Best Western Los Alamitos Inn & Suites

I have stayed here 4 times over 18 years. it is always a great experience. friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and so easy to access the attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with nice rooms. Got a lower level. Walked across the street for dinner at the Shenandoah.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice, shower hot with multifunction shower head. The pool was cool. the hot tub heater was out, but It was still warm from sun and jets worked. Location was convenient and quiet. No vending machines but a store right next door had everything I needed. 20-30 minutes to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.

We stopped in just for a quick one night stay and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent. Sanjay at the desk was very kind and warm even late in the evening. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good and the coffee was better than most. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly employees, they do have breakfast which is super convenient

I got to take an amazing bath that was such a nice relaxation. The employee who checked me in and out was super personable and very sweet.

this might be one of the only hotels I’ve been to that isn’t over run with a bunch of nefarious characters

The parking lot was sure close to full yet the only time I saw or heard any other guests was during the amazing breakfast that they have
Overall I’m probably making this my new favorite place for my relaxation days

Our 3-night stay was Wonderful! The front desk lady took very good care of our request for extra pillows and blankets! She even offered us bottled water and that was just above and beyond! Its the little things that really count and she was amazing! The location was quiet and felt safe. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was top-notch!

My plane was canceled 20 minutes before boarding was supposed to start. I quickly had to get my family a last minute hotel to sleep in. This was the only one with an affordable price and availability. When checking in the guy in the front desk was so kind. He asked about our day and I explained we'd be staying the night only and we'd leave early. He grabs lunch bags and allows us to grab breakfast in a to go bag. He pulls out muffins, fruit, and yogurt. He advised us to call the front desk before heading down there if we needed anything. The only downside is I think we got a smoking room. I was unaware those still existed but it smelled a bit bad. The front desk tried to help me get something else but they said it was all that was available. Overall would definitely stay here again for a last minute trip.

The stay I had Best Western Los Alamitos was a good experience. The room was nice, clean, and we stayed 4 days here. It has a pool, and a hot tub, which I used. The pool and hot tub were kept clean. Complimentary full breakfast, choice of breads, cereal, fruit, hot eggs, hot breakfast meat, other hot items, yogurt, juice, and coffee. It has the following amenities High-speed Internet access, Multilingual staff (English, Spanish, Hindi), Elevator, Ice/vending machines, Free parking, Fax services, Photocopy services, 24-hour front desk, Interior/Exterior corridor, Safe deposit box at front desk. Cable or satellite television, Mail services at front desk, Parking for the physically challenged
Complimentary newspaper in lobby. The rooms were kept clean and refreshed with towels, washcloths everyday. The staff here were nice ,helpful, and very courteous at all times. All positive review for the Best Western Los Alamitos. Will/would use this hotel again.

First time staying at a Best Western and I am happy I did so. Our room was ready before check in time and the room was very clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast included with our stay was great. Many varieties of breakfast foods to eat and very well cooked. Overall, the staff was super friendly, helpful and even offered us a complimentary late check out. Will be staying here again!

One year later we are back to the same place. This time I have a room that was not smoking and this time there was no odor at all, so I was happy about it. As always they have plenty of food at breakfast. Good service, we'll be back next year.

This was last year.
Most of all was fine. I asked for a no smoking room but when I got to my room there was some odor, so the lady from reception came to check out the room and she gave me a different room that it was much better, no odor. The problem that I have at night was since the door is missing the seal all around, you can see the light all night long and when the sun is up, you know it. Breakfast was fine, they kept refilling the trays so everyone can eat as much as you need. Cofe, tea and juice is available all day long. The other guests were fun to speak with. The parking lot had some beautiful cars. Lotus and Porsche the Grand Prix was in town. Every body was nice, friendly and helpful with all my questions. Overall it was a good experience.

As someone who appreciates great service & care, I definitely wanted to take the time to write a review. Specifically, to the nice lady at the counter (I wish I remembered her name) who made our stay enjoyable. Although, there was some bumps in the road with our door key not working a couple of times (no big deal for me) she made sure to get someone to work on it ASAP which I appreciated. Our room was very clean & tidy and was in a quiet location (compared to others who may be near the streets). The breakfast was decent, there was a mix of cold & hot breakfast. Overall, if I’m able to travel here with my family I would stay here again. Thank you Best Western for making our family vacation a good one to remember :)

Have stayed here many times over the years. It is close to relatives. We like that it is set back from the street buffering the noise of cars. Recently the rooms have been renovated and we were pleasantly surprised how nice they are. They have a breakfast area in lobby that I understand is being expanded and that should help with the small area for eating. But the breakfast is always very good. There is an elevator. And the hotel is close to restaurants and freeway access. Their parking lot can be a challenge but we have always found a place to park. May not be right outside your room but the parking is adequate and safe.

Rooms are very nice and well kept. Rooms with 2 Queen beds have a lot of space and the AC/heater unit are very strong and produce the desired temperature quickly. Bathroom is average size, it is quite difficult to have 2 people in there simultaneously, but the shower is big enough for 2 people. Room includes mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and flat screen TV. Microwave button is tricky, but the hotel desk will answer any questions you have.

Pool is okay, nothing special or extra extravagant - this area closes at 9 pm and is not a large area. A few tables and chairs are set up, but nothing else is offered with the pool.

Complimentary breakfast is wonderful and you can expect hot food, such as eggs (poached or hard-boiled), sausage, waffles, etc. There is free coffee, orange juice and apple juice and plenty of muffins, yogurt, and side dishes provided during breakfast. This is served until 10 or 10:30 am, so be mindful of the time you wake up.

Parking in this location is not the best setup. Spaces are compact and limited so if spaces are full, guests are instructed to park in the red zones, which is nice until all of those spaces get taken. Street parking is limited as well, so it may be necessary to walk if none of the mentioned spaces are available.

Overall, I would recommend this location/hotel since my stay was pleasant and no issues came up. I stayed for a family reunion event, so nightly costs were cheaper than the average nightly rate that the hotel offers.
