Metropolitan Market Gig Harbor

Metropolitan Market in Gig Harbor is a great place for fresh, delicious food in a clean and friendly environment. They have a wide variety of local and seasonal produce, as well as a deli with a wide selection of meats, cheeses, and prepared foods. The eating area is also great, with plenty of seating and a friendly staff. I highly recommend checking it out!

Best fried chicken sandwich in Gig Harbor.. Not sure who the competition is, but this one was super tasty. 😛

Another quick tip, their 50th anniversary Red Blend is on sale for $20 off, and apparently it is made by Mark Ryan cellars in Walla Walla. 🍷

Store looks pretty sweet. Love the ramen and poke bar. They also are supporting local and have Milk Vue donuts.

Seafood and meat displays are also on point.

Very friendly for vegan... good hit soup selections, fresh sushi, a deli, a hot food selection, an awesome cheese area, a ton of prepared meals to take and heat and to eat. Hot food and sandwiches made to order. Great options...

Stopped by on our way home. We have never been before and WOW!!! Such an impressive grocery store. Yes on the pricey side however beautiful displays, great selection of almost everything, Items I haven't seen elsewhere and beautiful produce.
We'll most definitely stop again when in the area.

Awesome met market. Not the biggest one, but big enough for whatever you need. Parking lot is spacious as well.

Wow. The food is beyond anything I have ever eaten. I cried over the coffee and the premade soup corn poblano was beyond satisfying, better than what I make at home. It had that extra pizazz. We are economical shoppers and decided to spend our money on the meat department, coffee, and produce. The meat is beautiful. I have never seen meat in this area as beautiful as they have at Metropolitan Market. And the produce is literally better than anywhere else, soo fresh I could hardly believe it. And the flowers are exquisite, almost unreal. We were hesitant in trying it, but we are soo glad we did and got a recommendation and they were right; the food and drink is astounding, a truly amazing masterpiece. We are from the Port Orchard area. And the customer service is wonderful and welcoming. God has satisfied my mouth with good things and my youth is renewed like the eagles with the food and drink from Metropolitan Market. I am so grateful you are in Gig Harbor. Thank you soo very much. My husband and I look forward to trying your hot food and salad bar, what a selection! Wow! A nice lunch or early dinner date option.

I get flowers for my girl on the regular and where you can save $$$ some where else you will be back to buy more before I will.

Let me say it again the flowers are so beautiful and last for weeks... So I save on trips to the store and buy less flowers and they also look amazing... win win win

Their floral department is amazing. They did my daughters flowers for her wedding this past weekend led by Rose and they were perfect!! She exceeded all of my expectations!!! Thank you Rose!

I love shopping here. I have been a frequent customer since their grand opening. Every single staff member is friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure you find what you are looking for. The store is organized and clean.
Lots of organic options in the produce section and throughout the store. A nice selection of kitchen tools and cookware as well.
Bathrooms are kept very clean and easily accessible.
This store has to be my favorite place to shop, in all of my years and in all of the cities I have lived in.

Love this store, so glad it’s here on this side of the bridge. Always well stocked.

I really appreciate how they give local vendors/farms an opportunity to sell their produce. They recently had a display of local garlic, several varieties. I bought a couple of each and it was outstanding. Of course the price may be a little higher than generic big box grocery produce but I am happy to spend a little extra to support local growers.

The store has a great selection and the staff are super friendly. We had many questions about the meats and the gentleman that helped us was so patient and kind and truly interested in helping us find what we want.
We also appreciate the strict enforcement of a mask policy. I am high risk and it is hard for me to feel safe in public. Thank you!

The 'Pathfinder' in store Merchandiser was very professional and really knew his product! After tasting the 'elixir', we are new converts and will be buying this excellent non-alcoholic aromatic spirit. Cheers!

I went in today to get the Ramen (which is delicious!) but Gage sold me on the pad Thai noodle pot… and it did not disappoint! Love the ease of grabbing lunch real quick, always friendly staff and great food!

Great produce, love their soups and other ready-to-eat items, and the staff is always friendly. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but worth it.

Metropolitan market is brand new here in Gig harbor, and our experience was we were blown away at how beautiful it was inside, the food and groceries were all fresh and looked very appealing to the eye! We enjoyed just the ambiance and we are so excited to have a new favorite market to go to !

Very friendly staff that is willing to help and let you sample some food before you buy it. Very well stocked on the products they carry.

Love this place. Especially Vic. He was kind, courteous, and eagerly went above and beyond expectations making a Pad Thai for me when he was nearly done and could have easily turned me away.
