House of Tacos & Sandwiches

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? Only the good reviews though! First time here and we had to try the tacos but we went all out and did the big tray of 25 tacos and we got all 4 flavors! Chicken, carnitas, al pastor and carne asada all for $35!!! You get cilantro, onions, limes and hot sauce. It was all more than I had expected sooooo good! Then the second time we had the carne asada burrito, cheese quesadilla and the pastrami sandwich. Ok, the burrito was delicious and the meat was nicely seasoned and soft. My motto is you don't order non Mexican food at a Mexican restaurant but I read the reviews and I had to try the sandwich. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Just mediocre. Now I know, don't order sandwiches at house of tacos! But I do want to try their hamburger but I will opt to trying the burrito first.

Food here is delicious!! The food tastes as if my mom was making it from home which i love. I especially enjoyed their empanadas, very crispy and delicious ! The cashier was very friendly and patient while taking our order! We will definitely be going here again.

I have been hunting for the perfect torta and I found it here!

The meat was flavorful and just the right amount of fatty. The tomato, avocado, and lettuce added the perfect amount of freshness. The cheese and beans were perfectly balanced and they added just the right amount of mayo. I've never had a better torta.

To make things even better, for the price they are huge! Less than $10 and easily satisfied both my husband and I.

Great little hole in the wall that you might skip past like I did. Don’t make the same mistake, which assumed a place that makes both Mexican and American food can’t make either one very well. Boy was I wrong. We tried this place because my GF prefers chicken milanesa and I prefer beef. This is one of the few places that have both, so why not. Tried the chicken milanesa torta, steak sandwich (just to try the American side of the house), four tacos, and asada huarache and a beef empanada. Everything was delish. Not a bad dish, although the portions are pretty huge so be careful what you order :). The only thing I probably won’t order again is the steak sandwich. It was good with plenty of meat, but not really a “steak” sandwich but thin cuts of beef/steak. Could have easily been called an carne asada sandwich. Again, delish, just not what I was expecting. Did i mention how huge this sandwich was! Check out the pics. I’ll probably try the house special or roast beef instead next time on the American side and want to try the Chile verde and some of the other empanadas on the Mexican/Latin side.

Pro tip: if your really hungry and want milanesa, get the sandwich vs the torta. For an extra dollar you can see the difference in size of the large sandwich vs torta. The bread and fillings may be different, but it was all good.

I got the asada fries and enchiladas plates to go. The food was amazing and hot. The quality was amazing, the enchiladas reminded me of Guadalajara. I will be back!

Taco trays are nicely arranged and presentation is perfect. Love the double wrapping of sides and napkins between layers of plastic. Nice touch! They helped carry food to my car too. Love this place!

How have I never been here before? I will certainly be back!! Excellent street tacos. I recommend the carnitas. Rice and beans were excellent too.

Seriously my favorite place to get tacos. I mean they are great priced and the food is seriously amazing. The meat is well seasoned and they do not skip out on giving you a generous portion of mean per taco. Also I love their red hot sauce. When I say it's spicy it really is but for some reason it keeps making you want more. Such a great find. Oh also their shrimp tacos are one of the best I've ever had.

Drove by a few times and saw some of my people in and out of the restaurant, who truly know authentic Mexican food so... Thought I'd give it a try, since I miss Mexican food so bad and in a white neighborhood lol.
The rice had good flavor, the portions were nice and not skimpy and the food was actually pretty tasty. I'd recommend burritos, torta and flautas and sope! Hehe

Awesome lil hole in the wall spot. Drove past it so many times. So glad I stopped to try it, now it's my go-to spot for Burritos and Tacos in the area.

I always come for the tacos. Mostly I get the asada, but I also like the carnitas and pastor. The empanadas are gaining in popularity. The salsa has good flavor and heat as well. It isn't just spicy and sour. Those who I have recommended come here have agreed this is a great spot for food.

Would recommend 100%. My favorite items on the menu are the asada huarache and chicken malenesa. My kid loves their rice too. Customer service has always been friendly and helpful. I forget the price, but they do have taco Tuesday specials and fish taco Friday specials.

Great deal for Taco Tuesday. Only $1 The tacos are not skimpy. I have also had the chile releno plate.....very filling and tasty. If you can on Tuesday try and call in order or you will have to wait around 20 mins.

I love this place. Even when I moved like 30 minutes away, I would still come here once a week. Super friendly staff, amazing tacos.

Small place but amazing food!!! Found this place by accident and will be coming back when in the area! Had the fish tacos fresh hot and delicious 😋

My friend and I went here for dinner and the food was excellent. It's a bit pricey but there's lots of food.

My daughter found this hole in the wall place. Let me tell you, the food is good. $1 taco Tuesday and $1 fish tacos Friday. It's gets real busy on Tuesday so call in and order ahead of time is my recommendation.

Try fish taco fridays. They're only $1.00 each and totally delicious.

We were randomly near here - got a torta. It was so good I didn't believe it. So I went back today. The first one I tried was asada, this one I tried Al pastor. It's seriously so freaking amazing. I'm going to try everything they make but so far no torta holds a candle to this torta. Highly highly highly recommend plus they have dollar tacos on Tuesday

This is my go to spot for tacos, enchiladas, taquitos, and sandwiches. Food is great, the service is great. No complaints here!!
