Dr. Limketkai practices evidence based medicine in a high quality and professional manner. He always answers my questions with expert level knowledge. He is very kind and personable. He has a basic science and clinical background which makes him a valuable resource to patients with IBD. I am appreciative of his sound advice and kind demeanor.

I find Dr. Limketkai to be very helpful. He is very knowledgeable in the field of GI IBD and other related issues like adhesions and motility disorders. He is an excellent communicator and I am very satisfied with his care. I have a complex case of Crohn's/Colitis with diverticulitis and adhesion disease, multiple bowel resections, anastomosis disorders, abnormal bowel loops causing SIBO, etc. UCLA and Cedars are my go to facilities and Dr. Limketkai is highly recommended. Dr. Limketkai was one of the most thoughtful, thorough, caring doctors I’ve ever had. I just moved from having an excellent GI in Manhattan, and I felt he was even better, especially regarding his ability to converse holistically about the body.

They don’t give you any significant time or attention. They bill your insurance without giving you any heads up. The lack of informed consent when it comes to billing procedures is thievery.

Dpctpr Limketkai has been my specialist for years now. I have suffered incredibly because of his dishonesty, his discordant and chaotic medical advice, and his destructive campaign to make me an enemy of his GI department. He has long been infuriated that I cannot find other specialists at other systems willing to work with me. Now his advice for my flare changed from "seek inpatient care of many types urgently" to "speak to your outside of UCLA provider." Because he refused to sign my emergency exemption from managed medi cal, i can now work with no other system beside UCLA, trapping me in a horrible cycle of abuse and neglect. I have never had a seriously active flare this long, and never met a doctor more despicable. I can only hope he sees this, and considers giving our relationship a reset: I am an earnest hard worker, and I dont deserve to suffer and die because of his abuse. And inpatient doctors did tell me i was at risk of death, before another member of his team denied that care he told me to seek-perhaps he thinks waiting 2 days in the ER for a room while I suffer a terrible flare is funny, or that I would just get COVID or another infection and die.

If you value your time, do not go with this doctors office. They do not know which end is up when it comes to scheduling things correctly including sending correct prescriptions. You'll be spending more time trying to fix their mistakes then actually getting treated.
