Great park to take kids to play, I also love that the library is right there as well. I know there is a splash park there that gets very busy during the hotter months! Very clean, well maintained area. The new bathrooms are so much nicer! I love that they have string lights up for at night time. We love taking our dogs for walks here, and we go to the farmers market almost every single Saturday when it is open! The market has gotten increasingly busier and more popular over the years, but it is still my favorite market to go to.

The Puyallup Farmers Market at Pioneer Park is so much fun! A great time for the whole family with lots of food, music, coffee, fruits & veggies, and so much more! The park itself is also quite large and a great place to hang out and enjoy the lovely weather, with lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance it's the perfect place to meet friends and family for a fun day out.

Always a good time there. From coffee stores, ice cream man playing his music, playgrounds, events in the common building. Today they had taco stands. Yum. They also have the farmers market down there too. So many things that I haven't mentioned but those are the highlights!

Think America. Think Puyallup. Pioneer Park is as it should be: flowers and lawns, statues and history, generations and glory to celebrate freedom. I'm so impressed with the wholesomeness of this park I'm about drawn to tears. To watch seniors amble gingerly, barefoot across the lawns while watching grandkids shout with delight at the splashpark, to see accessible art in statues and words, to rest on a shaded bench next to fragrant roses while remembering those who fought for freedom, it is all here. American goodness and joy, American connection and celebration of life and of us. All of us.
Notes: Parking available at the park or after 6 pm or so at the city employee lot next to the park. Plenty of paved walkways, a playground, many statues and plaques, gorgeous flowers in summer, and good people all around.

This is a great park with a awesome updated playground that has good structures for both younger and older kids. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. There is a stage for events and public restrooms. I can't wait for the splash pad/ spray park to open for the season.

I finally checked out the farmers market! It turned out to be a nice day too. I love seeing the different vendors and trying samples of food. We parked at Safeway for $5. Bought a bouquet of flowers $20, chocolate turnover $4 or $5, peach and habanero turn over - good, flavored butters, burgers from Stacks. Our burgers were called 3 little pigs, basically a bacon cheeseburger. Tried the maple bacon aioli-good, 1/2lb smoked brisket - not bad, bbq beans - good and Mac n cheese - not good. Dry and no taste. Got the most hugest oysters I've ever seen!! $3 each so I bought a couple. Lots of people with their dogs but it got annoying because the leashes that get in your way and just stopping because their dog sniffing another dog. Other than that it's nice to go and check out what's around and experience.

Great park in the middle of Puyallup, next to the library and local shops. The park has a nice playground and splash pad with the public restrooms.

This park is beautifully laid out and nestled in Puyallups downtown corridor. Food and coffee shops surround the park for a quick bite or drink. During the summer there usually is music and food trucks galore.
Take the art tour and listen from your smart phone by simply calling a number. The statues and monuments are very well kept.

Pioneer Park is the crown jewel in the city. The property was donated by Ezra Meeker and was the site of his family homestead.

Surrounding the park is the Pavilion, which is a beautiful and rentable event location.

The public library is also on the property. The current library is the third library built in the city. The first library was built with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation. Inside the library is beautiful with a space for children to play and there are plans for a teen center. The librarians are very helpful.

The open-aired stage is where "Concerts in the Park" are held in the summer.

For kids, there is standard playground equipment, and in the summer, a super nice spray park that was built with the help of the Downtown Puyallup Kiwanas club.

The best for last is the Farmers Market, which is open on Saturdays from approximately April through September. This is one of the top farmers markets in the state and is run by Puyallup Downtown Association.

Saturday farmer's market in full force on a very warm sunny day. Parking options not the best but the market viers the entire park

The park area has really turned into a vibrant family area for Puyallup. I went to see the group "Brickhouse". The park was packed and the people were friendly. I love going down there.

Second best park in the area. My kids always find other friendly kids to play with and the play equipment is nice and graffiti free. The portable restrooms suck but they're almost done with a new restroom so whatevs.

I've been several times and the kids always have fun, there are trees on the edges for shade. The splash park is a lot of fun and the playground also is a fun time. Personally my kids enjoy both the most when they're about 3-12 years old.
