Salon 626

Carolann does AMAZING color and cut! She is absolute perfection and would recommend her to anyone! She actually does more male haircuts, but I've been going to her for over 15 years and she's amazing everytime!

I’ve been going to Kelly for over 5 years and have been so happy with the results. She is professional, talented and knowledgeable about hair. I always get compliments on my highlights. Even if I wait too long between appointments they grow out naturally. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a quality hairdresser in Santa Monica. Additionally, Salon 626 is a friendly and welcoming environment and I always have a lovely experience there.

I had Carol Ann and she did a wonderful job! I have very long hair and am terrified of haircuts. She totally understood and did exactly as I asked and walked me through her ideas. She didn’t take off more than we discussed/ what I said I wanted. Now my hair is feeling great and healthy! She is also very personable and friendly. 100% recommend her and the salon!

I was an out-of-town visitor due a family emergency. I haven’t had my hair cut since the end of February due to COVID-19 closure in PA. I saw this salon below my son’s apartment. I checked reviews and everything looked great. Greg was my stylist and did an awesome job on the color and the cut. I have very straight& fine hair and the blowout looked great. I plan on going to Greg the next time I come to visit my son in Santa Monica.

I have been seeing Carol Ann for 9+ years and she never disappoints! I seem to change my mind on what color I want my hair to be every other year (light brown, dark brown, dark blonde, light blonde, black, etc) Carol Ann has expertly transitioned my hair every time. My cut varies as well and I always leave loving my new look. I’m itching for a new look and can’t wait to get back in there!

FYI Salon 626 is a boutique salon housed in a building (Phoenix Salons) that also has other boutique salons within the building. If there is no one at the building’s front desk to provide directions, then my tip is to walk in and keep to the right when going down the hallway. It’s not hard to find, but if you are not familiar with Phoenix Salons set up then I could see how it might be confusing at first.

Enjoy!! The rest of the crew that works there is super fun to chat with too. Greg and Rory have been there from the beginning so I am familiar with those two friendly faces :)

I have had Jonathon as my stylist at Salon 626 for over 6 years. I am now 76 years old. He is the best stylist I've been to in my entire life. And an excellent gourmet cook - ask him about his adventures in cooking.

Scott is beyond amazing. I constantly dye my hair and I have been to many terrible stylists, but he is phenomal. He puts so much care and time into your hair that others are too lazy to do.

Really enjoyed my experience at Salon 626. I needed a miracle on a late Sunday afternoon, and they were so accommodating. On top of that, so welcoming and warm. I’ll be back for sure!

Scott is a dream and gave me the best haircut I’ve EVER had!! 10/10 recommend!!
