The. Best. Wine. Shop. Lots of Georgian, Eastern European, Orange, Amber and Natural wines. The selection isn’t enormous. But what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality and depth. Staff is friendly and helpful. Design of the shop is aces. A must visit if you like this style of wine that’s growing in popularity. Also a great place to source non-alcoholic items like “Phony Negroni” 0 ABV gin, mixers, etc.

Super friendly and knowledgeable! This store has an amazing selection of wine and hard liquor with a penchant for small and woman owned labels - which is a big win for me. AND a great little pizza pop up on Thursdays.

Fantastic, unique selection of wines and spirits. I really love that their prices are actually reasonable; lots of bottles in the $20 range. It’s great to be able to try new and interesting wines & spirits without breaking the bank. :) Looking forward to working through their very cool amaro collection as well.

Lastly, their Friday tastings are also excellent- we’ll certainly be back! :)

The best shop in Los Angeles for natural, organic and raw wines. The staff is incredible - highly knowledgeable and super friendly. If you're new to natural wine, they are terrific guides. And once the pandy is over, make it your business to get there on Tuesdays and Fridays for their tasting events. I've discovered so many amazing wines at B&G! Ryan, Michelle and the rest of the team do a rockstar job of making delicious wines from around the world affordable and accessible!

**March 2022 Update - weekly wines tastings have resumed. Taste around 5 wines and mingle with other wine lovers. New offerings each week. Each Friday from 5-8p, $12. Such a great way to explore new wines and discover your favorite new natty!

The best beer club in Los Angeles that no one talks about. $30 gets you a curated selection of beers that fit the season.

The store also carries a wide variety of wine, liquor and spirits. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

The staff here are amazing. They care about the wine and are very knowledgeable. The vibe they create is also so welcoming that it makes buying here a truly enjoyable moment. The selection is also great, but only if you’re looking for great wine and spirits that are hard to find and rarely sold anywhere else. It’s a great place to explore and try new styles and varieties. Wish I found this place sooner!

I stumbled across this little spot unintentionally and I’m glad that happened. They have a lot of good variety and of very good quality too. Prices are very reasonable and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. I will definitely come back here again!

Small, but well curated store for wine, spirits and some craft beers.It is always fun to come here and discover new wines or mixology ingredients. Staff is knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction if you let them know your taste. They also have a wine club and discounts if you buy 6 bottles at a time.

Hands down my wine & liquor shop. They have a great international wine and liquor selection for all budgets, and give really good recommandations. They are passionate and you can tell!
Their wine club and membership makes a great gift, too.

Bar and Garden has some of the friendliest staff - you forget that you are in LA! They are extremely knowledgeable and courteous (no snobbery here). Their wine is eclectic. I had a great tasting that covered the state of Oregon. I had no idea that Oregon made good wines! evidently they do and this place has 'em. Plus much more. Great beers, and some special spirits.

UPDATE: “These dudes”, since it first opened, they ownership has turned over. Happy to say that the shops selection, friendly environment, and Friday Night Tastings have all remained top notch. ORIGINAL: These ladies know their product (and their customers)! Ive never left unhappy, and now when my friends see me walk in with a Bar & Garden bag, everyone knows what to expect - quality wine.

An awesome independent little wine and spirits store. You won't find a single name-brand in here and you'll be better off for it. Each wine is carefully selected, and all vineyards are vetted for responsible farming practices as a prerequisite for making it onto the shelves.

Tags beneath the wines range from playful quips to straightforward flavor descriptions to genuinely helpful guidance on what kind of event that wine might be best suited for. And if you need more help the staff is extremely knowledgeable.

Above all else, however, Friday's 5x5 wine tastings is where Bar & Garden shines. Pick 5 wines from the collection on the counter in the back as you hang out, drink, and socialize. When you're done, just pay up at the front of the store and let the cashier know which wine was your favorite. In return for helping the owners pick which wines to carry at the store, you're rewarded with generous sampling portions and a great time. Just be sure to get there early (5:30-6:00) to make sure you're there before they run out of wine.

This place had the best wine selection inn culver city. Organic, biodynamic, real special choices here. Not to mention Ryan is such great help in educating you to get what you really want. This is a place to check out for sure!

Spot on recommendations and the staff are very nice. There are a few high end liquor shops in the area but this one gets my vote--reasonable prices and well curated picks.

Best place to taste and buy remarkable libations. Best bio wines. Walking through the store and meeting the people there is an experience not to be missed!
