The bread here is legit, it's delicious and hearty bread, made properly. There are a lot of varieties of bread, pastries and dough. The pita was by far the most moist and tasty pita I've had in my entire life. The turkey sandwich was very good and the pita sandwich was excellent. All the right flavors and lots of textures and colors.
Prices are very fair for what you get.
Coffee was delicious.
Staff very friendly and attentive.
The only reason this isn't a 5 for me, which is nearly impossible is that parking is a little difficult along Washington street and all of the seating is outdoors, which can be less than pleasant in bad weather.

Get the country loaf and any of the croissants here! I was surprising a friend for her bday and Juan and the woman in the front were so helpful and patient, making my coffee exactly how I wanted it. This is a neighborhood gem!

Alex was so kind and welcoming! I came here alone and liked the seating by the street because it felt open. They had spots inside and on the patio too. The jambon-beurre, seasonal danish, and cinnamon roll were all great :)

One of our go-to breakfast places. All the breads are amazing but sourdoughs are the best. Weekend morning and brunch time is usually very busy but it is worth waiting around to get the fantastic shaksuka!

Good food and bread. The coffee was yum also. Fast and great service. Went here a friend took us here and we loved it. Parking is a bit small just find a spot on the street.

When it comes to croissants, Lodge Bread is my favorite in LA. It's not an easy pick, since the competition is fierce; and it's a pretty personal choice. I prefer Lodge because their croissants are made with sourdough. Oh yeah, delicious, mouthwatering sourdough.

Lodge's sourdough croissants have a crunchy crust and the bottom part doesn't get soggy, the texture feels hearty. Lodge's croissants are huge, heavy, filling, and the aromatic sourdough gets me every single time.

I visited Lodge Bread in Culver City four times and tried all four croissant variations every shop makes: butter, chocolate, almond, ham and cheese. I gotta say the plain one is still my favorite, for the pure sourdough taste. I also like the chocolate croissant since sourdough goes pretty well with dark chocolate. The ham cheese croissant, on the other hand, doesn't stand out with its caked cheese, cold ham and 6.5 price tag.

Lodge Bread offers a lot more than croissants. Its pastry menu includes cinnamon roll, banana and coffee cakes, bread pudding, monkey cake, and cookies. Moreover, it has a full menu of wood fired pizza, toasts, and sandwiches. Last but not least, it's called Lodge Bread for a reason: it makes delectable sourdough bread: country, seeded, olive, baguette, as well as a rotating menu of daily specials. I once had an onion & fennel loaf, and relished the unique flavor.

The baked egg and shashuka were both delicious but the true highlight for me was their bread! They give you plenty of slices for each dish so you can truly carbo load 😁 Cant wait to go back to try their toast menu!

Wow! I was nearby just to charge car up and decided to follow the line to this bakery. Upon approaching Bob, the manager, opened the door and greeted me and others. I asked what he recommended and he led me to this one of a kind tuna (fresh albacore) with spicy sauce(made in-house). He also said they have the best bacon(nueske) in the city so I slapped that on the sandwich. This might be the best sandwich I’ve had to date.

I saved half just to relive the experience(and the fact that I already filled up on the matcha white chocolate chip cookie while I waited just a brief moment for the sandwich). I immediately invited a friend who lived nearby to join me. Oh also I purchased another cookie on the way out for my girlfriend because she wouldn’t like that I had such a great meal without her. :) I’ll be back and will ask Bob what else he’s got! And they have great coffee and a clean restroom(both perfect for the road and traffic in LA).

Good place if you'd like a quick bite and caffeine supplement. danish and almond croissant were good; morning bun and cardamom knots were ok, and I also like their cold brew, flavorful, end with bitter sour, and latte was average.

Our favorite brunch spot and to-go bakery. Their bread and pastries are 🔥👌🏻. Alex is super great, always friendly with great hospitality.

Great place with delicious sandwiches and fantastic service. I had the BLT and I added an egg to that. My bf had the pastrami melt sandwich. We absolutely loved the bread and everything on the sandwich was super fresh and tasted great. Very generous portions and we were both super full after! Really recommend this place.

Heard rave reviews about this spot and it didn’t disappoint! We picked up chocolate and almond croissants, a berry scone and baguette. All delicious! Would love to try the bread loaves sometimes. Limited seating inside but plenty of outdoor seating as long as it’s not raining (which it was when we were there!).

First time, definitely not the last.
Went with family and they have been going quite often when I couldn't join. Was so happy, I was finally able to go.
Their pizza dough was so fluffy and light.

Best sourdough in LA. Hands down! Recommend the seeded sourdough.

Came back for brunch and we loved the basic breakfast sandwich and the granola with yogurt as take out. Both delicious! But Lodge Bread company MUST get on board with compostable cutlery and take out containers. We are having a plastic contamination crisis and single-use plastic is a HUGE culprit. The granola and yogurt came on a single-use plastic container and my utensils were single-use plastic wrapped in more plastic. UNACCEPTABLE for a business that seems to be doing pretty well.

I’ve been there 3 times over the last 2 weeks because this is such an amazing spot!
The pizza was delicious, the BLT absolutely incredible, the pepperoni focaccia yummy and the cinnamon roll humongous!
The staff is friendly which is always a plus.

Amazing bakery!

Gorgeous avocado toast on thick cut bread, delicious radishes on top. My partner got the big breakfast and loved it too.

The bread is sublime. Crunch outside, soft and very chewy on the inside. Exactly what you want from an independent bakery. They honored my request to sub a baguette for their regular bread on the turkey sandwich.

Loved the pizza! All their pastries look amazing as well, I also didn't realize they sell a few varieties of fresh bread AND sourdough starters which is awesome. I'll be back for some soon!

Mega Sandwiches!

This place has two vegan sandwiches to my knowledge, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita. The portion was huge! It was very stuffed with fresh veggies, chickpeas, and tahini. The freshly baked sourdough pita bread was delicious as well 🤤

All in all a 5 star sandwich in my books. The vanilla latte with hemp milk that I got was really good too.

What an Amazing Find!!!
I discovered this location when hunting for fresh and healthy bread. But I got a lot more.
We had a pizza, and it tasted really homemade, and the crust was one of the greatest I've ever had!!
They also give us a complimentary cookie. It has a very warm and personal feel to it. This restaurant's service is outstanding!
