Dough Box Deep Dish & Pan Pizza

The wait was about 40 minutes for a walk-in. Decent price! Good crust, sauce and a very generous layer of cheese at the bottom. Never tried deep-dish pizza before, but this left a good impression

I’ve always wanted to try Chicago style deep dish pizza and Dough Box did not disappoint. It’s also great to have a different pizza option while they’re here in highland park. I ordered a medium York and it took about 45mins to make. I was a walk up so order ahead. It was super delicious great sauce and ingredients! Definitely, try this out.

Finally got to try this place and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the York and added basil and cherry peppers to it, got the large deep dish because of course you want to have leftovers! Initially we were going to wait until we got home to try it but it was just two irresistible so we each had a slice in the car in front of the shop! The tomato sauce was divine and there's just enough cheese to give you the poll but not make you feel super heavy afterwards! The crust is truly the best, stayed dry and crispy, not soggy at all! Excited for the leftovers tomorrow if we don't finish it all tonight!

OMG I love this place. Staff was super friendly, space is clean. The sauce was sweet, the crust held up and the price was very fair for what I got. I picked it up and took it home - 30 mins after pickup the crust still held up well. My favorite deep dish in LA.

The York and the Soto were delicious. The pepperoni and sausage on the York yummy. The churro donut I'll pass next time but the pizza is delicious.

I’ve had this place on my list for a while and decided now is the time to try it. I was not disappointed.

The Dough is amazingly good and the toppings are top notch quality. I’ve had pan pizzas from Dough Box twice in one week now.

There side salads are good too.
The deep dish Chicago style pizza is insane here! Best in LA. I’ve tried it in Chi town and was in love with it and Dough Box LA deep dish is outta here amazing!

They also have thin crust pizza for people who like that.

The decor and designs are really cool and hip. Staff are friendly as hell too.

Highly recommended to become your go to pizza place! It is my go to place now! Drove from Burbank yesterday for a taste of that magic!

Best deep dish you can get in So Cal. Reminds me of the pies in Chicago, very fresh tomato sauce. I ordered the The York (Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage) and added garlic. The parking is limited and the wait is long (45-60mins), it's deep dish after all, but it's definitely worth it. I would recommend calling ahead and placing the order.

I've tasted legendary deep dish pizza from Chicago. Dough Box is the real deal and can easily compete with Chicago's best. I dare say they might even steal the 👑 crown. Taste and see for yourself.

We order from Doughbox pretty much on a weekly basis. They have awesome deep dish that competes aggressively with Chicago style pizzas--and as someone raised in a CHICAGO, I think Doughbox deep dish is better than anything I had in Chicago! Their pan pizza is also very good--same dough as deep dish just a much thinner version. They have delicious thin crust once a week on Tuesdays for $10--you can't beat that.

Customer service is also top notch. You can order by phone during business hours but we usually order via email before they open to ensure early delivery--they get pretty busy. One of my favorite pizza delivery options ever--including options I've had living in NYC for 18 years!

Best “Chicago” style pizza. Even better than many places in Chicago.

Amazing deep dish pizza for a great price. The dough is buttery and surprisingly resist a good amount of sogginess. Toppings are good. The cheese is very stringy in a good way to give that cheese pull. Of course this deep dish is done right by placing the sauce on top of everything. The sauce is very light and fruity, very little acidity. Friendly staff. Takes about the normal time for a deep dish pizza. Only complaint, but not much one can do about it is the parking

I have been looking for great pizza in L.A. for 4 years and now I have found it at Dough Box. Born and raised in Chicago, I'm a good judge of Chicago style deep dish pizza, and Dough Box has hit the mark. I highly recommend Dough Box for any pizza lover, you will not be disappointed. And when I say pizza, I'm not talking the grease-dripping, flavorless, droopy-foldable crust pizza known as New York style, I'm talking a real honest to goodness Chicago pizza!! If you don't know what I'm talking about then you'll want to try this pizza. If you know what I'm talking about, then you'll want to try this pizza. It does not disappoint!

Love dough box. We have been trying different deep dish in the area and so far dough box has been my favorite. The sauce is so flavorful and the crust stays in tact you can easily pick up a piece of the chicago deep dish and enjoy it. It’s so good. We got the York and I wish it had more sausage. If I could order again I would get the Yorker, deep dish style with extra sausage.

A hidden gem that makes an incredible pie. I'd venture to say that it's the best deep dish pizza in Los Angeles. I'm very normally a bigger fan of New York style pizza but this is such a perfect indulgence. All the ingredients taste top quality. Call in your order and give it about an hour if you're picking up. Then, enjoy!

WOW I'd heard great things about Dough Box Pizza & Bread, but you have to come to understand the reviews. The crust is perfection. It's thin, but not too thin or doughy. I had a slice of the Margarita and it had great flavor. The cheesy pizza is also tasty. They use fresh ingredients and the staff is friendly. if i could i will add one more star ******

Seriously lived to to the hype. Can't say that for most pizza in LA. The sauce was delicious. I love whatever tomatoes they're using in there. The dough is unique and had some crunch. The deep dish slices hold together surprisingly well, and the cheese was great.
We ordered the York since I usually do pepperoni, but the sausage was the star of the show.

Basically, this is quality all around.

Hands down the best deep dish pizza. Try finding better...I dare you! Seriously this pizza is made with love. I always get the Figueroa but whichever you decide on will be great. House made crust, sauce and ricotta cheese! My only constructive criticism would be better parmasean cheese that isn't the packet type.

Is Deep dish pizza really pizza? Well, if you love tons of cheese you’ll enjoy it. It’s one of those things that you’ll have every once in a while because of how full you are after you’re done. Definitely don’t plan on performing any strenuous activity after eating here.

They're absolutely phenomenal. The Broadway with basil is my go to (although I've had many of their fine offerings and can attest to their deliciousness) and I would highly recommend for when you're feeling pizza but looking for something out of the ordinary.

Picked up a couple pies from this place last night, absolutely amazing. Will be back for more!
