WoW!!! Haven't been to Gig Harbor in almost 2 years, when Fred Meyer was still at the old location. It's much bigger, has an ample selection of products. And I see a lot of old faces, (as far as employees go) if you get in Kevin's checkout line, just know your in good hands. He is AMAZING!! Great customer service, very fast and efficient and definitely knows how to properly bag groceries. Thanks Kevin. And looking good Gig Harbor Fred Meyer.

Are you gluten free?? Bfree is wonderful, tastes great, the pizza crust is really easy to use. Only 230 calories for 1/2 of the pizza crust. Lots of variety, new store is big and bright. Great selection of kombucha on tap, fresh baked breads. Bulk items, self check out, and gas station.

Great variety and store was easy to navigate. I'm a big fan of their pick up service.

10 times better than the ones in the big city, well stocked, clean, not worried about your vehicle getting stolen neither.

I’ve been going to this store for 4years always well stocked.
I’ve used pick up service as well there have been mistakes sometimes which is understandable(human error) and they were quick to fix it whenever I informed them and never had any issues with it.
The staffs are so helpful and kind and friendly. I have a 15month old and most of the time I’m trying get things as quickly as possible. One time I couldn’t find the rice cakes and was checking out one lady literally went to grab many different kinds of them for me I’m so grateful for her kindness!

As far as grocery stores in Gig Harbor go, this is the best one. I have shopped at them all. They rival Met Market on products and produce but kick it's butt in price. They are better priced than Safeway and have a better variety. Albertsons isn't any better than Safeway. While I like Harbor Greens their variety is lacking for major family shopping. Honestly, this store beats them all. It is confusing the first several trips because the layout of products in the aisles is done is a horrible way with similar products being in several different places at times. I use the app to find the aisle I'd I don't easily find what I want.

I travel several miles out of my way to shop at Fred Meyer. I have another major store a mile from my home, but it is worth the drive to shop at FM. Prices are considerably better, the shelves are stocked much better, and the FM staff is excellent! Try FM & compare!

The SUPER excellent staff at Fred Meyer not only held my extra large basket of groceries in the cooler while I ran to get my wallet 😬they also rescued the very expensive bottle of booze I abandoned in the basket as I drove away 🫣 They we’re waiting for me at the service counter with a smile when I drove back to the store for the third time about an hour later to retrieve it. THANK YOU Fred Meyer staff for going the extra mile and saving my day from total ruin. Your the best!!!

Very awesome store. Friendliest staff members. From the early morning hours to the moment they close they do everything to help you have a great shopping time.
I am a happy carnivore and am thankful for the meat department. They are always helpful and point out tips or recipes.

Renee is our favorite person who works here. Actually, she may be our favorite person anywhere. Some customers are very entitled, blocking entire aisles as they browse, refusing to move. Other customers will careen around corners, almost running people over, as if they are one of the many dangerous, oblivious drivers on the roads of Gig Harbor.

If you have ever seen a Gig Harbor driver floor it through the mound located in the middle of a notorious roundabout, shocks and struts bouncing in all directions as they stare blankly straight ahead, just know that those same people shop here. Be afraid. Or, better yet, make sure that your insurance policy is active and say hello to the nice lady as you limp to the checkout.

Fred Meyer is a good place to shop for an abundance of great fresh produce and other wonderful products and a lot of organic and vegan products too. The employees are very accommodating and helpful and eager to help and go beyond the norm just to make sure that your store experience is above satisfaction.

New modern shopping experience.
We enjoy shopping here and like the choice of organic produce and foods. I also buy gas here on ocassions where the price is lower compared to my two other places (Costco & Safeway).
The store is massive so a great many options and a nice one stop spot close to home.
The layout of the store takes some getting used to. There is an entire section for natural/organics, including frozen, cold. But the separation can make it a little confusing at first. Just a bit but I found staff very easy to find and very friendly and always have been able to tell me right away where to look/go. They each know the store layout -very helpful.

I think this is a really nice new, clean store, and I've always enjoyed the selection, pricing, variety and depth of product. This store just really does a great job. I also like the coupons I get in the mail as well as online, you can really save money! Just last week I saved over $28.00 with my rewards money and coupons. I think that's awesome. Thank you Fred Meyer!

The new store is clean, well stocked and wonderful! Nice wide aisles not easily blocked by neighborly chatting with a friend you see there!! Prices a little higher tan im used to but close to home beats driving another 10 miles for cheaper. Its a really great place to shop. Proud to have it here!!

Sterling is a key employee at Fred Meyer Gig Harbor location, seafood/meats department, positive, engaged, "can do " professional. Great employees like Sterling and great quality food will keep me coming back! Mark in Gig Harbor

This Fred Meyers is awesome store. I went in with a friend of mine tonight. It's absolutely amazing. The wine selection is out of this world. While you're selecting a wine. You can sit at the bar. Order a draft beer from the local breweries. That's right, I didn't say this wrong, bar. Then do your shopping. It's awesome. You have to shop here.

The cleanest, nicest Fred Meyer's I've been to (and I've been to all the ones in Tacoma). Even better, they carry items I'm constantly having to hop grocery store to grocery store looking for. One of my favorite places to shop!
