Sapporo & Sushi Restaurant

Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.

It was definitely one of the best sushi places we have ever tried before! The sashimi literally melt in the mouth! It was delicious and delicious and delicious! We had to order another dish of sashimi near the end because it really was good! The servers were super nice, kept asking if we needed anything else, and suggested to us what to order on the menu! Loved it! And love how clean the place was! Will go again!

Service was amazing, nice relaxing seating area. Food was all great and everything tasted amazing. One of the better spots I’ve had for sushi and definitely recommend this spot. Good portion sizes for the price, will definitely be coming back again.

These Bento boxes were amazing. Larger than others ones that I've had at other restaurants.

We had a 4th meal, but my picture came out very blurry. But, he enjoyed his sushi very much.
The restaurant was very clean. And service was very pleasant. Had to ask for water refills, but they were very quick to fill them when asked. There was plenty of parking which I appreciate.

We came here for family dinner.
I ordered nigiri sushi and Udon noodle for kid. Food were amazing and not a big different then I had in Japan, I didn’t expected at all.
The service was great,pleasant and efficiently. Price was reasonable,too.
The chef gave us the cucumber sushi roll for free(the most importantly: dry tasty)

We highly recommend to people to come here and enjoy high quality food

I loved this place! We went to my family celebrate my birthday and I expected a delicious dinner, and this was I had: a wonderful and taste food! I recommend this place if you like sushi, rolls and others... and the price was very good too. They were fast and respected the social distance between the tables and people. Also the waitress was very kind and helpful.

This place is so delicious! Food is fresh, high quality ingredients, and spicy tuna roll is stuffed with fish. Also, service is great. My new favorite place.

We waited an hour for our food. The owner gave us a complimentary gyoza. The owners were very humble and smiling, food was superb. And since we patiently waited for our food instead of whining, we found a $20 on the floor + free gyoza. Our great attitude = great night. I highly recommend this place. Its delicious.

Always a pleasant experience when we have dinner here. Can't get enough of the shrimp tempura and chicken katsu! The staff is always friendly and helpful when it comes to the menu.

Consistently good. I drive 30 minutes passing other sushi restaurants to go here! Never disappointed. Love the miso soup!

Excellent customer service! The shorty ribs were tender and well marinated. Calamari roll was on point. My husband and I will definitely be back soon.

We loved this little restaurant! The servers were patient and kind, we took an hour to decide (and catch up after many years). The Rainbow Roll was surprisingly delicious (my first time trying raw). And how lucky we were to have some gorgeous sunshine while eating? The salad dressing a skosh sweet, but everything else was perfect!

This used to be one of my go-to places many years ago, but then I moved away. I came back to WA a few years ago and decided to try it again since I was in the area. We did find out that there was a new owner when e got there. But they still have awesome sushi, and I'd rank them in my top 3 places for sushi. I got a few rolls and so did my wife and we both loved it.

I did also order a unagi bowl, I forget what they called it exactly but it did contain way more than what the menu said so I was a little thrown off (egg and vegetables). I could barely taste the unagi because there was so much mixed into it. I guess in the past I've been used to just unagi and rice and not much more than that from anywhere else I've ordered an unagi bow. The bowl was ok, but not something I'd get again. The sushi is where it's at.

Swung by this place during lunch the other day and I'm so glad I did. The service was top notch, never went 5 minutes without someone swinging by to check in on us or fill our drinks. With how busy it was during lunch, I was thinking we were in for a wait. I was surprised when we were brought our sushi rolls in under 10 minutes.

Our sushi was quite delicious, seriously one of the best we've had in the south sound area. 5/5, will definitely be back with the family.

The cashier lady was nice. I ordered beef don to go, about $12with tax, slightly higher price but the portion is good, and unlike other beef don, this one included lots of veggies. The flavor is nice, beef tender, overall a good experience!

Original post: I love their sushi so much. My favorite place to go for a special occasion or just the lunch special. Always fresh and good service. Atmosphere is fun as well.

This place seems to have switched owners a few times recently, but I have always enjoyed their food and sushi. Would definitely recommend for sushi and their bento boxes. You get A TON of food for a decent amount of $$ if you go with their bento box. Gotta love some good miso soup as well :) almost overly friendly service, but good hearted!

I love Sapporo’s , we’ve come here for years, they do a great job and it’s clean and efficient. Sushi is great
