REI

This has been my go to REI for 5 years.

Today Sean and a colleague (whose name I didn't get) over at the shop helped me find the right fitment for my snowboard boots and even let me return my boots 20 days after the close out window.

Great service, great advice. Will be coming back!

Super nice REI with great stock and good sales right now. All of the staff was super helpful and nice. One of my favorite stops in the Alderwood Mall.

Excellent equipment and helpful salespeople. If you want the best REI has you covered. Very lightweight camping and backpacking gear, bikes of all kinds, climbing stuff and more.

Employees are very nice and helpful. The clothing and gear here is high quality. The return policy is great.

Have been here several times and always have a good experience. Big selection, friendly employees and the best return policy around.

First, this is a smaller location, not like their big flagship store. It is still incredibly well stocked, and you should have no trouble finding what you need.

I always remind myself: REI isn't the place to go for cheap supplies. It's the place you go for Quality supplies, expert advice, and supporting both environmental and social concerns.
REI is a co-op, so you get the benefit of knowing you're not giving your money to a faceless multi-billion conglomerate.
They regularly hold educational events, and their employees are well versed in outdoor needs.

I went in looking for hiking boots earlier this summer and I had five employees looking to help me and they all went absolutely above and beyond! The boots I got are great. Special thanks to Zach and the guy at the register with the cool rings for all your help :)

Leslie was incredible! She fit me to the right size backpack and was super personable and great at multi-tasking as well as making sure every customer was taken care of without making me feel like she was less attentive to me. Great example of a fantastic employee.

REI has always been a great company to deal with, but the customer service at the Lynwood location is top notch. Shout out to Sven who was a pleasure to work with on a tricky return/refund.

Sales staff were very helpful, tracking down an item showing in Invintory. Life long member... well atleast since 1979.

If you are into outdoor activities, the REI is the place for you. Regardless of the season, you will find plenty of gear for your next adventure.

Not the cheapest of price, especially at the beginning of the season, but great deals can be had mid-season and end of the season if you're not picky.

Join the coop for currently $30, worth the price for the money you get back and deals.

If you do not find what your looking for at the store check out online as a great assortment is there.

Many of the REI labeled gear is made by name brands. Worth the consideration to buy, especially the Goretex labeled gear.

I really wish REI was pro union. Their efforts kind of sour me on the company. The staff at this store is great though. Nothing but positive interactions. 5 stars for them but 3 for the company.

Great place to get hiking boots! Zack and the rest of the footwear team were helpful and patient with me and worked to ensure that I found the perfect pair of boots. Excellent customer service!

Great selection. A bit pricey but the service and customer service is worth it. Went for new running vest and shoes. Got vest. Not many running shoes though.

Love this store, they have lot of good gears for outdoor sports. Became their coop member to get some good discount and benefits. Love booking snow shoeing, camping and hiking through them too. Their guides are very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!!

It's a smaller store so don't expect the stock to be anywhere near what you'd see downtown. If I'm being honest, it's a little underwhelming for some but that's not really anyone's fault. It's a fun place to browse around with staff that have always been super friendly and helpful. Plus it's a fairly convenient location to pick up your online orders!
