I’ve never written a single review on any app in my life, but this is a special unique occasion. Andy has been my only barber for the last 4 years, and when he told me his plans to open his own shop I was excited to see his vision turn to reality. The Barbers Lounge is top notch and exactly what West LA needed. Clean shop with chill laid back energy. He will do his best to take walk ins but I recommend scheduling ahead. He does it all while staying on time and never making his clients feel rushed. He can carefully follow instructions, but also has a skilled creative eye if you want to try out some new styles. Just moved to LA, and held off trying to find a barber until I was recommended Andy. Instantly, he built rapport, acknowledged a lack of trust exists with first time cuts, and outlined how he cuts hair and his approach. Instantly had my trust and he gave an incredible haircut. Additionally, wicked friendly, thoughtful, and genuine. Bringing back what a barbershop should be after that somewhat disappeared after Covid.
Not to mention very fair pricing for the skill level he has.

Andy hooked me up with an amazing haircut! Scheduling the appointment for the cut was super easy and straightforward. The Barbers Lounge itself was very clean, and the interior was really nice. Andy truly is the best barber on the westside. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home in his shop. Cool set up with a pool table and arcade game while you wait. And he’s always willing to work with you so you can walk out the shop feeling confident and satisfied.

I've gotten two haircuts now from Andy and I can't say enough good things about the guy. Super personable and easy to get along with, plus actually gives a really nice fade. The biggest reason I'd recommend Andy and his shop is because he actually cares about your input on your haircuts and asks questions to make sure he cuts your hair the way you want it. But he'll also offer his advice in a respectful way as the hair professional. Definitely going to keep going back. Been to a ton of barbers and Andy and The Barbers Lounge are top notch!

First time coming here and I had a great experience. I’m trying to grow my hair out, and Andy did a great job of just trimming up the dead ends and texturing my hair without taking off too much length. I’ve had other barbers chop off tons of hair even after I tell them I’m trying to grow it out, but Andy did a great job of listening to what I wanted and explaining what the best way to cut it would be given that I wanted to keep growing it out. I will definitely be coming back here!

Andy is the best barber in the business. He’s been cutting my hair for few years now.(as well as my son’s) and he never disappoints. In addition, he’s just a great dude who always makes you feel welcome while you’re there and has you looking your best when you leave.

Andy does a great job for both myself and my son! He’s super great with kids and has a mini arcade game and a pool table in the lounge. He takes his time and talks with you to make sure he gets you taken care of the way you want and makes you look good! Super friendly and welcoming.

Andy, the owner, was my barber and he always does an amazing job. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The shop itself is very clean and well-maintained, with a classic and masculine feel. It even has a POOL TABLE!

Andy ALWAYS takes his time with each and every customer. You will never feel like your haircut is rushed or incomplete. I receive lots of compliments from family and friends.
