALWAYS a wait. The clerk was rude and dismissive. They gave me the wrong medicine once and had stapled the bag so fast I didn't get a chance to see it until I got home. I got a flu shot there and asked for THREE MONTHS (politely) for the flu shot specifications. The clerk was always abrupt and said "i sent it to the doctor." I finally got mad at how i was treated and asked for a private talk with ONE of the pharmacists. The clerk was overhearing and although I spoke quietly she suddenly LEAPED over to where I was trying to talk privately and she started yelling at me and then she all of a sudden said I was a "racist." For no reason at all. I have NEVER been called a racist before that ... and it was not only MEAN, it was defamatory. I happen to be white (whatever that means) -- and to tell the truth had never noticed what "color" she was/is. And the next time I went a new clerk asked for my ID --- (not for an rx) for no reason --- I had been going to Von's Pharm. since they started and had never been asked for ID. I refused to show ID. The "new" pharmacist with red/orange streaks in his hair took the clerk's side instead of resolving it. He didn't know me either. Anyway those are some of the reasons I resolved NEVER to patronize Von's Pharm or the market again. I did not trust them to give me the right medicines since they had given me wrong medicines before and the NEW streaked hair pharmacist was more concerned in pushing the customers around than in paying attention to his work.

I don't know how I found Ocean Park Pharmacy but I feel really lucky that I did. Bob is absolutely trustworthy and you know you are getting the correct prescription. And he ALWAYS shows you how to use new meds and answers any questions about them or about anything else such as a choice of an OTC medicine. I interact with Elayne and Juan who are both friendly and warm and I don't know how but they remember my name. Ocean Park Pharmacy has all kinds of gifts, cards, funky things and there is even a little kiosk inside where you can pay your utility bills. As long as this independent pharmacy exists I will go there for my medicines and OTC needs. Bob is not an employee like the pharmacists in the BIG CORPORATE pharmacies are. He is in business for himself and can therefore set the "tone" in the pharmacy - you can feel that the morale is really good in the store and that reflects the owner. GO THERE IF YOU CAN.

Over the years OPP has consistently provided excellent service. The people who work there are kind and care about what they do. They also have a great selection of greeting cards.

The family of Ocean Park Pharmacy complements the neighborhood beautifully...excellent in service, personability and truly caring for their customers, knowing most by their first names.

This is my first time to get a prescription. As an international student, I am very unfamiliar with getting a prescription and worry about difficulties. But when I came here, the staff of the prescription window made me feel very friendly and patient, and the whole process was very fast. Thank her! It gave me the best experience.

Great pharmacy! The Pharmacist is very personable and will go over any questions on instructions/doses/etc you may have on your medicine without hesitation.

Best pharmacy, best staff, best consultations, best greeting cards, and there's even usually parking, which in SaMo is really saying something. I avoid CVS etc. like the plague. Go here.
