The plates are bigger I ate “Combination Lo Mein” (chicken, shrimp and beef I added broccoli ) and I just can say it’s so delicious!!! I’m definitely I’m going to come back ☺👌🏻💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

All the dishes I've had have been delicious and well portioned.
The best thing about this place is they sell an egg fried rice which is about the same price as their steamed rice. Seems like most Chinese places I've tried in America sell egg fried rice as if it's an entree and charge at least $8 for it.

Our new family favorite. The Wor Wonton soup Is delicious . When your in the mood for soup this is the order. The flavor of the broth is like no other. Enjoy

We have been looking for a good old fashioned Chinese restaurant like the ones we used to eat at when we were growing up. Those of you who grew up in Boyle Heights and East LA might remember the New Formosa café before the owners closed up shop in early 2000’s. Then Paul’s Kitchen in Monterey Park. They closed maybe 10yrs or less ago. I grew up with their delicious dishes. Now in San Gabriel Valley you think I could find at least an average Chinese restaurant well we haven’t.
Today I went to Google to find a well rated Chinese restaurant. We discovered Grandview Palace. It’s rated 4.3 Stars of 5. Well let me bend your ear for a bit. The food here is DELICIOUS!! My family just loved it. We definitely will be ordering from here again. I usually don’t eat or enjoy the Mongolian beef that my husband and son love. Let me tell you I couldn’t avoid tasting the dish. It was so good I made sure to serve some on my plate. We got a little bit of everything so that we can gage the taste of everything that I know my family likes. I should say Loves!! The Lo Mein was just as delicious but when it came to the Egg Foo Young OMG, we finally had some that tasted like what we ate before at the other restaurants that no longer exist. I have included pics of the dishes but we couldn’t hold off eating the food before all of the pics were taken. Don’t let me forget to tell you that the pork egg rolls were the bomb. I'm so glad for all those of you who rated this restaurant so well so that I could try it. Thank you Google.

So we live in the Pasadena area and thought we'd give this place a try since we are looking for a great chinese location and that could be a hit or miss, well this place did not disappoint! I thought it was delicious every dish the only regret I have is not ordering there Orange Chicken dish! I will definitely be back and looking forward to it.

My go to for Chinese food. The Kung pao string beans are amazing and always delicious. Green beans cooked perfect. Always friendly service. Have only used take out so cannot comment on indoor dining. Love Grandview Palace

Good basic Chinese food, no bells and whistles, yet fast service, hot food, large portions, very reasonable prices, and even a special lunch special menu.

Great little Chinese hole-in-the-wall in Old Town Pas. Love the Budha's Delight, mixed with carrots, cabage, snap peas, bamboo shoots, broccoli, and mushrooms. Orange peel chicken was my kid's favorite. Salt and pepper pork chops were good, but they were a bit too salty for me. Black pepper steak was tender and served on a hot sizzling plate. String beans were well done and delicious. Beef chow fun was done just right with enough onions, bean sprouts, and scallions. The best of all, the price is right! Still very affordable! Go here before prices go up!

This is one of the hidden gems in Pasadena. Love this place a lot. We came here often, but sadly we moved out of the area. This is classic American style Chinese food done right.
The service is so great. We became fast friends with the workers there. You get seated fast and your food comes in fresh. Our all time favorite is the orange chicken with real pieces of orange, bbq fried rice, wor wonton soup, and the crispy rice chicken soup.
When it’s too crowded at other big restaurants with a wait time of 2 hours you can always count on this place to seat you right away.
We even booked this place for my son’s 2nd birthday. They really made his birthday special. Thank you so much. When we come back to Pasadena we will definitely stop by and eat. Definitely don’t sleep on this place and order the Grandview special chicken for a peppery spicy kick that is just right.

I typically only order 2 or 3 different things when I have lunch at Grandview Palace, but they are consistently tasty. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable, particularly considering the location.

Best Kung Pao combination (shrimp, chicken and beef) I ever had. The quality of the ingredients was top notch and it was a lot of food for a very reasonable price.

Reasonably priced good Chinese meal. I have the combination Kung Pao every time I go now. Not fancy, but my go to Chinese restaurant in the area

Oh my god I love their food!! I'm a vegetarian and I love the veggie pan fried noodles and fried rice. It's the best chinese food I have ever had. The staff is always polite, courteous and friendly. It's so good I travel 20-30 mins just for their yummy food!

Yummy Americanized Chinese food place. Very affordable, each menu item has a large serving size to share with the table. Excellent service.

Amazing. By far the best service and Chinese food I've had in a while. We arrived right before closing, which working in the service industry myself I hate doing. However, the staff was super friendly and helpful and did not rush us at all. The food arrived quickly and you could tell just by looking at it that it was fresh and delicious. If you are looking for an excellent meal with amazing service and reasonable price, this is the place. We will be back for sure!

My family has been going here for years. The food is always delicious and the service is great. Even my son how doesn't particularly like Chinese food enjoys the food here. We love the fried rice and mongolian beef.

Really good flavorful and delicious Chinese food. Nice to sit down and have hot, fresh food. Takeout was getting old. Kung Pao Tofu was stellar, cho fun really good. All great. Even the fortune was on point!
