One of their pharmacists, Julie Manneschmidt was wonderful.
She had been very patient while I was asking many questions about my new medication drag because it was a steroids which I rarely took before.

She also wrote me how I had to take that medichine because it was a bit complicated for a newbie like me to follow the instructions.

Recently, since my health condition has been changed quite bit, I have had a bunch of new medicines to take, and then I was given a steroid medication today; so, I was overwhelmed.
Though she totally cleared my fear.

She was knowledgeable, easy to talk, and very friendly.

I attached the memo which she wrote for me, today.

Today, 7/20/22, Ruby at the pharmacy dept made my day. I really appreciated her thoughtful attention on my prescription drug.

I went to see a new doctor yesterday (7/19) and the receptionist told me that I could have picked it up at this Walgreen yesterday though, I could not get it and found that they did not receive any order from my new Dr's office instead.

So, I made a claim to Dr's office today and they sent the prescription to this Walgreen and called there to get the status for a pick-up this afternoon (7/20). Then, I found out that it was not covered by my insurance.

I was getting so frustrated, and, I sent an inquiry email to my doctor's office. After that, I went out for grocery shopping near
by this Walgreen. Since this was the first time for me to get this prescription drug, I wanted to know what was it.

So, I just stopped by this Walgreen to get the information, and then I had a chance to talk to Ruby.
I told her that my visit there was just for getting the information about my new drug since it was denied by my insurance. Then, she looked up my information and said that "somehow it was denied though; if you could wait I could get it for you." WWWHAT? I could not get what she said at the first place though; any way I got my medicine within 10 minutes, WOW!.

Oh-boy, she really made my week, too. If she did not have much knowledge/consideration/expertise and was a careless personal, I would have expected to spend a lot of time to talk to my Dr's office to solve this issue.

Thank you, Ruby! You are awesome! A Ruby was not my birthstone though; she became my favorite gem by now!

The Walgreens location is usually in really great and nice condition.
Not sure if it is part of the job, but I seem to always be greeted with, "Welcome to Walgreens."
As of recent, there have been more, what appears to be, genuine smiles. The greeting offered was a little hollow without a smile. But now, with more smiles, the greeting seems genuine.

The employees at this location are usually pretty familiar with their stuff.

As a review of the restroom: It is usually in a nice and clean condition or state. I am glad to have gone in to the restroom to find it clean a majority of the times that I needed to go.
In those few instances where it was not clean, I can understand that it may have been made a mess of minutes before I arrived.

Making a purchase here will usually be quick. A few occasions there has been a longer line than expected. Back-up is called in to help thin out the line, and it makes a world of difference to have two cashiers open.

Am from out of town (Arizona) and came for Funeral. Pharmacy was very helpful more than one time. Was out of medication and went to ER here in Long Beach area. Victoria, PharmD, was one of the most helpful I have ever dealt with and in time of need truly came through and went beyond normal duties to help me. She was compassionate, thorough and extremely professional and a true asset to Walgreens Corp. Thank you to all. You helped me more than you know.

Love this place. Simon at photo booth is always so friendly and Casey is always so patient and helpful. This is MY neighborhood store. A+
