This hospital is amazing! I have never had a hospital or staff be so caring and flexible. We have a huge family and they allowed us to join our family member in slightly bigger numbers then two. They decorated her room for Christmas and made sure she comfortable. They made us a framed photo of her heart beat and key chains with her fingerprints. We will cherish these mementos for the rest of our lives. I want to thank Hana or nurse for being so caring and thoughtful. Thank you UCLA for everything you did.

I'm rating their cafeteria. For some reason, I have always loved institutional food. Don't ask me why, because even I don't know. Hospital food, in particular. That McDonald's jingle should really be about this cafeteria, because I'm lovin' it. This is my In-N-Out (I hate that franchise). The cafeteria is clean, the food is great, it's affordable, and I just like to sit and watch all the brainiac doctors in their white coats talking about medical jargon that I cannot possibly begin to understand. It makes me feel smart. I'm usually a drooling imbecile, but I feel like I came from Yale School of Medicine. So, thank you, UCLA Medical Center cafeteria, for making me feel like I lived up to my potential and didn't become the family disappointment.

Wonderful hospital!!! Good food in the ground level cafeteria, hospital staff are nice, the hospital is very clean.

I went in for a neurological observation. The in-patient food is great! The beds are very comfortable. The have a vast menu of food you can choose from. Everything from pasta, to salads, to a small serving of ice cream; below I added a photo of the Chicken Tika Masala I ordered several times.

The doctors and nurses are great. Everyone one is very kind and easy to talk to.

Note to everyone out there:
If you treat your nurses, doctors, everyone out there with kindness and respect, you’ll likely receive kindness and respect back and maybe even an extra can of sprite or two ice creams. :) Also, don’t just do this because you think you’ll get something from it, do it to because these people are there on their own accord to help you, they work LONG hours, have to deal with a lot of different “personalities” and people. Be kind, be respectful, be genuine.

Respect and kindness should be everywhere, not just hospitals, but everywhere!

I gave birth to my daughter here in early 2022 & will be giving birth here in early 2024. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for OB care. I live in Tarzana so the drive while in labor was not fun & I could have gone to a much closer hospital but I trust UCLA Westwood more than any other ER/OB department & can’t imagine having gone elsewhere. The labor & delivery nurses are compassionate, informative & kind. My Dr. Is Dr. Zapata but she wasn’t on call when I gave birth so I saw another Dr, so sorry I don’t remember her name, but she was amazing and I felt in very capable & caring hands. I recommend this hospital for anyone I know who’s pregnancy for maternal & postpartum care. I’m very surprised the rating isn’t higher as overall the doctors are wonderful, up to date, the nurses are very capable & always warm in my experience. Also, it’s such a well maintained campus with updated equipment & very clean overall.

Dr. Quinton Gopen and his team, Dr. Issac Yang and Dr. Jos'lyn Woodard and the Neurosurgery Team, the PACU and ICU nurses, the ancillary staff, the food service staff - indeed everyone at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center - I can say with absolute certainty that I made the right choice coming to UCLA for my surgery .... Everybody at this facility has exceeded my expectations. I am very grateful to everyone that has participated in my care. Thank you!

I’ve been a regular patient of several Specialists at UCLA Westwood campus for 3 years. Surgery included I’ve had great experiences here. Staff is polite, systems function well, humane environment. Having spent time in NYC medical institutions previously, UCLA has been a refreshing improvement in service. The ER is less wonderful, with very long waits depending on the time of year. Staff works to accommodate the Emergency patients but it can be pretty unpleasant (coming from someone who accompanied an ailing person).

Kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, creativity and gentle humanity abound at UCLA Medical Center. These folks inspire an inclusive environment where genuine interest in others emerges naturally and flourishes. ... And they're good at health care too!

Great care after my daughter's kidney transplant. Her kidney donor had very good care too. Transplant team, doctors, nurses - all made the experience easier. Cafeteria was good. Parking is pricey at $12 a day.

We just had a family member go through the Transplant ICU at this hospital. The doctors, nurses, technicians and staff were amazing. Even the level of care that they showed us when our loved one passed, was beyond words. They set up the room beautifully, with little electric candles and music, so that we could say our goodbyes.

Excellent hospital, exceptional care. My mother in law was seen here as a pre-op liver transplant patient. She had multiple complications during her stay. The staff was phenomenal and found ways to treat each issue as it arose. We were able to stay the night in her room (except in ICU) and visit 24 hours a day. Many stores & restaurants within walking distance. Top of the line, cutting-edge treatments available to patients. Staff is kind and competent. Unfortunately, my mother in law was too sick to receive a new liver. The staff was so compassionate as we took turns saying our goodbyes. We are forever grateful for the care she received here.

No better hospital in the world as far as I'm concerned...my son was born here so he could be rushed to open heart surgery at birth, the staff here have loved him and cared for him like he was their own son for 16 years and I am forever grateful

One of the best hospital cafeterias (and many restaurants) anywhere. Yes, some food is not the best, but overall they do a great job with an excellent salad bar.

Had my 3 children here, always my preference for hospital care. My kids have never been seen by anyone outside of UCLA. The only down side is the parking which has increased ridiculously but still I’d rather someone drop us off then choose somewhere else.
