Incredible experience there! My dog is so shy and timid and they made him feel right at home. The veterinarian is a professional but yet light hearted and he made the whole experience of my dog getting treatment smooth as can be!

We started coming into this office after our move from another state. Our beloved dog’s health took a sudden turn for the worse. Dr. G. acted fast, running test, and making room in his schedule at the last minute. Even after our dog was taken to a specialist at the animal emergency room, he called us daily to check in.

We are so appreciative of his kindness and care. I’ve never had a vet call to check in even after the pet is transferred to a specialist. We will continue to trust Dr. G with our little fur babies.

I came to this place right after our male pet rabbit got hurt (he got loose, ran off, and had a bad fall at some point in the night).

I called *at least* 6 different animal hospitals in the area to ask if I could bring him in, but none would take him due to the fact that they did not treat rabbits ('cats and dogs only' is what I kept hearing over the phone).

I finally decided to give this place a try after I heard that they did treat rabbits, as well as cats and dogs, and other pet animals.

When I called, someone picked up right away and offered to see me that same day and set up an appointment for that afternoon. I was able to bring our rabbit in just a few hours after I called.

I spoke directly to the doctor and he did a complete exam + x-ray within a short amount of time (I'd say I was there no more than an hour or so, max, as I got in at 1 pm and was out by 2 pm-ish).

He shared his insight, explained how he examined him, and even gave us a copy of all our paperwork and x-rays as well. He was also very up-front about the costs of everything and had every part of the service printed in writing, so I knew what the total cost would be before I agreed to it.

I also saw other customers coming in and out with their pets (they were busy!) and the doctor and staff seemed very friendly and sweet. I was very happy I came here and I will come back!

If you're looking for a tiny little mom-and-pop-style vet to take your pet to in LA, then I'd say this is your place.

Went here for my dog’s annual exam and vaccines. They have to let people wait outside but the doctor when he came out was super friendly, helpful, thorough and explained everything to us. Made us feel welcomed. He was very knowledgeable about our dog’s health and diet issues and gave a lot of good advice.

My shihtzu was attacked by a Great Dane. Doc took very good care of my baby. Staff is great. I'm happy I chose Fox Hills to treat my Kaz.

I adopted a senior Shih Tzu mix about 8 months ago that unfortunately had quite a few medical conditions, from eye issues, to severe allergies, to kidney stones. I have been taking him to see a vet almost every month since we've adopted him and this has been the best experience with a vet thus far. The staff was friendly and the doctor was super knowledgeable and thorough. He answered all of my questions and my appointment did not feel rushed, nor did I feel like he was trying to add on unnecessary treatments or tests to our visit to "rack up" the bill like some vets.

I had been to about 4 different animal clinics before discovering this one and when I visited this clinic, it was the first time I felt confident in the doctor's recommendations and that they truly cared for the well-being of my dog. Only con is having to wait outside the office on a busy street that is pretty noisy, but based on the care and service I received, I will gladly do it again.

Very happy with my first visit. The doctor and the staff member I spoke to did a great job thoroughly explaining everything from my dog's treatment to how prescription medication can be ordered online. I did not feel pressured to make particular choices or to spend money on extra services, but rather I was given a lot of information to make my own decisions with. Also they were very nice people and easy to interact with. There was none of the "shaming" that I've experienced from some vets in the past. It's also worth noting that I think I was the last appointment of the day, but they hadn't gotten behind and took my dog in right on time if not a little early. A+ first impressions. It looks like this will be our vet going forward!

DrG gets a 5 star rating every time. He and Jonathon are a great team.

DrG has helped me and my many pets from when I am rescued by them to when they crossed the rainbow bridge and in between. This relationship has stemmed for about 20 years. DrG has always been compassionate, caring and has provided exceptional care.

He alsohad a great team behind him. Over the years DrG has had amazing staff: Currently, Jonathan - one of his best assistants ever, and in the past Beatrice and Marylou - who we still miss. I did have a problem with one staff member, who shall remain nameless. Thankfully, DrG took care of that (thank you Dr G).

He has always gone out of his way for me and my pets. I am so appreciative of his attention and care of my pets.

What people do not realize that DrG has only taken off twice during this time, once with a heart attack, and once to go on a vacation to his home. Now, that is dedication. He deserves more time off.

We as clients have gotten very used to the care he has provided. His prices has always been extremely fair. We are very spoiled

It is difficult to find staff these days, and even more so to find staff who has the same dedication to pets as DrG.

Recently, Dr G with Jonathon at his side helped me by providing care for another of my very ill pets, who we believe was around 20 years old, who was suffering. For that I am so grateful.

What is very important for all of us to know is that life is precious. It can be taken away in an instant.

We have had an opportunity to have Dr G help us with our pets for many years. He could have retired years ago, but, he keeps on working. Many of us do not know what we will do with our pets when we no longer have the incredible DrG. So, we should be grateful for every opportunity and respectful to the good doctor.

Dr. Girgy is phenomenal. Love the passion and confidence he brings to every appointment and I always leave assured that I'm giving my puppy the best care possible. He's definitely a teacher so be prepared with pen and notepad because he'll let you know exactly what to expect from your pet, from your vet and his expectations of you as the pet owner.

My first experience here was incredibly positive. My cat was taken care of quickly and the staff and doctor are so friendly, it felt like I had known them for years after meeting them once. If you are looking for a reliable and cost-friendly vet, this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning.

Dr. Girgis is a life saver. He is the most honest vet that I have ever met. I’ve known him since I got my dog ten years ago and his service has continued to be excellent until now. My cat was dying and he saved my cats life. He is always there when my pets are in need or in any kind of emergency. I would recommend Fox Hills Animal Hospital to anyone I know. The entire staff is kind, caring, and make all your concerns heard. I would give more stars if I could.

Dr G is knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly honest. I got really lucky choosing him as the first and only vet my cat will see. She has a serious immune condition but he always takes care of her and helps her get back to good health. He always recognizes me and my kitty when we come in and is very friendly. He also doesn't over-charge or mark up medications like I've heard some other vets tend to do.

I live a few blocks away and needed a vet for this poor stray cat that the owners on our block had abandoned!
He is *the* sweetest cat I’ve ever met.
He was horribly infested with fleas and an extensively bloody ear. It broke my heart to witness the misery he was going through.
This veterinary office went above and beyond - with boarding and administering antibiotics and then surgery for removing the ear which was a tumor. And all done at a very good price, not like most veterinary offices.

Dr. G is second to none. Highly knowledgeable and a true expert in the field. He is Sharp as a tack, Enthusiastic, and has a true love for animals. I travel over an hour just to come see him to take care of all my pets. Honorable mention: his staff. Also A1. Highly recommend this hospital. You won't be disappointed.

We've been taking our furry family members to this office for a minimum of 28 years.
Dr. G. cares...he cares about our pets AND our family as a whole. He's knowledgeable, kind and considerate, whether it be for vaccinations, surgery or the ultimate kindness, euthanasia. We never feel like we're being rushed out of the office so he can get to the next patient. We have also been allowed to stay with our furry babies through their last moments. Dr. G. provides kind words, a hug or a gentle kiss on the head, reassuring us that we "did the right thing, the kind thing, the caring and L♡VING thing". Staff has rotated and evolved over the years, but that's to be expected with any long term open business, small changes do occur.
The waiting room and patient rooms are clean and well maintained. Later evening hours and Saturdays make for ease and convenience. Even before appointments were necessary, we never had long wait times. Other pet owners have their pets well under control.

Dr. G is one of the most kind and caring Vets I have ever encountered, and I'm really grateful to have him so close to where I live. Although the building/office is fairly old and not in the best condition, he has nearly 5 star rating because he is an outstanding vet and human being. Dr. G is incredibly informative and understanding about financial issues. He does NOT pressure you to buy services and understands that many pet owners are on a tight budget. In my experiences, he sums up what he believes the issue is and then provides a number of options for how to diagnose or treat the issue. What was most memorable about Dr. G was that he called me several days after seeing him to check in on my Dog and make sure he was doing well. That type of care will keep me as a patient for life.

We were traveling and visiting a family member. This animal hospital was open during the evening and had an opening to see our 15 year old small dog on short notice. The place was being renovated while we were there so he did not have a standard well organized and well-kept feel. In spite of this, we were treated very well and we appreciated fact that the doctor was kind and went out of his way to give us confidence that his care was appropriate for our dog's needs. The doctor is an immigrant from Egypt and I very much appreciated his personality and his willingness to go the extra mile to communicate with us. We also like very much the doctor's assistant. The doctor even called us a few days later to ask how her dog was doing. I felt that we lucked out by being able to find Fox Hills Animal Hospital.

Our regular vet was booked solid, when our lil pom fell very ill. Our dog hadn't eaten in 2 days, wouldn't get up or walk, then he started breathing hard n whimpering.
Dr. G took us in right away. While we were in the waiting room, one of the tech assistants came over n started talking to our dog n petting him.
After exam we found he had a high fever n needed to be hospitalized over the weekend, with IV n meds. Our dog still hadn't eaten over the weekend, but, Dr. G allowed us to come in early Monday morning n right before they closed to try to feed him. He finally did eat for me n we were so happy, the Dr was smart enough to take our dogs emotional state into clear consideration.
Dr. G consulted with a specialist n clearly explained the abnormal lab results to us, with different options.
We are very great full n satisfied with the services thus far.

Great service! Very passionate and caring staff. Doctor Girgis even called me personally to follow-up on my dog's development after she was treated for eye infection. Good clinic and very clean. Highly recommended!

I bring my cat Yoshi and just started bring my little old chihuahua Nano. They always take great care of my pets and the prices are lower than other vets. I do have pet insurance which is a plus. I reccomend bringing your pets here
