We were here with good friends today for 12:00 Lunch. Our server was friendly, pleasant, and attentive. We loved the the Italian atmosphere. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, clams, and another dish. Everyone loved their dishes. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce is delicious and the homemade meatballs were excellence’. Highly recommend! We will come back soon. Thank you Lucano for an excellent dining experience by all.😋😋😋

Awesome pizza. I've eaten there before. Wish they would start doing Risotto again. It was great with enormous flavor. Service was awesome 👌

Great, authentic Italian food.  Service was wonderful!  We had the Ravioli with pesto cream sauce and the Linguini Pescatore.   Prices are a bit on the steep side.  They do add a 3% service charge if you use a credit card, so that’s not so great.  They don’t take reservations, so come early to get a table.

Homey environment with great food! The staff were attentive and kind. The hostess was quick to get us back (we did not have a reservation and were sat immediately).

We started with a glass of the house red blend (this was a great wine - good bite and warm undertones that paired very well with dinner), bruschetta appetizer (SO flavorful, the tomatoes were ripe and had a nice tart bite mixed with a balsamic sweet glaze on warm toast-like bread).

We bought 2 entrees - the penne rosemary pasta and a prosciutto pizza. The pizza did not disappoint (we were cautious as another pizza place in town wasn’t what we were hoping for) and the rosemary penne pasta was incredibly yummy (thick, creamy white sauce with hints of garlic and rosemary, chunks of Italian sausage and healthy portion of tangy sun dried tomatoes). We split a pistachio/chocolate gelato cup - it was more frozen than creamy so I’d probably opt out of that the next time we come.

Overall - I gave our experience 5 stars as I wouldn’t change anything. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, the portion sizes were generous, the wine was tasty, and I thought the staff was on it.

Very cool restraunt. I absolutely loved the ambiance. I felt like I was in little Italy. The bread they give to you before your meal is really good. I had the Penne Lacano, and my wife had the ravioli. I love penne and sausage, so it made me so happy to finally find a restaurant that has a dish with them both. My wife loved the ravioli. I would say this place is awesome and delicious. The complaint is that it's expensive, but it's expensive for a reason!

A very peaceful, very clean, very authentic Italian experience. The ambiance was relaxing. Had a few boys in the back talking aloud reminding me of my days in New York. I love the entirety of this establishment. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience. I forgot the most important thing, The food is worth coming back for again and again.

I was in town for vacation and saw the sign on SR16. Came in at an off time (between lunch and supper)

Amazing!! Menu stated that everything was made to order and they followed through on it.

My waitress Ciprian (great name - probably misspelled it 🤷‍♀) totally on her game and very attentive.

The Penne Quattro Formaggi was beyond yummy. If the penne was from a box (which I don’t think it was) was absolutely perfectly cooked.

My husband and I went to IL Lucano to celebrate his retirement. The food was outstanding! The service was great! We got dessert to go, to continue our celebration at home! This was our second visit to the restaurant, and will be back for sure!

We went here with my cousin Trina and Sterling and it was over the top great. The food was full of flavor, the menu was focused and detailed. The seafood was fresh and tender and prepared 100% correctly. The pasta was fresh and the sauce divine. Egg plant parm to die for and the salmon seemed like it had jumped on the plate it was so fresh.
Great wine selection and the ice tea was strong and fresh. The owners are a delight, service efficient and accurate, and the atmosphere relaxed and not at all hurried. We loved it and you can't go wrong at an authentic establishment. A GR8 place! Dan

Visited with my nephew on our birthday. Was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, our waiter was so sweet and accommodating, and the price was quite reasonable for both the amount and quality of food we received. Will absolutely go back.

Lovely restaurant, service was excellent. Food is great. Atmosphere is cozy. I had the Grilled Lamd Ribs, and they were tender. I opted for the the cream sauce instead of the menu option. Was very good the way I had it.

Been looking for decent Italian for a long time in this town. This place is Very good. Food creative and well done. Desserts creative and delicious.
Service excellent. Bummer you have to come early, or the wait can be frustrating, but worth it.

We made a reservation, which was very smart, because we still had to wait a little. Perfect for date night. A little pricey, but you are paying for quality. I normally don't like red sauce but now I'm thinking it's been I've never had legit Italian food before. The owner is super present and super Italian and it's great. Loved it all.

Love the atmosphere, the food. You are always greeted by the owner and he rounds on tables to make sure everything goes smoothly!

Update:
I took my son out on a mom son date. He loved the cheese ravioli and he also had part of my manicotti. I never regret coming to this restaurant! It is ways a big hit!

The whole vibe was amazing! We live in gig harbor for 5 years now and this was our first time here, we have never had such good food and the pasta tastes so fresh! We have definitely found a new date night restaurant for nights we want to stay local! We were so full but took dessert to go and it was so worth it! 😋

Such a great Italian dinner. They never disappoint. We had prosciutto wrapped shrimp, stuffed portobello ravioli and veil. I'm sorry I don't remember the names but So So good. If you are thinking of coming do it.

This is the real deal. Atmosphere is spot on. Owner is authentic and welcoming. Food is delicious and fills you up. We will be returning for more memorable meals.
