The food is on the pricey side - but the 5-star experience makes it justified. Food, ambiance, and service were top notch.

The restaurant is unique and flooded with wine bottles all over the walls. What a fantastic collection.

Highly recommend the spicy salami pizza and the truffle brie! I would love to come back and experience the rest of the menu

Amazing atmosphere with tall wine walls. Heard a lot of people take their dates here. Pasta was amazing with its complex sauce. Efficient good service. Staff. Walking distance from Bungalow

While not exactly the same as the BH location, SM is still as beautiful and true to the Wally's brand: upscale atmosphere, great wine, cheese and charcuterie, and always a fantastic food omage to the truffle. Highly recommend the truffle lentil dish, it's creamy and satisfying with a rich truffle finish. The tartare has a very deep flavor profile, and the octopus is very multilayered.
The blueberry and lemon tart for dessert is excellent.
Now our personal taste is an aperitif and a partiality for sweeter wines and ports, of which they have a decent selection.
Deeply knowledgeable staff, and the ambiance is a very seen and be seen vibe, but SM has a slightly more casual elegance to it's attractive clientele.

What a great place with wonderful service and one heck of a truffle pizza, a great grilled cheese, and amazing octopus! The drink options are endless and the wine list looks like a long novel!!!

Recently 3rd street promenade of Santa Monica had been a place locals avoid and tourists come to get disappointed. Most shops have disappeared and many favorite restaurants closed.
Reluctantly made the trip, just to confirm what I had thought, until walked in to Wallys. And now can't wait to come back. Food is amazing, and there's a vast choice of cheeses and charcuterie of your choices, that are then presented so elegantly and perfectly paired with fruits nuts etc. With isles and isles of wines from all around the world, you can't go wrong. But if needed, there's a wine expert who will help you choose. Not a wine person, no worries, they have a full bar. Cheers!

Had an amazing dinner date on a Monday night here. The first server we got seemed clueless about wine and directed all his attention to my husband (as if I wasn’t at the table) which I did not appreciate, but his shift ended and we then got a lovely Australian server who was amazing and made our fine dining experience 5 stars. The food was beautiful (truffle fries, burger and the seafood plater) and my husband loved going into the wine cellar with the sommelier for a close look at the vintages. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience with great food and amazing wine selection!

The service is excellent! From Monty the greeter at the door who gave us a tour of the store! Then came our server Damon, who made excellent suggestions for out cheese board! We had the crab salad and the brie baguet! It was all great! We enjoyed every bite from the first tonthe last!🙃🙃🙃

Unbelievable place. I was told it used to be book store (or library?) now it’s most amazing liquor store/restaurant/bar I ever seen. Wet dream of all drinkers, and not only. Definitely place to go back on next trip
to Santa Monica.

My favorite wine bar in SM.
Their burrata was the best burrata I’ve ever had. Cheese was perfect combination with Japanese tomato and 50 years old balsamic vinegar.
Huge wine selections and decent CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE PLATES.

Wallys has become my favorite place for Caviar. Service is always top notch they cater to your needs, and they are always willing to help with any questions you may have.

Great waygu burger. Beautiful atmosphere. Servers could have been a bit more attentive but it was pretty busy. Worth the cost for the burger, can't speak to the rest of the menu.

This place is beyond amazing, it is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. You can pretty much find any wine you want over the world. The food was super tasty, our server got us dinner dish even we are 10 mins passed after they changed their menu. Truffle pizza is a must! Octopus was super tasty! Highly recommended if you are in this neighborhood

If you're one of those folks who goes to Wally's and orders a cocktail...shame on you! Lol. J/k, but it IS an incredible WINE spot! Take the time to look through their extensive wine list, ask for recommendations if you need help, but you'll be rewarded by choosing a bottle, ordering some charcuterie, or entrées to match the wine, and enjoy it all with friends or family.

Great ambiance. The bar was crazy busy the Saturday evening we showed up, but I'm guessing a weeknight is the better time to snag an open bar seat and try a glass or two of some terrific wine.

This place very nice atmosphere with good food from affordable to pricey, but you get what you pay for amazing service with great selections of food and drinks. The manager Walter one most amazing people you will meet. I highly recommend this place. The service at Santa Monica better than Beverly hill location a bit more layback.

Love Wally’s Santa Monica! Parking (street or parking structures close) I met a friend (another Wine Blogger) here and we shared a bottle of the Lady A Rosé for Happy Hour. There are no HH specials btw. Menu starts at about $16 per glass of wine. They have an extensive menu that fits every price point. They are super customer friendly here.
This Rosé is @drinkladya (made from Chateau La Coste and label art by Damien Hirst). The staff is amazing here, especially Mario the bartender. They always have the best bites and charcuterie boards. *Fun Fact: there are 10,000 bottles on display at this location! Cheers 🥂

I just came for drinks with my friend and tried the spicy margarita and it was one of the best that I've had! I was very surprised since it's a wine shop. If you love margaritas (like me) it's a must try! I can't wait to go back for dinner.

Wally’s is honestly one of my favourite spots to go! They have incredible wines (I mean the list is incredible) and cocktails! Love the food selection they have! Love the grilled octopus, and burrata, all the pizzettas are amazing, and the truffle bolognese are a must!
