Kasai Hair

First time in the chair with Kasai. Finally happy with a stylist after trying many salons throughout LA over the last 3 years. He’s very straight to the point, which I appreciate. The hair cut from wash to dry took about 45 minutes…quickest haircut of my life but I’ve never been happier. I showed him 3 reference photos and after a few suggestions from him on how to adapt the cut to me, he started the process. Immediately booked a 4 month touch up appointment which is something I never do. Cost of the cut (women’s) was $140. Not including tip. Absolutely worth it.

Jun is the best hair designer I’ve ever met! He exudes professionalism and is also a kind soul.

They have an excellent selection of products, and knowledge to back them up.

Is it worth flying back to LA from Boston for a haircut?
Why YES, yes it is!!

I loved being at Kasai's. Jenny was being super nice and very customer oriented. She easily understood what I was looking for. She was very helpful as a local tourguide, giving me hints for visits on my last day in the LA area 😉

I don't often leave reviews, usually just if my experience was REALLY good or REALLY bad- and this time, I'm happy to say it was REALLY good!!! First of all, they were able to get me in at the last minute, the same day I called. I went in for a cut and color, but the color I wanted was a little unusual (dark purple). They didn't have it, but actually went out of their way to hunt down blue and pink so they could make me the exact color I wanted. And although I will say that the color didn't come out at all like I expected (I had some lingering green in my hair that canceled out a lot of the pink), I still LOVE IT!!! Its like a dark periwinkle color, super unusual, really cool and absolutely gorgeous! And then the cut. I have never in my life had a haircut this great. Seriously- Kasai is a haircutting ninja! He is AMAZING! I love love love my hair, and on top of excellent results, I was also very impressed by how friendly and helpful the entire staff was. FIRST CLASS service, all the way around! I will definitely be back, any time I need my hair done I know where I'll be going. Do yourself a favor and give them a try- you will not be disappointed!!!!!

I've been a client of Kasai's for years and have always been impressed by the quality of the stylists and colorists. Most have traded high end Beverly Hills salons for a more relaxed Manhattan Beach feel and the prices reflect the difference as well. No more 200-500 dollar cuts! They are also open Sundays which makes it easy to book for everyone.

I've experienced many salons and this is one of the very best in terms of talent, quality, results. I drive 45 mins from Beverly Hills to have my haircut here. Jun and Kasai are that good. Parking is very easy and the salon is a clean, relaxing and pampering experience.

Have gone to Kasai for 2 yrs now and always had great service. Everyone is friendly and most professional. Highly recommend their service and products. Get pampered and enjoy the beach setting.

Der Besuch bei Kasai war ein Zufallstreffer, er selbst hat mir die Haare geschnitten. Mein absolut professionellster und bester Haircut ever. Empfand die Atmosphäre in dem dezent styl-ischen Salon sehr entspannt. Schade dass mich ein regelmäßiger Besuch 11:40h Flugzeit und 1 Stunde Fahrzeit kosten würde ;)
