La Fogata Mexican Restaurant & Catering

A fine Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Chile Verde burrito plate and was not disappointed. The restaurant well maintained with an excellent salsa bar and plenty of parking. I would definitely visit again.

Carne Asada is very special it has very distinct taste seasoning is delicious highly recommend. Also the beef tacos hard shell very good. Tried there champurrado sooo good

Nachos Al Pastor was filled with more chips than than flavor and protein for the price, but ok. Chile Verde Burrito was excellent!!!
Ordered thru Grubhub and was delivered speedily and hot. Would like to see pork tamales and menudo on the menu. It was a good first time experience. Will definitely order again.

My girl said she’s been going here for years and hyped it up quite a bit for my first time. It definitely lived up to the hype. I had the taco salad with shredded chicken, chips and salsa (of course!) and guacamole. Yummmmmm!!

I've been coming here for 20 years and the food, service, and atmosphere is always tip-top. I love this place more than most of my local Westside favorites and only wish they opened a location out here. I love LA Fogata!

My recent experience at La Fogata, there was a misunderstanding with my order! Gio handled the situation professionally and pleasantly! I've eaten since the 90s, As years passed by food got better, and with recent remodeling, there are plenty of seats and parking!

This place is a small mexican restaurant with big flavors. The options they have are plentiful and all are great. Prices are decent too. I come her all the time with my partner, we love the Pollo En Mole and the Birria Tacos. They also serve beer, agua frescas and some cocktails. A great find and a staple in my book of places to go.

La Fogata by far has the best carne asada soft tacos!! They fill the tacos with a generous amount of meat where it literally spills out of the tacos!! Great food!!

Super huge portions, you can share 1 entree with 2 or even 3 people lol. And the meat is delicious. Everything is made well. I recommend the fish, though it is on the crisper side.

I love this place since the early 80's. They remodeled the place and it is very pretty. Much roomier too! The salsa bar is on a better location too.
I was very pleased with the improvements. I love this waiter that has been there for many years and he treats me so warmly.
My friends ALL love La Fogata. I have taken a lot of people there and they all agree that it is a good Mexican restaurant.

Our boss decided to buy lunch today and my coworker and I were trying to figure out where to pick up lunch from and so we found this place. He placed the order an said the lady on the phone was really nice, so we were off to a good start! It was ready in 15 minutes and they checked the order w me and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food looked so good and FRESH! Coworker started eating before I got a full pic, but he got a Carne Asada Burrito and I got the Fogata Burrito with the salsas on the outside and each got a jr. plate 1 taco (beef hard shell) with beans and rice.
My coworker said " I just keep eating and I'm not even hungry" Lol!
His wife and kids came by and saw the food and now is gonna order some!

Cheap, very good down home Mexican cooking.

Highly recommend the restaurant and bar.

My favorite crunchy tacos in all of Los Angeles. Mouth-watering Machaca, fast service, plenty of seating, great decor. Pro Tip: I order 4 tacos a la cart (2 chicken, 2 beef) so I don’t fill up on beans and rice;)

Even though I don't live in the area any more. I still come by for the food.

I came here for a quick lunch, and the food was served quickly and was delicious! Try the taco combo with the cheese enchilada! The only downside is the parking is terrible!

We got take out and it was so delicious! Their enchiladas and potato taquitos are so good! Great vegetarian options!

Love eating here! It's nice eating inside or on the outdoor patio. The margarita options are tasty and I love that they have some beer on tap. The grilled flavor of the chicken and steak is fantastic. I've had their enchiladas with spinach and cheese with green sauce. I've also had them with steak, grilled chicken and shredded chicken. My hubby enjoyed the burrito and sopes too.

Ordered a couple of things on ubereats the other day, I’m here for work from CT. Quite possibly the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Memorably good, great portions, great price.
