Elise did an amazing job for me selling my home. I am a single mom and when I sold I needed help getting my house ready and she took care of everything! She had my deck painted as well as one of my bedrooms and she hired a packing company to help me pack away some of the clutter to get the house ready for staging! We almost bought a home in Olympia that has a bad well. We should have walked away the moment we saw on the owner's disclosure form a "no " answer on year round potable water.

We tried to get answers, and were led to believe by Elise Gregg that the well was okay.

But after talking to the city of Olympia and finding that the owners had inquired about connecting to city water, after taking to a neighbor and being informed that there had been water problems for years (and why the owners weren't living in the property), after having a 35- year experienced driller call me back and let me know it was a lousy well...In the end, after a ton of research, we found out that this 1941 well was 3 inches in diameter, but someone then pushed tubing down through it, making it smaller. Plus, it is pulling sand, sediment, and high levels of iron. Thus, the flecks and particles clog the pump resulting in parts or even the pump needing constant replacement. In addition, the filtration system clogs as well, so you can't use the water while you are back washing, changing, or cleaning the filter.

Elise Gregg spoke down to our realtor. She yelled at him, the lender, and others when she was finally caught in her disingenuous charade.

She threatened to take the lending company to court, simply because the underwriter protected a VA client from the fraud of a well that cannot provide "clean and continuous water " which the VA clearly states as a requirement for a VA loan.

Just one test saying there is no bacteria in the water, or that a well can pump X amount of water during a one hour test, does not mean there are not other factors that make it an unhealthy or unusable well.

The bottom line is that Elise Gregg knew it was a poorly functioning well and hid the fact. In the realtor world, some might commend her even for helping her client.

But to rant at, yell at, and threaten another agent and the lender because you were caught in your deceit is unprofessional, unethical, and unfounded.
