My wife visited this Church about 6 months ago because she was looking for something that creates an atmosphere of closeness among its members. Pastor Dean and well as the rest of its members gave her that welcoming impression. My wife invited me there few weeks later and I felt the calling from God to be a member and that this church encourages and edifies me and my family as a Christian. Since my first visit , my two teenage kids has became members and were baptized as well.

I am from unbeliever to transforming into believer and being with our God always…Just trust yourself, let God guide us and lead us. We just followers first, and showing is the first step, and then learning and building up trust, finally we could become witnesses indeed!

I have been a member of this church for over 20 years, so I may be bias. This church welcomes all people of ethnic background. It is predominately chinese, and yes there are people of other nationalities as well. The church has many ministries from young youth to adult seniors. Some ministries include, and not limited to:

2. Iron Men Fellowship (Brother's Fellowship)
3. J's CREW Fellowship (High School and College Fellowship)
4. Adult Senior Fellowship (Adult Career / Adult Retired Fellowship)
5. Let's Talk English (Free English Class Offered To The Community of Covina)
6. Computer Class (Computer PC Class Offered Free To The Community Of Covina)
7. Young Adult Career Fellowship
8. Childrens Choir, which recently won 2nd place in a recent competition.

There is an English Ministry and a Chinese Ministry. The current English Ministry Pastor as of 2012 is Pastor Tori Swingrover. The current Chinese Ministry Pastors as of 2012 are Pastor Jack Chen, Minister Joseph Kao, and Minister Amy Chiang.

Sunday School begins at 9:30am each Sunday morning. There is Sunday School for both English and Mandarin speaking. Currently, the church is still trying to establish a children's Sunday School for the elementary age students.

Sunday Service begins at 11am for the English Ministry, Chinese Ministry, along with the Childrens Ministry. Though the church does not have a childrens Sunday School as of 2012, but the church does have childrens Bible Study Class at 11am. For children under 5 year old, the church has a day care in the main sanctuary.

As far as the teaching's concerned, this church teaches from the Bible each service. The church focuses more on expository verse by verse teaching from the Bible and will have occasionally topical teaching. The statement of faith can be provided to anyone by the church if asked.

Regardless if you are an English or Mandarin speaker, the church welcomes all to join us for Sunday Service's and other Fellowships. The church welcomes anyone to join the services which they feel comfortable.

If for whatever the reason you have visited this church and feel in some ways the church does not welcome you, please bare in mind that there ARE members of this church who can NOT speak english, and most likely there may be miscommunications. This church is loving and wonderfully a warm church striving to share the Gospel to the community of Covina and local cities. This is our humble small church with BIG hearts to love all of God's people.

First church i've ever felt truly welcomed by. Maybe others were just too big. This church finally feels like home.

found a great church family here. totally a different experience from other asian churches ive been to. the english congregation is very warm and welcoming.

What is a good church? Answer is church with faithful servants. This church has many very faithful people. Everything else is extra.
