My mom and I called in for an appointment and we walked out looking absolutely FABULOUS! We both have wacky nail beds and bad luck when getting our nails done, but we walked out of here with FANTASTIC NAILS (I have the pink coffin nails and my mom has the pink and gold rounded square nails).

Star nails is not a walk in salon, you need to call ahead of time and make an appointment which is so nice! You get to be 1 on 1 with your nail tech which I have never experienced before!

We are so happy with the results, Chita is so sweet, and she just got two customers for life. We are never going anywhere else! Her vibes are amazing, she was using techniques I’ve never seen before, her array of polishes is AMAZING, and she even let us pick a movie to watch on the TV while we were getting our nails done! Overall an amazing experience, best salon I’ve ever been to!

I love coming to Star nails! She always has the best newest colors and I always get lots of compliments on my nails! She will also fix any broken nail speedy quick. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to get some really pretty nails!

Highly recommend Star Nails in Puyallup! My nails were extremely clean and perfect when she got done, felt like I had my own personal nail tech, comfortable, and clean environment. Private and did get rushed out at all, took her time like they were her own nails, even had a great convo! First time customer, life long client/friend kind of a vibe for sure. Can't find a better selection of colors, designs and techniques for such a great price. Just really relieved I don't have to search for a nice place to get my nails done every month ☺

Called and made a super last minute appointment and she was able to fit me in. I showed her a reference picture and she matched it perfectly. She said that she works by herself, and she's been doing nails for 20 years, which definitely shows. I will absolutely be returning.

I love Star Nails! She has a great selection of colors and she always shapes my nails perfectly. It’s also really nice to be the only customer and I never have to wait because she works by appointment only. Good pricing and great quality work :)

This was absolutely hands down the best nail salon I have been to in a very long time! Chita took her time and we chatted the whole time. She keeps her salon locked but don’t be put off by it. I felt safe and pampered. Who doesn’t want that?!

I was referred to Chita by a coworker.
My previous set was a disaster, I had them done at Princess nails in Tacoma ... Chita got me in the same day. Not only did Chita save my natural nails from the previous nail damage but also identified a fungus and took the time out to educate me & medicate my nails. We are now fungus free & pretty as ever!!!

I came from Salem, Oregon to visit my cousin and I got my nails filled here. It has been a month and so and my nails are strong with no chips and still on! She did such a great job that I came back to get a fill from her again. I would definitely recommend her. ❤

I had gotten my nails done (full set acrylics) while I was out of town on a trip, and they did a kind of rough job. I came in to see Chita at Star Nails for a fill, and she took great care of me. She is very attentive to detail, made sure to file down the excess of acrylic powder from the out of town spa, made sure all of my nails were even, helped me find the perfect color, and took her time making sure everything looked great. All the while also being a great convorsaror. She made sure after that I also loved them, and I do! I came in and got exactly what I wanted! I will be going back to see Chita for my nails again, and I definitely recommend you do the same!

Amazing service and very good pricing. This is the first place to do my 5 y/o daughters gel polish and it be neat and tidy, it’s also lasted her a long time. Most places they just come right off. She is a perfectionist and took her time to cater to each of my nails until they were perfected. I got the new gel nail tips and I would 100% recommend they are more expensive but they last so long! If I had regular acrylics I’m sure I would of broken Atleast 3 by now but these are great. Me and my daughter found a new go to spot and I’ve lived in puyallup for years. I would choose this place over each salon I’ve been too within a 10 mile radius. Make sure to schedule in advance or be prepared to wait extended times as she works alone and tends very well to each customer.

Chita is amazing! She took her time and did my nails, fixed my broken nails , did a pedicure and wax ...on a Sunday! She is the sole owner and operator so be sure to make an appointment and don't be upset if you come by and she's busy.. Because you really do get one on one treatment and its so worth it!!

Chita was very accommodating and we had a great conversation while she did my nails. She did a great job and also shared her knowledge with me. Love that! Prices were reasonable.
