Ashley is top notch, the toppest notch! The time and work she put in to reviving the haggard thing that was my hair, I'm just shocked at what she was able to do!! She's a master of her craft and I will be seeing her again.

The salon is friendly, and bright and right on pier avenue. This was my first time here, so I didn't know but the have some free parking in the back.

I started going to Maximus when I moved and couldn't find a good hair stylist. I asked a friend, who always had fabulous hair, where she went and I discovered Eddie, co-owner of Maximus.

That was about 20 years ago and while my my hair has changed and my hair style/color has changed MANY times, I still look forward to spending time with Ed. And I can't wait to see what beautiful hair style/color I get to sport next. Every visit is a fun adventure.

I've gotten to know and see most of the other stylist over the years. Almost everyone has been there for a long time. I can't say that I've seen a bad style leave the salon in all those years. You really can't go wrong with any of them. And it's amazing how they all help each other out to give the best service and results to all the clients that walk through the door.

Well, I'm sure it's pretty clear I'm a huge fan of Maximus! and would recommend it to anyone. They love what they do, are always learning and sharing to make sure you have fabulous hair every time.

I have been having my hair done by owner Eddie for well over 20 years! He is fantastic, and such a sweet man. He's fun to talk to, and we have great conversations while he is tending to washing, coloring, and cutting and styling my hair. I have a lot of gray, but since the prices are somewhat expensive, I only go to him about every 6 months. That reminds me... It's time to set up another appointment! Michelle, his wife, is also very nice, and she is usually the one who sets the appointments.

You have to deal with parking issues here, though, because there are plenty of spaces but they are all metered. You need to bring plenty of quarters, so that you can have the maximum of two hours of time. The salon has a parking lot in the back, but it is so tiny that it only holds 3 or 4 cars, so it isn't really viable. But I highly recommend Maximus for great hair services!

The owners and staff are very talented, thoughtful and client centric. My hair looks so much better than it ever has between the color (you can get organic or regular color), and the fantastic Keratin treatments offered. If you are looking for a salon that has your interests and desires in mind, and is focused on delivering high quality results, I highly recommend Maximus.

Vic is a hair god!! I'm super picky about who cuts my hair. Very responsive, amazing cut, and timely. I always leave happy and receive compliments. Salon is also clean and well decorated. The owners are welcoming and friendly! Would highly recommend.

Vic "the Beaut" is a masterful hairstylist! He's been cutting and coloring my hair for over a year now and I really trust him COMPLETELY. He has such a wide breadth of experience. His clients all love him and you can just tell this is what this man was meant to do. He loves his profession and it shows every time I leave his salon. I can't say every high end stylist earns their fee, but Vic does and he makes me feel more beautiful each time.

Amazing experience! Mari Ring was so attentive and helped me decide how to style and cut my hair after donating. Highly recommend her, she's so nice and helpful!
