The one thing I am grateful for is Chris Cervantez's patience. I dragged the poor fellow around pre-pandemic to find something that would fit. The first time, the market just wasn't there for me and everything I wanted got out bid more than I was comfortable with. My second go around these last 2 months was quick and easy though. I found and fell in love with a house just after seeing about 5 of them. I made an offer, I did have to come up a bit, but Chris gave me some great advice on how to present our offer and we went with his strategy and after the multiple counter offer, my bid was accepted, even though there was presumably one higher bid than mine. He made the whole process as painless as possible. There are a lot of hoops to jump through when buying a house and people kept telling me it is time consuming and tedious to go through escrow, but that wasn't my experience. Everything, except the escrow agent the seller provided, went pretty smooth. The escrow agent wasn't Chris' fault as that was the seller's choice. Chris is very knowledgeable and informative. Any questions I had he answered as promptly as possible. He didn't hold back and kept it real through the whole process. I felt I could trust his judgement and opinion. He knows how to hustle and handle his business well. This was my first home purchase and I am really glad I went with Chris to get me across the finish line. 10/10 would recommend.

We were so impressed with his preparation that we signed an agreement with him at the conclusion of his presentation. Chris immediately went to work preparing the listing. He scheduled his photographer and videographer to take photos and videos of the house and property just a few days later. With excellent professional photos and videos, Chris produced an outstanding listing which was promptly put up on the web. We received a good offer within days of the listing being published. Chris expertly guided us through the offer and prepared a very good counter offer. We came to an agreement with the buyers within a few days and escrow was opened. Working with the buyer's agent, Chris managed all of the contingencies quickly so that escrow could close without delay, right on schedule. Chris got us what we needed to make the deal work for us which provided us what we were looking for. It was truly a very good experience working with Chris and his associate Erin. But they fully supported me every step of the way, answered every single question I had (even after typical work hours), and helped me navigate the crazy home buying process in Los Angeles. They truly went above and beyond, and they were critical in helping me navigate an unfortunate situation involving a rebate / refund, - and this was only due to their extreme persistence and dedication, even after escrow had closed. There are only so many positive adjectives in my vocabulary to describe Chirs. He's been nothing but helpful and reassuring in the process of purchasing our first home. Super patient when my wife and I were deciding what kind of home was best for us and how our needs shifted in this hectic year we've had. One constant has been Chris' commitment to helping us through the daunting task of homebuying even though we weren't going to be able to afford the nicest home on the market. Communication was excellent even in this market that was constantly shifting from hour to hour and it really allowed us to take a breather when we felt overwhelmed.

When we encountered some problems with our mortgage lender, Chris was always quick to get involved and soothe out the situation to get us where we needed to be, and I'm proud to say that he did everything that he promised us he would do and more! I honestly can't say too many good things about Chris, and we're hoping to eventually move into something bigger and we'll be sure to call him to be on our team again!
