We were greeted immediately at the door with a "welcome in how are you doing" love the hospitality and story.
I'd come back here for sure. Prices were great.

This is seriously the best barbecue in Tacoma. I may even say in Washington state. Everything was perfect. The meat melted in my mouth while exploding with flavor. The tang of the pickles and sweetness of the cornbread makes the perfect combination of all the senses. Get in your car and get dinner. You won’t regret it.

Best brisket around! Sides were great too, mac and cheese and potato salad, cornbread bite size bites.The chicken was a little dry but they give you some awesome BBQ sauce to dip it in. Overall great food! We'll be back soon.

Absolutely the BEST barbecue, hands down! Our favorite is the burnt ends. Even if their location is not close to you, it's worth the drive.

I came by this place before and they were closed. Four months later we decided to stop by again and this time they were open. I read reviews of this establishment and they got a lot of good feed back. They say stuff like the food is delicious and the people are all so friendly. We ordered a half pound of pulled-pork, full slab of ribs, coleslaw and 8 pcs of mini cornbread. The pulled-pork was delicious, the cornbread was good and the ribs was tasty. But five pieces of ribs were very dry. We came to this establishment to dine-in but decided to take it to go.

Would i revisit this restaurant again you may ask. Yup I would definitely comeback to try their burnt-ends and their chicken.

Now ive tried alot of bbq places in washington and alot of them were garbage but this one totally changed my whole perspective. I got a bbq pulled pork sandwhich with Mac and cheese and bbq beans, the pork was phenomenal and the home made bbq sauce was really really good. The beans were okay but they were still good because they are hand made which I like, and the Mac and cheese was super good.
Overall this place gets a 10/10 for me and would recommend anyone to swing by and give these guys a try.

I havent even finished my meal yet and I felt compelled to write a review. My sales guys and I love to get BBQ. This was our 1st time trying 4 sons. Hands down the BEST bbq I have had. Super impressed!! I had the Brisket plate with Potato salad and Mac & Cheese. Plus a side of Broccoli salad. Im so picky about my Mac and cheese and i was soooo good. Great smoky flavor even. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Now Im gonna go finish eating :)

I ordered a beef rib - 1lb, 1 lb of pulled pork, 1/2 lb of pulled chicken and brisket. The chicken is tender. I have become a fan of the pulled pork. Fresh, its really great tasting and has a great texture. The whole reason why I shop here is the brisket and beef rib. This brisket, the fatty side is to die for. Great bark, juicy, and just enough smoke. The beef rib, is my favorite. You must grab it with one hand, pick it up, and go barbarian and right to the mouth. Every rib I have ever received from this place is at least 1 lb. Everyone should at least give this place a try.

Delicious food, great service and a really good atmosphere. My go-to is a pulled pork plate with sides of mac and the baked potato salad. I don’t see many other reviews talking about the baked potato salad but it might just be my favorite item here, and that coming from someone who traditionally doesn’t care all that much for potato salad.

Amazing food. Seating is limited as well as parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

By far, THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. The brisket is so tender and juicy it's not even fair. The pulled pork is amazing, the burnt ends are incredibly flavorful. But definitely try the BIG RIB! Heck, try it all. The brownies are a must have for dessert. I usually stock up on them and keep a few in the freezer.

Sooo, I am a Texan, and we are Stationed out here. I have been looking for some good ole bbq. One thing we love in Texas is our bbq. A friend recommended I try “My 4 Sons.” Hands down, THIS IS SOME BOMB PNW BBQ, & as a Southern creole woman who loves to cook, it’s hard to compete with my homemade Mac & Cheese. However, I must say that Mac & Cheese at My 4 sons, gets a 10/10. Y’all that’s some good Mac & Cheese. The staff were amazing! Very very welcoming. I will definitely go back for more!

I'm from Texas and I've tried a lot of different barbecue places in the Tacoma area, hands down they are the best. The brisket and beef ribs are DELICIOUS. Everything is good and they're always so nice. Thank you guys!

Here's the deal about this place... It's genuinely the best BBQ that you're going to eat in the state of Washington. Not just because the food is outrageously good, but because the owner puts everything he has into making the best food and the best experience for his customers.

If you have never tried beef ribs before, please do yourself a favor and get one. The owner said "it's just about the best bite here." False - it is the single best bite of BBQ I have ever had. You are doing yourself a disservice by not driving there now and experiencing BBQ Nirvana.

Know that with good BBQ, you are going to pay a chunk of change. Don't let this deter you, but rather have the right mindset... Beef ribs are sold by the bone and are $22/lb. My wife and I got two, a 1/2lb of brisket, corn muffins and baked beans and walked away spending $57.

Again, this is the best BBQ you're gonna get up here, and it's worth every penny.

YES! YES! AND YES you do want to stop by and try the best burnt ❤ ends in WA State! Have you ever had a BBQ sundae? If not, you'll want to try one here. All the meat is smoked to perfection. PERFECTION I TELL YOU! The baked potato salad is AH-MAZING. House made pickles are delicious, I've asked for extra 😋. Oh and they were not afraid to add cheese to the mac and cheese. So good. I highly recommend My 4 Son's BBQ.

This was our first, but not the last, visit to this Yummy BBQ place. It is not large inside, but it does have tables and chairs for I dining in. You order at the counter from a not huge menu, but it has ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken wings. I had the 3 rib meal with baked beans and cole slaw. My wife had the pulled pork with mac and cheese and broccoli salad. Everything was delicious, but the broccoli salad and cole slaw were our favorite side. The meat in both meals was really fantastic. Be sure and try the BBQ sauce on the table. It is darn good. Their homemade pickels are amazing. The two men behind the counter were friendly and helped us understand what to order. We lived in Texas for 3 years, and the ordering process and how the meal was served on a metal pan reminded us of eating BBQ in Texas. The food was every bit as good as down there. If you want some great BBQ, this is a must visit restaurant. Sorry I didn't take photos. I was too busy digging in! Next time, I will slow down and get some pics.

Moving from Texas I was missing some good honest bbq, I found this spot and tried it on a whim, and I was blown away! I ordered the bbq Sunday, burnt ends and brisket.

Burnt ends were packed full of flavor, perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. Brisket had the perfect pull, smokey flavor and oh so tender! The bbq sundae was great too. 11/10 will be coming back for more and will be bringing friends and family. Do not pass up!

You want great bbq, you come here. No other place compares. Pickles were amazing. Brisket. OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICOUS. Baked Beans and Mac n cheese. Perfection. I will only go here for BBQ from now on.

First off, I'm a vegetarian, so when the family said they were taking us to BBQ ... I knew I'd leave hungry. I didn't. Not at all. They had several vegetarian options, such as their coleslaw, corn muffins, desserts and mac and cheese. Their meat did look and smell delicious. I was extremely impressed with the quality of beef used for a small, family BBQ place. The owner was so sweet to show me exactly where they get their wagu beef, after I inquired about it. They purchase their beef from a farm that loves and cares for their cattle. They humanly raise them. All of their cups and dishes are also eco-products. I was just so over-the-top impressed with My 4 Sons BBQ.
