Odie Pet Insurance

I came across Odie at the recommendation of a friend, and decided to switch from my current pet insurance to Odie and I am so happy I did. A year and a half later my baby girl was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and the team at Odie has been beyond incredible. It’s the most comprehensive pet insurance I have come across and I suggest it to all of my friends who are pet owners. No one has been disappointed ❤

I had to share my recent experience with Odie as I was really impressed with their customer service! Molly had a bit of a health scare and I felt like they genuinely cared about her well-being. Best part, I was reimbursed in just a couple days! It’s one thing to have insurance, it’s another to have a team that’s got your back when the vet bills start stacking up. Odie’s got Molly’s stamp of approval (and mine too, obviously)! Five stars all the way!

I have been a client of Odie's for almost 5 years and every single time something comes up, whether routine or emergency I have them behind me as Monty's insurance. Monty fractured his back tibia as a puppy and I didn't have coverage at that time (he was about 4-5 months old). Big, big mistake. A few years ago Monty was diagnosed with idiopathic head tremors which have since gone away, but required an ER trip, two overnights to watch for seizures as well as seeing a neurologist and Monty was covered for almost the entirety of the bill. They cover wellness routine and emergency needs and you get to pick what you want. My monthly is affordable and I have so much security knowing Monty's needs will always be covered. We love being Odie clients!

I have Odie for both of my dogs and they are wonderful! I have had to submit a couple of claims for the dogs and their team is so quick with handling claims and super responsive. We switched from another dog insurance company to Odie because they were the same price but I felt like handling my claims was more difficult. I would totally recommend Odie!!!

I LOVE Odie! I used to have another pet insurance and when I signed up for Odie I saved like $20 a month ... and they reimburse for regular visits to the vet, like people health insurance. I highly recommend Odie to keep your pet healthy!

A++++! I have only had Odie for my dog for just about a year now, but they saved me when my lil guy got unexpectedly sick and I had to take him to the ER. Not only was the process efficient and simple, the customer service was also incredibly friendly and helpful. And best of all, my boy has received the best service and I’ve saved money by switching from my previous insurance company!!

I really like this insurance. It’s affordable and it eases my worries. Dogs are unpredictable and they eat the craziest things. My dogs always eat rocks and chew crazy stuff. It’s a relief to have an insurance for them. I love them so much. I couldn’t imagine not being able to pay to something if they got hurt and this insurance is also on the California.Gov website. I wanted insurance that would be held to certain standards. That was a big part in me choosing them. It’s not a waste of my. It’s insurance and peace of mind.

Waste of your money. Look for other pet insurance companies. Odie will take a long time to review your case, then will deny, deny, deny. Will bend over backward to find pre-existing condition as reason not to pay. Avoid this scam insurance company. Try Lemonade. Hear good things about them.

🚩BEWARE🚩I have this insurance for over three years.
They are a 🚩SCAM🚩have not paid a cent for not one of my vet bills. My dog had a pre-existing allergy condition which I understand is not covered. Anytime I send in a claim they linked it to the pre-existing condition. I had to file an appeal even VMD stating it is not related to the precondition and to no avail. Changing to a different PET INSURANCE.

Poor value and deceptive onboarding. During sign-up, you are given the option to select "value" (~15mo), "medium"(~30mo), and "premium" (~50mo) plan types, but don't let these fool you; after getting a mere 24% of a $785 visit covered, I discovered that my "premium" plan doesn't cover any medications or prescriptions, tests, waste disposal, taxes, or office fees. Of course, you would think these options come standard in a "premium" plan, but apparently not. You have to go in and add these coverages individually which pushes the monthly premium close to what I am paying for human health insurance. With the hefty monthly premiums and vet bills that are not going to be fully payed out, the value proposition of Odie is simply not there.

This pet insurance agency is a scam!!! After being with the company for over a year wouldn’t cover $787 bill, I got the runaround for a full two months and when I called again they said my case was terminated. What’s the point of paying for insurance when they’re not willing to pay for a claim this is completely bogus. Please stay away from this company they won’t pay for anything. Here is my receipt.

🛑🛑Terrible pet insurance… They will not cover one thing. I have had insurance with them for over 3 years they declined all for my GSD.

So far it's been over two months since I filed a claim and they haven't even started reviewing it.
