Salsa Verdes

wow, what a surprise we had. We stopped by on the way back from the lighthouse and taking our kids around the Palos Verdes area. The food was all excellent. I can see why they have a 4.7 rating. We got the loaded steak, the kids got bean cheese burritos, I had two fish tacos, and my wife got the two cheese enchiladas. Everything was great. We took our leftovers home because there was so much extra food after we were done and we wanted to make sure we wouldn’t lose any of it. It was that good.

First time here. I had the halibut special. I don’t know how they did it, but it was the best halibut I have ever had. Hot and Perfectly cooked and Moist in the middle. No dryness and simply delicious. Large portions. More than fair prices. We also got a pitcher of sangria, and we got about seven glasses out of this huge thing. It wasn’t sweet either. Another good purchase.

The restaurant is decorated is such bright and vibrant colors....so beautiful!
The staff was super friendly and on it the whole time! Didn't hover but was there when we needed anything.
The chips and salsa to start off with were really good! The chips were not oily and the salsa was fresh and just the right amount of flavor.
We ordered the House Nachos to start off with and honestly if you combined it with a cup of tortilla soup or a side salad, that would be a perfect meal for 2.
The House Nachos are their awesome chips with black beans, cheese, chucks of soft chicken, a sauce on the bottom layer of chips and topped with a dollop of sour cream and a dollop of guacamole.
Not knowing the amount of House Nachos though, we ordered the chicken/steak fajitas and we were not disappointed with the homemade corn tortillas that accompanied the fajitas.
We ended up taking most of the fajita plate home as we were perfectly full.
We even ordered chips and salsa to go!!

Good food takes time to prepare. The server brought us warm tortilla chips with a delicious fresh-made salsa, it had a slight kick (spicy). We ordered the lobster stuffed with blue crab and the beef medallions in peppercorn sauce. The meal was exquisite.Chef Rafael Solorzano stepped out of his busy kitchen to greet us and made two delicious desserts for us. Salsa Verdes is a must try place.

They catered an event for our family. They had an Alfredo pasta for the kids which most of the adults ate because it was that delicious. I didn’t expect that from a Mexican focused restaurant. My personal favorite was the shrimp. They were buttery and cooked to perfection. This was also surprising because it tasted like it was sea to table. Very fresh.

My friends and I stopped for lunch after a small hike around the area. We were extremely happy with the customer service and of course the food. It was delicious, super tasty and reasonable price. They currently have outdoor seating in the patio and it is super relaxing with the sound of the water fountain.

We have eaten at Salsa Verde several times. The food and service were excellent each time. Sit in a window table for wonderful sunset views!

This was our first time at Salsa Verdes it was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely bring the family and friends. Our Waiter Gab was terrific!!

Salsa verde tastes and feels as authentic as if my very own abuela y mamá where cooking here in the back.

My go to spot for family events. Food here is next level delicious. I go at least twice a month here. Fajitas are amazing! Waiters and staff are always courteous and friendly. Owner Rafael is an amazing chef as he’s always introducing new dishes and always using freshest seasonal seafood. His sauces he uses are incredible. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Love the atmosphere and service! Very friendly staff and there is a peek-a-boo ocean view! A great local place tucked away in Lunada Bay!

We love Salsa Verdes. The service is always authentic and awesome. The food is excellent. And we love the outdoor courtyard and soothing fountain.

Great environment. Enjoyed the carne asada tacos, chicken fajita and shrimp and garlic. The service was also great.

This place is the bomb! Had a great meal with friends. Good service, good timing of food being brought out, etc.

I had the Enchiladas Suizas; enchiladas filled with potatoes and cheese topped with tomatillo sauce. It was excellent and I am definitely going back again
