Wonderful to have this patch of woods to enjoy, especially with so much development in the area. Thanks to whoever drew and posted maps... though it isn't big enough to get too badly lost if you want to wing it.

Nice local park. Best part was the painted rocks hidden along the trails and in the trees. Kids loved looking for them. Must have seen at least 10 of them! Parking is limited. Worth the trip.

A lot of people walk their dogs there, so it's not a great place for mushroom foraging 🤮

Nice local park to venture in and hike or excersize. Big Doug firs and Cedars dot this park. Perimeter trail is easy to stay on and walk all they way around in a few minutes. I noticed some comments about mountain biking but I can't imagine doing it here with the semi narrow trails and all the foot traffic with dogs about. Great place to walk, run or take your dog nonetheless.

Very cute and nice forest park. It has one old growth tree that looks to have fallen in the past twenty years. You can walk it’s length and go to the giant ruin of a stump with half of the outer portion of the tree jutting you ten feet or so. Delightful.

We call this 'the local' trail and go here all the time. The trails are great for beginner mountain bikers. Owls live in there too and if you're lucky like me you'll see one.

We moved here one year ago in May from Puyallup and we love Gig Harbor area. The people are nice and there's lots of stores and events that go on throughout the year. We can't wait to enjoy more!

I like that they have done almost no property "improvements" here. It is a simple park for people who want to walk, run, or ride their bike on trails in the woods.
