Basecamp Coffee Roasters

After a climbing session at Vertical, my friend and I went downstairs to visit their coffee shop.

The Drinks: I went with a class Iced Caramel coffee here. The coffee was good, mixed well and didn't have a burnt taste at all. Well flavored for my liking and at an affordable price as well.

The Service: Service was good! The staff here are friendly and welcoming when you walk in. Ordering was easy and straight forward with orders being sent out in a timely manner.

The Atmosphere: With the climbing gym being upstairs, it only makes sense that the decor and atmosphere fit into the "climbing/adventure" aesthetic. The coffee shop is spacious with plenty of seats to either relax/hangout or get some work done. They had nice National Park posters/stuff decorated around the shop as well. Really nicely decorated.

Overall, a 5/5! Great coffee, very chill and relaxing vibes. Would definitely come back.

Tucked in the side of the shopping center is Basecamp coffee. I would have never known this placed existed until I was looking for a coffee shop in the area. Upstairs is a indoor climbing center. The ambiance is modern coffee shop, there was a couple of people working. The baristas was friendly and helpful.

It is nice they have a couple of options and speciality beans they feature. We got a lavender milk tea, latte and an ice coffee. The coffees were pretty good and the prices are what you expect. Some of the specialty beans are a bit more pricey. Either way, I’m glad this place exist.

The owner of this coffee shop is extremely nice and as a fly on the wall, you can observe how much he cares about his shop. There's a ton of seating to do work, really good coffee, good pastries, big selection of bottled drinks, fast internet, open until really late, and 2 coffee machines incase 1 goes down. You really can't ask for more out of a coffee shop.

Awesome coffee shop. Great atmosphere and excellent roast. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Gave great recommendations. I was only in town for two days and was happy to get great coffee that wasn't Starbucks.

Has good vibes. I came to workout upstairs and stopped by for a small black coffee. The taste was so good!!

I've been here many times to enjoy a cup of coffee and some rock climbing. The staff are always very welcoming and considerate of any requests I have. If you love mint, you have to try Frostbite!

Such a great coffee shop. Especially for working or studying! Their latter was delicious ☕😋

Finally a place in Tyson’s that cares about their coffee. I always try a spot by testing the drip coffee. It was very good. Trying a pour over was also another great experience. They are friendly, fairly quick, and seem to be consistent as of my second visit (different barista). Look forward to making this a frequent stop. Oh beware of the weird credit card machine

Outside of a few wobbly tables, I love Basecamp. Coffee is great! I’d recommend the sweetened matcha latte, chai latte, or their lemonades! Great spot to either do some work or relax with friends!

Coffee is very good. Expensive but very good. It’s about $4 for a medium (12 oz), black, drip coffee. My first thought was: “this coffee better be good.” It is good! I will go back

Cute coffeeshop, plenty of indoor seating and small outdoor seating also available. Baristas are great at what they do.

My one recommendation would be to offer a vegan-friendly pastry. MidnighTreats is a local cookie shop that sells delicious vegan cookies which some cafes in the area sell. Would love it if Base Camp also sold them ☺

The General Manager Mico said they personally guarantee that the Pumpkin hot chocolate would be the best id ever had.... well heres my review...

I have been to every chill spot in virginia, I am a huge consumer of pumpkin items. To the point I will be flying out to Texas to try a new business pumpkin products.

I'm going to compare them to Starbucks. I will do so in 2 words....

You can't!

This is the very first I have ever had that actually tastes like 🎃

The texture is blended perfectly, not too hot not cold but perfect!

Now the one who made my drink was Liam.

I have never once 5 started a coffee shop and ment it. Here I do. Try them out! My drink is available until Thanksgiving.

Here is the best part, when you order a small coffee you get a small coffee!

Great coffee shop hidden right in Tysons Corner! Good food and quality coffee, along with a cool theme that many will find cool and comfortable.

Coffee shop with a fun and cozy vibe, just don’t let yourself be intimidated with all the fit rock climbers heading to the gym upstairs 🤣

Couple by the window shows a sense of humor as well. I’ll definitely add this place to my list of favorite places for a cup o’ Joe and quick read. 🤓📚☕
