Los Coyotes Pet Hospital

I took my cat, Skye, because she seemed off and was having problems with her breathing. I was initially going to be charged over $1300 for 4 x-rays, some bloodwork, and a fine needle aspiration on 2 sites. After the first x-ray, it was determined that she had cancer that had metastasized through her body, and at that point, the vet recommended euthanasia. I appreciate that instead of going through all of the other testing, they stopped there, and I only ended up paying $215 instead of over $1300. We took her home that day so that we could all say goodbye to her, and so that she could spend one more night at home, being loved on from everyone.

I brought her back the next day for the euthanasia, and the staff was really great. They have flameless candles in the lobby to indicate that someone is saying goodbye to their pet, and they ask for people to keep voices low. The staff explained everything that was going to happen, and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. The room had food and treats, as well as an ink pad and cards to make a paw print. The vet performed the procedure while Skye was in my lap, and it was very quick and peaceful.

Despite the unexpected and devastating news, I'm glad that we took her in, and can take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering.

An absolutely amazing experience! This is the closest animal hospital that offers titer tests for my dog, Andie. After making the almost two hour drive here, I checked in and got placed into an exam room immediately. The doctor came in shortly and she was the nicest doctor I’ve ever taken my dog to. She answered all my questions, and was so gentle and kind to Andie. She even allowed me and my dad to stay in the room while Andie got her blood works done. The entire staff that I interacted with was incredibly sweet, and I’m so glad we were able to find this place. The long drive was SO worth it, and we will definitely be coming back again!

My dog is my baby and I’ve put off getting her spayed for so long!!! I knew I had to do it eventually for her health and was recommended Los Coyotes Pet Hospital. I couldn’t be happier!!! I swear my dog didn’t even notice she had a procedure done at all! She went home that day as her normal peppy self and stayed that way! Hardest part was making sure she didn’t play too much! She continued with zoomies and her regular cheekiness! She wore a donut cushion the first day and then we switched to a recovery onesie. She never tried to pick at it and her personality is exactly the same! She still loves her doggy boyfriend LOL! So grateful!!

I am a medical foster for Long Beach Animal Control. I was sent to Los Coyotes with a kitten that had glue poured on it and abandoned. I found Dr. Choi and her team to be very personable and professional. The entire team delivery compassionate care. The waits are reasonable. The fasciitis is clean and modern.

Couldn’t have chosen a better place for our baby tigerlilly! The staff is friendly, caring, and and loving. Unfortunately, we had to put her down but even through those difficult moments their staff walked us through the process and gave us their moral support!

We are very pleased with the care and service for our babies, when two got cancer it was as if they were their own. Thank you for the heart felt cards sent from the entire staff after we lost Tucker -15, Emma -almost 18 and Coco-16, without the excellent care given our babies would not have lived as long as they did.

On the pricy side, but you can trust them to take excellent care of your fur babies. The Doctors are very good.

Staff and doctor are personable, friendly and kind. My French bull dog doesn't get anxiety or fear when she realizes where she's at. She trusts them and they are great with her. In my opinion the pricing is reasonable and affordable. I Highly recommend this pet hospital.

The best vets we've ever had. Dr. Jo found our dog's cancer before it had spread and, because of her, we were able to get him to a cancer specialist immediately. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone there is super caring, friendly, professional and absolutely amazing.

PROS: I like the staff and veterinarian here. They are gentle and patient with my cat. (Who can be difficult.) Everyone I've interacted with here seems to genuinely care about animals.

CONS: The cost is not cheap.
(Nor is it astronomically expensive.)

CONCLUSION: In my mind, the quality of service and level of confidence I have that my pet will be well cared for when I leave him there far outweigh whatever savings might be had by choosing a different option. It is best to be realistic and just accept the fact that owning a pet is not cheap.

Very caring vets who are very knowledgeable. I tell my friends and family to go there. You will get excellent care for your pets at a reasonable price. The facility is always clean and the staff are nice, caring, and helpful. They also have laser therapy and acupuncture. It is strictly a pet hospital, they don't offer boarding or grooming (there's a grooming facility right next door) so it's not as noisy as places that do. With less barking and crying in the background, my pets, especially my cats, aren't as nervous going in. The prices are amazing with the level of care you'll get from this place. Highly recommended.

They practice the very best of both East & West veterinary medicine. Extremely up to date facilities and equipment. Office from front to back is exceptionally clean. The doctors and staff alike are very warm, friendly & caring. Everyone there is extremely competent and detailed oriented. I know my pets are getting the best possible care.

They were great with me and my dog! Helped me get a health certificate to fly to Hawaii and gave me some great tips! They could use a better snack selection though.. thats what my dog comes for.

The male Tech was very nice and professional. The Dr was very helpful and took her time with my Maxx 🐶 I totally recommend it it is very nice and clean loved it! My baby got his year vaccines and he took them like a champ! ❤

My large 10 yr old rottweiller had cancer and a broken leg and needed to go to heaven. The staff was awesome and made what was a difficult situation
much easier. They were great and highly recommend them.

After trying a few vets in the area we really like this place. Doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like they are concerned with my dogs health and don't try to sell me on a bunch of unnecessary tests.

The staff is always available and very helpful. They were there for us when our kitty was sick. Victor is always friendly which made the ordeal of dealing with a very sick cat more bearable.
