99 Ranch Market

This store is amazing!! So many awesome Asian ingredients available for your culinary adventures at home. Also there is a food hall upstairs!! It's really nice with some extraordinary offerings. Lima Nikkei, the sushi spot upstairs is unlike any other, Japanese and Peruvian flavors give this restaurant a unique twist. The bakery is really nice too with many cool pastries and sandwiches. The Hot Deli for the store featuring Chinese food ( like Panda Express style) is also upstairs and is always on point! Come hungry and leave happy.

Been waiting for this store to come to the west side for a very long time. Finally, it has arrived and it’s everything that you would hope for fresh vegetables that you can’t get in regular stores, Asian foods galore, every kind of fish, fresh fish, frozen fish, fish balls, shrimp, muscles abalone pretty much everything that you want at this store For your cuisine is a Quick Dr., Parking is not so great but that’s OK. I parked around the corner CVS walked over is not bad very clean obviously knew and has a lot of American products as well. I suggest you come take a visit to New Ranch, 99 on the west side on Westwood Avenue.

Finally open to west LA and the best 99 Ranch Market I’ve been to! They even have two floors. Very close to UCLA. Already busy at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning (just two days into their soft opening).

[Opening] Soft opening Nov 14, and grand opening Nov 29, 2023.

[Parking] Temporarily free, garage entrance on Rochester.

[New] A standalone bakery & cafe with ample space. Coffee is mediocre though, their sea salt coffee is bland.

[Second Floor] Huge food court with many options to come. Only one shop is ready as of Nov 16 but it’s not open until 11 am.

The new 99 Ranch on Westwood is finally open today! I’ve been to a few other locations around LA but I’m pleasantly impressed by the layout in this location. The layout here is pretty different as you start shopping with produce and then the meat, then the dairy/fresh noodles and etc.. this location also has a large abundance of asian products and everything is fresh and organized. Hopefully it will stay like this in the future!

Today is ranch 99 Westwood soft opening. They are still stocking some of the aisle and preparing their second floor for dine in and also bakery section. Many Asian goodies.
Parking underground but spaces are tight so be very careful on your turns and backup, especially near the entrance and exit area.

Awesome selections. Finally there's a huge Asian store in this part of the town. You have to get in from the right door, which is a bit confusing. You can find most things here that are in other 99 ranch. Theresl are two floors, the alcohol is on the second floor, as well as hot food var and juice bar. The hot food bar has duck, pork, tofu, chicken, etc, ranging around $12-17.

They have a wide selection of meat and seafood, and meat dedicated for hopot. A lot of Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Korean snacks.

You have to enter the bakery through the same door which is a bit too far, and you aren't allowed to bring unpaid merchandise to the bakery. I get the idea but it's not convenient.

The prices are slightly higher than the 99 ranch in the east side of LA. $2-$3 dollars more. Nevertheless, I'm happy that there's an Asian supermarket that is close by. It serves more than a grocery store but also a promotion of Asian culture.

Finally have a 99 ranch in West LA! It has probably eeeeverything from your japanese bottled drinks, chinese condiments, taiwanese snacks, filipino ice cream, and soo much more! They had a full section for meat, seafood, produce! Plus they have a bakery with drinks too, then a second floor with the alcohol and i think an upcoming food court in the works!! This is all as of 1/4/2024 just fyi :)

It’s finally open! After months of anticipation, we have access to sliced meats for hotpot in West LA. The second floor has the alcohol section and a few restaurants.

So glad this has finally opened in West Los Angeles! This makes shopping for Asian goods so much easier. Can't wait for the upstairs food court to really get underway.

So excited for a 99 Ranch store on the Westside! Some info on amenities:

Parking was free today (presumably due to their grand opening). Looks like going forward it will be free for the first 90 minutes with validation. The parking spots and driveways are pretty narrow— do be careful with those turns.

I saw a women’s bathroom right before the steps/ramp to the frozen and bakery section.

One feedback is that I wish they would put some plastic bags in the meat section. The duck I got was packed with quite a bit of blood and leaked all over my bag…

Soft opening today! Years of waiting and excellent first impression. Wistful, about no longer needing the long drive to San Gabriel for the essentials, but delighted to see on the west side.!

Finally! I have been looking forward to this opening for 2 years. After seeing the soft opening, I am still as excited as I anticipated. It's a great addition to the neighborhood. Sorry Sprouts, Bristol Farms, TJ, WFM, Nijiya... I am bringing your business to 99 Ranch if its food quality, availability and cleanliness are consistently maintained. I look forward to the grand opening! Keep up with security as well!!

The organization of this place is perfect, fresh seafood and good cuts of meat.
The frozen area is huge.

Love this store! It’s like a Chinese Whole Foods, full of interesting things! Beautiful presentation of fresh fruit and vegetables. Narrow aisles so be prepared to use hand cart. I love their bakery items at other locations and the Westwood store bakery has all my favorites. They even had Sriracha in stock although there is a limit of one bottle per customer!

It's so nice to have 99 Ranch here! This location feels really modern with the layout, kind of like the new Whole Foods with their freezer and refrigerator styles. The parking garage is a little tight but plentiful, and there are options on the street if needed. The upstairs food court isn't finished yet, but it looks promising. This location seems a little smaller than the Van Nuys location, but there's still a lot of variety (including many vegan and vegetarian options).

New 99 Ranch Market by UCLA. A Chinese market that upped the ante on fresh, new, contemporary and reasonable price food!! Beautiful lights to display merchandise without straining your eyes in the aisle or in the frozen section. Very clean store.
Last time I saw this beautiful of a Chinese market was in Toronto, Canada.
Bravo!! I'll be back again!!

I like the high quality here. Fresh fish. Lots of Asian products. Great deals. The bakery and deli are excellent. Free parking. Great customer service.
