Dr. Keri Zickuhr

So I’m a competitive athlete and have an ankle injury that has been concerning me for a while now. I finally decided to go get it checked out. She basically just asked me “where it hurt” and then told me to go to PT. That was pretty obvious to me, but the reason i went to see her was because i have been doing PT and it hasn’t gotten better. I wanted to know if my injured tendons have the capability of healing on there own, in general terms, and she wouldn’t really answer my questions. I felt like all she wanted to do was get out the door while i felt like i was constantly trying to ask her questions to keep her in the room. She didn’t even move my ankle around. I guess the only useful thing I learned from the appointment is that i had no broken bones because she read my x-ray. I was just really unsatisfied with how her evaluation went, compared to the various other orthopedists i’ve seen for other injuries.
