Fukuya Sushi

I have been to many sushi places, I know what texture and the general taste from each type of fish. This sushi bars fish is very fresh especially for the price, the texture is very soft and has its profound flavor once it touches your tongue along with each roll having good portioned rice where it doesn't take up more than half the roll. Even the fish glisten like gold.

I say this is a good place to go if you want a high quality prepared roll without it being a super fancy restaurant that is overpriced. Be prepared to try other rolls and it being a new and different experience than other sushi places.

To all the previous reviews, this is under new management. It looks like the owner is the cook.

Been coming here for years, it's my families 'go to' sushi restaurant. I've NEVER had anything less than delicious. Quality ingredients, sushi is fresh, all-you-can-eat is an amazing deal.

Visited based on reviews and distance. Was unsure with the size of the restaurant, glad we stuck it out. Staff treated us very well. Food was off the charts fantastic.

Small sushi house. Good service. Food is delicious. On our first visit the waitress came to our table with these delicious filled jalapeno, courtesy of the house! That was a very nice gesture from them. Friday nights get pretty busy.

The best all you can eat sushi!! We have been enjoying this place for more than 20 years. Service is excellent, ever-y-thing is delicious🤤, especially the popcorn lobster, the double double, the Alaskan roll, and golden tiger.

My new favorite sushi place. The service is friendly but the place is small and gets crowded quick cause the food is so good. I like some of the more unusual sushi choices.

Awesome sushi place. The food was great and not crazy expensive. The establishment is very clean and staff is so friendly. Portions are big and the menu has pictures of ALL the food which was great to know what we were expecting. Definitely recommend!

Just discovered this place even though we live nearby. Our favorites are the Dragon Roll & Salmon Ono Roll. We're loving trying all the other ones too which have all been delicious !
The miso soup is also yummy. Prices are excellent and great value. This place is a gem and the people working here are all very nice. Don't let the fact that it being in a strip mall should turn you off. It's always busy because it's great !

The last time I had visited this restaurant I had been a child growing up in La Verne. I remembered it as an excellent experience though I mainly attributed it to nostalgia.

After my visit today I realize that nostalgia is only a bit part. The service excellent and friendly, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home.

If you're in the area and you enjoy small; homely sushi bars, then I highly reccomend visiting Fukuya sushi.

This is my go to spot whenever I want sushi! I've never had a bad experience here, and i try and come at least once a month. Their pricing makes it so easy to come get some awesome sushi, and not break the bank. I love this place.

loved the Salmon sashimi and special roll plate for only $24!! I devoured this up in less than 10 mins and forgot to take a photo !:( not like me at all

My mother has been living in la verne for 2 years and I've only came across this place last night the waitress was so nice even though it was just take out the service was great she brought my sister and I water. At first I didnt want to go in here it looked funky because it didnt have that Asian flare but the food is amazing my flavor palette is superb so trust me when I say this place is pretty good.
