Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA is an outdoor shopping district walking distance from the Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Ocean. There are a handful of new trending stores popping up frequently. All of the mainstream stores can be found here from Nordstrom to PacSun and local retailers!

It's a shopping closed street that's very easy and comfortable to walk around here. But even on a Friday evening, it felt like the crowds were much smaller than the last time I came six years ago.

It is a great walking area with stores, cafes and restaurants with a great vibe and only 8 minutes from Santa Monica Pier. You can see people play musical instruments or singing.

Santa Monica is a great city I like going to be beach and walking along the beach I intend to shop at the local Farmers market after meeting a few locals at the farmers market weeks ago Our Vice President Kamala Harris meets me in the city often we do have history We know of each other And my mother has known her since she was 11 years old And my parents lived in Larchmont CA.

What a fun day! Looking for a decide as you go sort of day? Santa Monica is a great place for that!

It is lined with variety of stores- even a mall to explore! Also, there are rental scooters if you want to use them.

Granted, it always gets busy! No doubt about that, but it's still worth it. Get there early or go midweek to manage the parking shortage that can often occur.

Also, you can walk the pier, beach, or through the park!

For the best experience and to see the a lot street and others activities, you need to go on a Friday or Saturday night. The street really comes to like around 9pm. There is no shortage of good restaurants on the street, but the atmosphere is what makes it special.

We stayed right in the heart of Santa Monica a block from main st and couldn't have asked for a better location in LA to stay. The people are extremely friendly, the food was incredible, and a lot of great places to shop.

A dynamic and entertaining experience. From the promenade to the pier- culture in the form of street performers and dozens of food carts. Very well manicured and heavily patrolled. All of these factors combined on a beautiful day became a world-class experience.

Loved it! It's a cute mix of renovated older buildings done really well and new buildings. It's like a charming little village with shopping and restaurants! My daughter moved into the neighborhood and bikes between her home and her many jobs!

Visiting from Hawaii this is one of my new favorite spots! So much to see and so much to do very happy environment, live music, shops, restaurants and bars! I definitely recommend coming here to have a good time and great spot for family and friends to enjoy!

Every weekend, we go to downtown Santa Monica. This place is our favorite place in Socal. It's a nice place to hang out with lots of stores and restaurants.

Really enjoy this place. Visited about 2 years ago and it’s much better with things slowly opening back up. Very inviting and get to see so many shops and restaurants.

Beautiful place. There is a good and not expensive parking garage not far from the pier and the beach. First 3 hrs free. Many great restaurants.

Santa Monica is lovely anytime of the year. The 3rd street promenade is nice to walk along. Beautiful pier with tons of attractions and spectacular views. There are a lot of nice shops and restaurants around. Very well connected with the rail.
