Tim is awesome! I went by this dealership with the intent to lot-hop, looking specifically for an older Toyota Camry or Corolla, and while he didn't have one on the lot that day, it turned out he had just gotten one that was at the car wash getting detailed. Tim called me when it was ready for sale and it was a great experience. This car is exactly what I was looking for and it's in great condition for a 96 Camry.
I went to a couple other used dealerships the week before and Tim is way more genuine than those other guys. He's very straightforward and you can tell he cares about his dealership. I definitely recommend checking out his lot if you're looking for a used car!

I was interested in getting a compact car to drive around so I went looking online for a few weeks. I came into Del Mar Auto LLC with my girlfriend and brother and walked around the lot of the dealership, no one approached us until we walked past the office and he ran out to greet us.

I originally wanted different car, but once that didn't work out, Tim offered us different options and really knew his facts - how much the price would be will depend on my down payment and not my credit. And I don’t have that great credit history but he made it simple and easy to understand.

We spent 2 hours at the dealership total, and Tim was extremely patient and helpful. He offered many different options and was very open to letting us see and test-drive multiple cars. Since it was a big purchase for me I had to think long and hard, but it seemed like Tim didn't mind. Definitely wasn't pushy!

Once we decided on the car, Tim had us sit and start the paperwork.
Overall, the dealership was great. Nice location, nice atmosphere and complete customer satisfaction.

Definitely don't regret buying my car here! And you should check it out. I am also a veteran and he served me with honor and dignity never pushing for the sale and that is why I decided to purchase a used car from Del Mar Auto LLC!

I have no idea what Chris is talking about below, Tim is the most helpful STRAIGHT FORWARD car salesman that I have ever dealt with, and I have purchased many cars in my lifetime. He was a pleasure to work with and even waited for us on mother's day to come and check out the car, we loved the car and were allowed to put down a deposit for him to hold the car for us! So convenient. Tim was so personable and made the entire experience really easy! I would buy another car from him in a heartbeat. He stayed to let us look at the car more than an hour after the dealership was already closed, and was not pushy at all! Allowed us to take our time roaming the lot looking for the "perfect" car for my husband. We had a small issue after the car was purchased and Tim was more than accommodating! For anyone that says that Tim is not a pleasant person to work with, they must have not spoken to Tim! Del Mar Auto receives an A+++ from us on the customer service! Thanks again Tim and we will be back to purchase and SUV!

I had an incredible super positive experience with Del Mar Auto. I was very skeptical to purchase my car with a dealer, since last time I felt they took advantage of me and persuaded me to get a leased car, but with Del Mar Auto, everything went super smooth. From the car sales people, who were not pushy at all to Tim, the manager. I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Tim was able to work a payment schedule that I could afford and also made me a "member of the Club". Rudy detailed my car while the paperwork was being worked out and he also washed my car a few weeks later when I stopped by to say 'Hello'!

Fantastic! I purchased a car here...with and for my daughter. It was nice because this dealership had both foreign and domestic clean cars! Tim, the salesman that helped us was knowledgeable and not aggressive. He only showed us cars that fit our budget and need. I was certain this process would be grueling... it was pretty quick though we were in and out in less than an hour. Looking forward to purchasing another car from these guys and will definitely refer friends!

My daughter and I arrived in Venice ( after driving a rented Moving Van cross-country) and she needed to purchase a used vehicle. We visited many Dealers until we found Del mar where outstanding knowledge, honesty and friendliness were refreshing. Emil and Tim helped us find the affordable right car for her, along with a warranty. The next day after purchasing the car the battery was low , we called Emile and Tim and a new battery was installed without hesitation.. There's been a few times that my daughter has been back to Del mar for advise and they continue to be helpful.

I don't live in California, but if I were to purchase a used vehicle I would buy it from Del mar and drive it back home…it's worth it!

Took a chance and purchased a pickup over the phone that Tim advertised on CL, then flew into LAX from Nashville to get it. Tim picked me up at the airport. The pickup was just as described..drove it back to TN...my daughter loves it. Bought another pickup while I was there for my son. It needed some mechanical work so Tim made us a great deal on it AND handled getting it shipped to TN...arrived in GC. I would HIGHLY recommend doing business with Tim/Del Mar....very straight-forward and easy to do business with.

So......

I was in the market shopping for a reliable used car for my son. My niece suggested that I go to the car dealer that she bought her pre-owned car from in Santa Monica. We took her advice but we weren't able to find the lot. As luck would have it we 'stumbled' upon Del Mar Auto and Tim Mancini. After taking a look at the cars at Del Mar, I was surprised to see such great deals and awesome cars. Needless to say, I ended up buying myself a pre-owned 2003 Lexus ES300 with low mileage. This car is PERFECT and one of my best buys!

Tim and the guys are extremely friendly and were willing to work with me. Del Mar Auto is the perfect place too purchase a used car. The service I receive is always superb and because of this I referred a few friends!

What happened to my son getting a car? Well, he is driving my Maxima until he saves his money to buy a car from Tim.

Del Mar Auto LLC, is one of, if not the best, used car lots in So Cal.

Overall good experience here. They had the car I wanted for a good price and financed me with half down and no credit check. Tim was a little brusque with another person on the lot that was that kept asking dumb questions. I did my research first so I didn't have to ask stupid questions. Great selection and good prices too

I know tim, bought a nice clean xj8, tim is a no non sense car mover..if you like a car and you have money..he'll go out his way to make it happen. Its been my experience that he'll sell you a good car.
