Veterinary Angels Medical Center

We were recommended Veterinary Angels, and so we called to schedule our old ladies' euthanasia services. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Our oldest girl, Snickerdoodle, would usually be shaking and terrified at the vet's. Instead she napped on the couch and blankets they provided while we waited for the doctor and techs to get everything ready. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. They made a really difficult experience a little easier. It was the best that experience could have been. We are so grateful to everyone on staff for helping us say goodbye to our ladies and let them leave this earth with dignity. We highly recommend them and look forward to partnering with them for the health and care of our other fur babies.

Dr. Archie is the best! She is a very caring & compassionate veterinarian. You never feel rushed as she takes the time to listen to your concerns and will answer all of your questions. I highly recommend Veterinary Angels and Dr. Archie!

This vet was recommended to me by my sis who is a long time client. Our 10 yr old dwarf lionhead bunny started having issues rather suddenly. They see "exotic" animals here (for some reason rabbits are considered exotic) and we were able to get a same day appt, which we were grateful for. They also have a new client special - $50 off first office visit . We ended up waiting over an hour bc they were busy with another patient but the office manager did end up giving us 10% off the whole visit which was very appreciated. Dr Archie saw our old girl, did a thorough exam and gave her some pain and gas meds. But did explain that she is very very old and she didn't want to subject her to blood tests at this time. 4 days later our beloved bun did pass away. But I'm glad we took her to be checked and glad the vet was kind and compassionate and didn't try to gouge us.

They get me an appointment quickly. They save me money when they can. The people are really extraordinarily nice. I would use them all the time except it’s a 30 minute ride.

I must publicly thank the staff at Angles for being so kind and compassionate. They all helped me and my girls with our love, Koda, who we had to say goodbye to much too soon. I cannot express my gratitude enough. This was an awful time, and a devastating experience. The staff did everything to help make us feel as comforted as possible. Thank you. 🐾🐾

This is the second time we’ve used Veterinary Angels, and both times had an outstanding experience with the vets. This time we took our Yorkie in because she was itching uncontrollably. Dr. Hernandez was so thorough, kind and gentle with her and determined it was allergies. She gave her a shot and our little Gigi stopped itching within an hour. Also, both times we were able to see the vet within 24 hours of calling for an appointment. Highly recommend this vet!

This is a review long overdue. But after years of great result, I can assure you that your pet will get the best care by the doctor there.

After a few wrong diagnosis by different vets, Darlene correctly identified the problem my chinchilla had. She immediately performed some dental procedure for him, and he started to recover.

Later on, Darlene found her own company Veterinary Angels and moved far away from where I live. Nevertheless, I keep coming back for her excellent service. She helped me out off hours when my chinchilla got emergency. I think the reason my 12 years old chinchilla still healthy is largely credit to yearly check up with Darlene and sometime her colleague Dr. Yvette.

Darlene's passion for healing animals, friendliness to her clients, and persistent hard work to build her business are something I lookup to. Even Veterinary Angels Medical Center may not be close to where you live, but I assure you that it will worth your travel to take your pet there. Because you will receive excellent service at great price. Having the correct diagnosis and treatment done right in just a visit or two will save you money and time.

Me and my new guinea pig found everyone--from the front desk to the doctor--to be friendly, helpful and educational! Dr. Whitmore told me about a treat available at pet stores that supports piggies' urinary tracts, which I had never known about. Thank you!

This was the best veterinary experience I've ever had. The staff was caring, supportive and knowledgeable, and the sticker shock for treatment never happened. I was explained precisely what my pet needed and why, and the cost was absolutely commensurate with procedures.

Dr. Whitmore is a gem.

From calling to make an appointment when I got off work and being squeezed in last minute the same day (awesome front desk team!) to the professionalism exhibited by the staff and Dr. Whitmore, I can easily say I am a huge fan and would highly recommend Veterinary Angels to anyone. I felt like everyone cared about our cat Emmy and wanted to make sure we left without any questions or doubts, and advised us on the next steps to take. Also, as a side note, I did not realize that the Little Angels Project was affiliated with Veterinary Angels. We adopted our female tuxedo cat Turbo from them and she is definitely living her best life with us.

The front desk and Dr. Archie were so helpful in treating my red-eared slider. She has shell rot and I needed to know what to do from an expert instead of the Internet. Dr. Archie talked me through what was needed and showed me how to treat her at home. So immensely helpful! I recommend them highly!

I don't even know where to begin, I LOVE THIS VET, they are great. They are 1 of the few places that treat Avians (Birds). They saved my BUDGIES LIFE last year. I couldn't get in anywhere, I tried everyone & the ERs for animals. Well conveniently they don't treat Avians Bird species. We were in a really bad spot with my 9 yr old budgie, he wasn't going to make 4 days sometimes 2wks other places told me! I called Veterinary Angels, they were busy like everyone I called before. Yet they squeezed me in under an emergency visit, when hearing my situation. They were my last hope, I live in Ventura CA, so that tells u how serious I was to get him taken care of. They took him in within a reasonable time. Stabilized him & I felt so comfortable with them & their knowledgeable staff. I continued to drive there for his follow up care.
I can't thank them enough they aren't even a pet ER but they offer Emergency services & they are compassionate. They were my Veterinarian Angels that day, for me & my BUDGIE. Who's still here with me today, let them be your Veterinary Angels to your little Angel, our pet's need Guardian Angels to & this place & ppl are it!

Veterinary Angels are the best vet, hands down. I HIGHLY recommend this vet, especially if you have a rabbit. I drive a hour to bring my rabbits here because they absolutely love Dr. Archie, and she is an expert in their care. They offer the best solutions for your pet, but aren't judgemental if you decide against any procedures. Their prices are surprisingly low, too - each time I go, I don't feel like I paid an arm & a leg for my pet's care. They also REALLY care about your pet. For example, one time I was so worried about my rabbit's well-being that they watched over him for a couple hours to make sure he was okay. Another time, I called probably 4 times in one day because I was so worried, and they tried their best to fit me in quickly, and even asked Dr. Archie if it was an emergency situation to give me peace of mind.

Dr. Ferrer is a kind and compassionate veterinarian. She answered all my questions and was realistic about our Guinea pig, Peaches, illness situation. She understood our pain and took her time during our visit. Dr.Ferrer tried to save her life, but Peaches passed away the day after at home 😢🙏🏻They stayed 1 hr past closer to wait for Peaches to come out from anesthesia before I took her home. I appreciated that very much.
