Red Wing - Tacoma, WA

I bought some boots in August and one of them started squeaking about 4 months later. The boots felt comfortable and were keeping water out like they were supposed to but the squeak was annoying! I called on a weekend and spoke with Austin who had advised me to bring them in and they’d swap them out for a new pair. They honored the return and applied the Tuff Toe to the new boots and I picked them up a couple of days later. Excellent service at this location which is a rarity nowadays. I’ll keep coming back. I believe they also honor a union discount too if you ask. Keep up the good work!

Their customer service cannot be beat. Needed new work boots due to stolen luggage and showed up within a half hour of closing. Austin was the best! He really made a painful situation so much more pleasant. My husband’s previous model of well-loved Red Wing work boots were no longer available; however, Austin went out of his way to research the closest match, all while pulling different models and sizes of boots and insoles. He was so patient and understanding. We left with a great pair of boots and insoles, and a new go-to spot for Red Wing shoes. Thanks again, Austin! You’re a life saver!

Very helpful and patient when it came to fitting the shoe and explaining how The Ultimate Fit system works to measure my proper foot size!

Went in needing new boots for work. David started by scanning my feet for a proper fit, as well as measuring and assessing my steps, should I decide to get custom insoles.

David promptly retrieved the recommended size of my desired model, and the fit was perfect, and I have had zero issues so far.

The store's PoS system happened to be down that day, but David assured me I would still be able to purchase them (this purchase was a time-sensitive work requirement), and hand-wrote the entire transaction, informed me of how the process works, that it would be ran the next day, and what to look for in my account when it came to the deductions, as there were two possible amounts; one including my voucher from my work, and one including the voucher PLUS another discount I might have been eligible for due to the company I happened to work for.

This was the best and most satisfying shoe-buying experience I have ever had. You have a new repeat customer. :)

Let me just say that Elizabeth and her coworker are freaking awesome! (I didn't catch his name sorry) I was in the Tacoma store last Saturday to use a voucher I got from work. There was an issue with the voucher and they went above and beyond to research why and what we could do. When it turned out that we couldn't fix the issue that day, she held my order till I could have my employer fix the voucher. When I went back today with the new voucher they remembered me and were so glad that the voucher worked and I was able to get the boots. It has been a long time since I received this level of top tier customer service. 10 out of 10! Thank you both so much! You rock!

Had what I needed tip protection for work boots. If you buy their boots they will put on the tip protection in store if not you purchase and put on the tip protection yourself. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Measured my feet and arches, ordered a pair of boots they didn't carry from the factory in Minnesota, shipped them to my house for free, and they arrived 2 days early.

I needed a pair of boots my company didn't authorize. The manager told me there was a process to get them. It took about a week, and he called me to come get them. couldn't be happier.

I have never owed a pair of red wings so it was all so new for me they tested my feet and told me what souls to get and helped me more then enough with finding my shoes which was size 14 which no one else had

I loved my experience at this store. I became very well informed of what my feet were getting into. I got the latest model of what i now consider the best boot i have ever owned. Tracy made me feel right at home and welcomed. I even learned a few things, making my choice for the right boot even easyer.

Even with their system being messed up, they were able to use my voucher to get my company boots. I'm a very happy customer!

Got boots about a week ago after being fitted, they were to narrow at the toe, started to get blister on my toe, was able to return for a different boot with wider toe, was easy and no hassle, great customer service

Came in to check on some shoes I'd ordered. They have been back ordered and may never actually be available. Was told that two other stores might have them and to expect a call tomorrow. Always get great service. Just limited choices for women. Husband always buys shoes from them, limited stock right now

I had no idea how good a steel toe boot could feel. They imaged my feet and fitted me with a pair of Irish Setters. After I broke them in these are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.

This has been the only place I've ever bought my work boots from since 2003. I've always had great customer service and I absolutely love my Red Wing boots! I've bought the same style from day one till now. They recently stopped making my usual boot, but offered the newer option. It's a little different than my old ones, but same quality and comfort that I expect from my Red Wings. I'm a customer for life at this location.

Loved their customer service! Absolutely great experience and they are very good people and I would recommend them to anyone looking for boots. Seriously the best boot buying experience I've ever had. Left saving money and with more then I expected to get. Please check them out, Seriously! Would put 1,000 stars if possible.

Greated as walked in and very helpful for all my needs and wants

I'm in love with my Silversmith! I went in on black friday to order them. Even though the store was busy, Forest was patient to answer all my questions. He also brought me different sizes and tips on how the perfect fit should feel. The exact ones I wanted weren't in stock, so he got them ordered direct from the factory. A week later we discovered that USPS made an error and returned them to the factory, so Forest immediately got another pair sent out and made it right. The Tacoma store is awesome and they work hard to make you happy!

I'm so impressed by Red Wing and their dedication not only to their customer but to making top quality boots right here in America. We will be back!
