Hi-Lo Liquor Market - Culver City

Superb wine, beer and liquor store. Has an all around great selection of all things. They always have beers that are hard to find.

I visit a couple times a year to the area and always come in at least a few times. The staff and owners are also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Fantastic spot--great beer, wine and liquor selection, and cool goodies to eat. If I lived nearby, I'd be here 2 or 3 times a week. Helpful staff.

Hi-Lo has perhaps the most impressive selection of rare craft beers in all of Los Angeles. Some companies I've been able to find here include: Maine Brewing Co., Toppling Goliath, Alchemist, Anchorage, Cigar City, Jester King, Tree House, and more. They're willing to import beer from anywhere in the country. And they even have a request log in store where customers can write down specific brews that Hi-Lo will have shipped to the store. When you walk into the store, this list will be directly on your right, by the first beverage fridge. Make sure to check it out, and request some great brews that we all can enjoy! If you are a craft beer/microbrewery fan, you must visit Hi-Lo!

How can so many people love a liquor store? Hi-Lo is just special like that. Its my go-to any time I need “something to bring” a great bottle of wine, a regional beer, an exciting new spirit. I love picking up a La Morra pizza from their freezer and a pack of cider on my way home from work. Also everyone there is just nice and rad to talk to. Agree the prices can be steep! But if you’re looking for a deal they can normally point out the best pick too. Glad you’re here Hi-Lo.

They have dairy free and gluten free snacks and organic snacks and drinks.

I don't live in Culver City but the selection here is so good I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area. Beer selection is top notch. Wine and spirits too. Definitely on the pricier side but worth it to find spirits you wouldn't find otherwise.

Everyone here is so nice, and knowledgeable. I had a beet at the CC arts fest beer garden last year and I love it. I couldn't remember the name so I described it. Dude knew the beer after "hazy with piney notes". Picknik Lightening. Love it. They're on point here. The bougie snack section is fun for a little treat here and there too.

Hi-Lo is one of the best liquor stores I've ever been to. They have a rotating selection of craft beer, and know their product well. I just save time and let the employees help me with what flavor I'm after. Hi-Lo is a great spot if you want to grab healthier snacks for an occasion too.

Such a cute little liquor store! Do they have everything? No. So don’t come looking for Jack Daniels. What they do have is quality liquor that you won’t find on many other shelves. Shout out to Ben who helped me find a new gin and vermouth. I’ll be back!

Rad spot for beer, wine and spirits. The crew are helpful and know their stuff. Nice diversity in the prices as well. The cherry on top is the selection of snacks and other "bodega" type items to round out your stop. I picked up a killer bottle of Mulholland whiskey for a camping trip on the advice of Mike and promptly replaced it upon our return. 👍🏻

Great beer selection, great liquor selection, and incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff to help you make your selection. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. It's a bright clean space, dog friendly too, and had a relaxed and very sociable vibe. I also hear they have some very exciting future plans for the place too.

Well stocked lquor store with craft spirits, wines, and beers. Options are leaner, but curated to include only recommendable options. Prices tend to skew a touch higher than other stores, though I think this comes down to being a small business with extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and likeable staff. Would happily shop here again.

Liquor store on the planet. The staff was a very kind guy and took the time to tell me it was a great idea to quit smoking, the cigar and cigarette selection is excellent as well as the liquor selection intriguing. They have everything and anything you need!

The entire team of staff at Hi-Lo completely and easily embraces the culture of enlightened hospitality that Talmadge Lowe leads. The shop is a top notch liquor store with very interesting regional boutique liquors, wines and beer; oh, and very cool beverage related items - you can’t leave without. And on Wednesday’s and Friday’s they offer tastings; what could be better?

Went in looking for Angeleno Spritz, came out with that, and more stuff.. Nice little place to get specific items, if you're into making your own cocktails they have a wall of bitters and syrups for cocktails, possibilities are endless! Also nice little selection of wines 🍷 and beer

This is truly a wonderful place! I spent time with Chris and later Tim who is their beermeister. He is truly a local beer expert who you can talk to about local breweries and beers. He knows his product and can guide you to what you like and expand your horizons. The new taproom area is great and I tried a new sour to die for. Also an old friend brewery in Long Beach, Beachwood on tap. Great stuff. I picked up a couple of items I haven't found elsewhere and excited to try from Enegren brewery in Moorpark. Nice to have such a great local resource. Also had a great variety of Gins , tequila, and Mescal, which I also like, among a wall of hard liquor choices. Great place. Don't miss it!

Knowledgeable helpful staff! We got a great recommendation for Prosecco to go with our Amaro Angeleno. Wonderful beer and bourbon selection as well. We’ll come back very soon.

Favorite local beer spot in the city. Great place to grab a drink on a low key night and hang with the incredible staff. They’re all super knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. Amazing selection of everything you could ask for and more. Also, free chips while you’re havin a beer 🤙🏻
