Dr. Pat Shu, ND

We brought our 5 year old daughter to Dr. Shu after we had struggled to get a persistent rash around her mouth under control for about 5 weeks with no success. She also had a chronic runny nose and a slight cough. We had been to a pediatrician and dermatologist and the suggested treatment for the rash was harsh (corticosteroid cream) and only exasperated the problem. We were told she had dermatitis and other then the corticosteroid cream there was really nothing we could do. Dr. Shu immediately welcomed us into her warm, wonderful environment after an extremely thorough interview on the phone discussing my daughters skin condition and lifestyle, including diet, exercise, hygiene and overall activity and sleep. It was so refreshing! She was extremely kind and patient with our daughter and we began her suggested natural and safe course of treatment. After about 10 days we started to notice improvement in our daughters overall health as well as her rash and after approx. 2 months of following Dr. Shu's course of treatment her rash was completely gone along with the runny nose and cough and has not come back and it has been 6 months. We continue to follow many of the suggestions Dr. Shu educated us on in regards to healthy diet and natural skin care and are amazed at our daughters overall thriving health. We cannot recommend her enough to others. She is kind, professional, thorough, always available through email, phone and always prompt. She is dedicated to her field of medicine and is a wealth of knowledge.

In my father's last testimony I don’t think he mentioned that as of July 2014 he was inducted into the “United States Power Lifting Hall of Fame” which gives him some credibility when talking about the effectiveness of “Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)” treatments. These treatments got him up and walking and doing things on his feet that he was afraid to say were disappearing rapidly. He recently sent away for a book on “Prolo Therapy” to get a better understanding of the treatment and this book explains thoroughly how that therapy works. As of this date, he is still not at 100% cured of the bone on bone condition that he has in his left knee. He is more likely at 75% better and in the process of getting ready to give Prolo Therapy the “clean up” job for his condition.

Dr. Shu is a great, caring and detailed doctor. She takes her time and analyzes her patients' conditions and takes action with her treatments. We would recommend her to anyone seeking medical assistance.
