This was truly one of the best experiences my wife and I have had at a Italian restaurant anywhere. Jason our waiter was patient and just one of best I have seen at selling the best dish and putting the taste in your mouth before it even arrived to our table.

All four adults in our party loved our dishes, service and ambience of the little restaurant. Will definitely go back there and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a divine Italian dinner and with good prices as well!

After a long hard work day, this restaurant really hit the spot. Three of us enjoyed three different entrees. All the food exceeded our expectations. They have a good, complimentary wine selection. The service was fantastic. This is a locally owned family business, that is worth visiting.

Great food, great atmosphere and the best part was the service. Jason our very professional yet personable server made the dining experience go from 4 to 5 stars. He was patient and accommodating to our table and especially my very difficult-to-please Mother. The atmosphere was amazing and all courses were delicious. Everything ordered by our party of four was delicious and the chef provided an experience you could tell was derived from some old family recipes with a touch of creativity. We arrived at just before 8PM and left at 10PM which I might add is an hour after they close. We were never rushed and Jason was again patient and friendly until the end. My wife and I have a new favorite Italian spot in the Tacoma area and we'll be back to try the NY Strip Stroganoff!

This little Hidden Gem is tucked away on Bridgeport. If you want an elegant and romantic evening this is definitely your spot. With so many Big Chain Italian restaurants it is very refreshing to go to a place that's a little Slice of Italy right here in University Place.
I have dined here on several occasions... Everything is superb. Everything from the appetizers, wine list, entrees and desserts- perfect!
They have a little hidden Courtyard off the back that is absolutely divine! It's perfect for a larger group- maybe a girls night out or after hours.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed. If you have not dined here I highly recommend that you give it a try.

My family has made a habit of coming here because of both the amazing service and even better food. Like any truly Italian restaurant, this is the place to go when you want to take your time and have a relaxing, delicious meal with friends or family. The menu is small, but you can't go wrong with anything on there (my personal favorite is the bolognese), and the wine selection is hand picked, varying depending on vintage. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Tacoma.

This inside of this quaint and charming Italian restaurant is nicely decorated. I felt very relaxed and at home because of the very clean and friendly environment there. Rebecca is one of the nicest and most thoughtful servers you'll ever come across. The espresso and tiramisu that I had were excellent as can be. My two friends had lunch and they loved it. This is definitely a gem of University Place.

We came here for a family meal this past Saturday night 3/25.
This was the very best Italian food I have ever tasted!! The owners Ken and Kim Grassi are the best! Don't miss out on the sour cream lemon pie as well. I can't wait for my next visit.

GRASSI'S is a great place to meet for lunch. They not only have great food, atmosphere, and prices, they also have a conference room that seats 30. My graduating class of 65 meet there every couple months for lunch. We LOVE it there. And our waiter, Jason, is The Best!!!

Very authentic food. Great service and helpful staff. The restaurant was well kept and clean. The food was timely. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were passing through but would definitely eat here again.

What a great way to spend an Anniversary. Got in there just after opening and was greeted by Jason who waited on us the entire time. Jason was pleasant, upbeat and and joy to be around. Had steak over pasta and Carbonara which is honestly to die for. Dishes were fresh, more than a serving full and worth coming back for. The atmosphere is warm with italian music in the background. They also have a back area partially outsude that we will be trying this summer. The prices were exactly what we were hoping for! Overall, a solid 5/5, you won't be dissapointed. Thanks again to Jason for a wonderful experience.

What a lovely experience! The food was so fresh, friendliest waitstaff, and super cute ambiance in this family owned establishment. Huge pastry/dessert selection, too! Would recommend to anyone.

Among the best Italian food in the Greater Tacoma area right here in University Place. My fiancé and I love this place. There is a lovely little courtyard outside in the back where you can eat your meal during the warmer months. It's a great spot to take your sweetheart for a romantic meal on Valentine's Day, your anniversary, her birthday or just any old day lol ;)

This was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. The fig and prosciutto piadina was amazing, the risotto is delicious, and I can't go here without getting a slice of sour cream lemon pie.

Have dined here with family and friends several times. The cherry tomato bruschetta is a meal in itself and scrumptious! Their desserts are to die for. Will definitely be back for more.

Wonderful from start to finish. Fantastic service (thank you, Jason), amazing authentic food, wonderful atmosphere. Will absolutely be returning, bringing the whole family next time!

Love, love, love the Grassi family of businesses. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the flower shop is one of the best in town. The catering services provided by Grassi's is top-notch!

Hands down the best italian restaurant in the state guaranteed. Bit pricy, but all worth it. Perfect place for a lunch or dinner with someone very special.

Excellent food and service. The meat sauce on any dish is a must. Wild mushrom & pancetta carbonara was fabulous too. Jason was very helpful & courteous
