Stumbled upon Bread and Barley while looking for places to eat after learning the place that has a soft opening today only serves drinks.
This gastro bar is a total delight- from the high ceiling to the brick walls and the cool lighting. Good food and friendly service were a plus. We ordered Fried Brussel sprouts and the Bread and Barley burger which came with a choice of side, we decided on regular fries. The brussel sprouts was 5 stars. Perfectly toasted not bitter. Tossed with nuts and bacon bits in a balsamic glaze dressing. The burger was more than enough split between my sister and I. Cooked as per our instructions with fries that are not salted nor greasy. Our server “Z” was friendly and quick to take our orders. A 3% service fee is added to all tabs. The fee is waived when paying withcash. There are street parking available as well as a public parking structure half a block away. The restroom was clean and we'll stocked. Definitely would come back with the whole family.

Hidden brunch gem. 😋 The burger was fantastic, and the French toast was scrumptious. Mimosas (pour your own OJ)- YUM.

This is an excellent gastropub. Plenty of beer selections and amazing pub food selection. My friend had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, pickled brined fried chicken, cajun remoulade, and pickles, served a brioche bun. I tried their Mac and Cheese topped with bbq pulled pork, crispy onions, scallions, and served with brussels sprouts. Everything was tasty and will pair well with their extensive beer selection!

Everything was so good!
The OG burger had a chipotle aioli, habanero jam, and jalapeños..
Service was amazing, waitress was super nice and helped us decide on the burger..
To top it off we ended with their bread pudding, soooo good!

Very cool gastro pub. Had a wide selection of beers. BUT let me tell you about the food. I had carinta tacos seen in the picture and they were so good, had a grill flavor and just enough spice. We finished the meal with their bread pudding that was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft melty on the inside. The servers were attentive. Will definitely return.

Great selection of beers and awesome looking menu. Stopped in for a couple of brews. Service was good.

I'd come here for the crispy brussel sprouts alone. Mmm! Only beer here and no liquor.

Everything thing here is delicious! The service has always been great, and the atmosphere is laid back. I highly recommend this place!

Just tried this place. It was amazing based on the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere is cozy, this service is friendly and great, the food is very tasty, and a huge selection of microbrewery. We had the English pub Burger and fish and chips. Each shared half of the other ones food and they both were great choices. By the time we got there at 6 and left at 7 30, the place filled up quickly. The burger had a 1/3 pound Patty medium well with Honey Smoked Bacon arugula tomato lettuce and kettle chips and the Fish and Chips was done just right. I will be back to this place to try other stuff and recommend you trying it too.

Had the fish & and chips. The fish was 1 humongous piece. Both delicious! So many craft beers to choose from on tap, too!

Ordered the Cali Burger protein style. It was fantastic! Cooked perfectly and juicy. Good craft beer tap list too. The service is stellar! Friendly servers, very professional. Relaxed atmosphere with great music in the background. Will certainly be returning soon!

I enjoyed the hell out of this place. I stumbled across it because there was an empty parking spot out front. Haven't been in this area before. I usually like a cool vibe when looking for a spot to eat. This day & age there is no need for a mediocre restaurant or food. Another thing everyone loves is a nice friendly waitress. She recommended mac & cheese with a side of Brussels sprouts. It just sounded interesting enough on this cold rainy day..... and boom, just what the doctor ordered! Amazing!

This place was amazingly good. It was recommended by a friend so we tried it. We had the pub burger with baked chips and the fish n chips plate. Both were tasty n prepared well with different condiments than usual.

The locally brewed beer the waitress recommended was full bodied n tasty.

The place had a nice comfy feel to it n the decor is warm n inviting. We got there at 6 pm when there were about 4 tables. By the time we left just after 7 pm, the place was almost full. Will definitely go back to try their other menu offerings.

Didn't actually eat while here. Just drank beer. But the food did look good. And vibe was good.

Group of 6 tried everything from wings, to burgers, to chicken sandwiches, fish tacos, salads and appetizer veggies.
Everything was fresh, great taste and high quality. Go quick before they realize their prices are too low.
Service was excellent, very attentive and never had to wait to order additional beverages.
