I've been a customer at Metro Honda for almost 30 years--GASP! The service has always been very good, except for a few years (during the recession and especially the height of COVID). I have a 2010 Accord EX-L V6 sedan with low mileage. Metro Honda takes great care of it for me. Lately, Jeffrey Gutierrez has been my service advisor. I highly recommend him. He is personable, polite, clearly explains everything and is honest.

I have not been in the market to buy a car since 2015. This time going into Metro Honda, it was a great experience. The sales person is really cool and kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The manager also, gave us a great deal and made the experience a lot better. I would like to recommend this place to come and buy your next car.

My experience was really good. Jeffrey was great!! The only thing was that I had to bring my vehicle back in (the same day). My brake fluid was changed along with an oil change. Well the cover underneath my vehicle was not put back on properly. It’s dragging on the road as I’m driving! But thank God it wasn’t damaged. It was fixed so everything turned out fine.

Helpful, listened and understood my concerns for my Ridgeline service.

Went above and beyond the normal services indicated while my service contract was still in effect.

They are currently helping me with a problem with a defective armrest that they have reached out to Honda corporate to resolve.

Made me feel confident that my interests are being met.

We recently purchased a Honda Pilot at Metro Honda. Luis Guerrero was our sales person he was very knowledgeable and nice. He answered all of our questions and made sure we understood what he was telling us . This is my second vehicle I purchase here at Metro Honda and will keep buying from here. Very professional staff. Jimmy at the service department of Metro Honda is truly a gentleman who stands up for American virtue and spirit. The front camera of our 2020 Odyssey failed shortly after the expiration of the 35k miles warranty provided by Honda, which triggered tones of flashing warning signals including the brake system warning light on the dashboard. My wife was driving on the high way when this happened. Assuming that the brake was no longer working, she became very nervous and almost got involved in a car accident. When I brought the car to Metro Honda, Jimmy told me it's definitely not our fault to mess up with the camera and asked us to contact Honda service department for the camera replacement and calibration. The negotiation between us and Honda service department went on and forth for more than half a year without any acceptable agreement. The lady at the Honda service department who was handling our case was very rude and arrogant. She talked to me in such a cold voice as if I did something wrong and I should beg for her mercy! This is ridiculous and insane. I called the Honda service department many times and even asked them to give our case to a different staff. They agreed to reopen the case and assign the case to a different staff. But unfortunately, one day later the same lady called me and told me their decision was the same and I can feel free to sue them !!!! Jimmy stepped in after he knew what happened and eventually helped us resolve the issue.
If you have to buy a Honda car, I strongly recommend Metro Honda just because they have employees like Jimmy, whom they should be proud of.

I went in thinking I was going to be given a hard time, however, I had an amazing experience purchasing a car for myself at this Honda dealer. A number of people helped me choose the car I got to drive home with, and I wanted to express my gratitude for their professionalism and willingness to help. John helped guide me to a car that not only met my needs, but was in my budget as well. Jimmy, from the finance department, went above and beyond and was able to secure me an amazing deal. Arman and Armando, also contributed their services, which just made the process a whole lot smoother. I am very glad I was not only able to receive an excellent deal but provided excellent service all throughout the way.

Jim at Metro Honda service department is the best advisor. I brought my car for service on 2/14/24. Jim greeting was very genuine, and pleasant. I have to admit, the service that was provided for my concern was top notch. I went in about my car overheating and was told that because my car was under warranty I’d be able to contact Honda care and they be able to help with towing the vehicle. Sure enough, I was able to have my vehicle towed to the dealership and the young man that helped me was super interested in helping and went above and beyond with providing me a loaner vehicle. The car was fully inspected and everything was handled professionally. Thank you Honda team for the great service!

I would like to share my experience I had with Metro Honda in Montclair/ Service Department

First and foremost, I was completely impressed with the professionalism and excellent customer service I received from Israel G. when I arrived at Metro Honda Montclair for an issue, I was having with my 2018 Honda Accord.

I am not very familiar with repairs and cars, so I was very skeptical and untrusting. Israel was the first person I approached, and he immediately advised me that his team can look at my car first thing the following morning, not to worry. Israel provided me with the contact information to call the next morning. The next morning, I called, Israel took ownership immediately and advised the service team that I was on my way.

Once again, I was impressed. The whole team was very knowledgeable and amazing! I felt that I can trust their advice and what was needed to repair my car. I was assured that they can order the part however it was on back order. Remarkably I received a call that my part came in early, within 3 days. My car went into service and was repaired by the end of the day. The whole Service Team was exceptional as they went above and beyond my expectations.

Came here on a scheduled appointment on Tuesday morning and w as taken care of by Jeffrey! He provided amazing service and made sure all my questions were asked. He pulled up the warranty on my 2019 Civic because I was having some A/C issues. All my problems were fixed and he updated me quickly and promptly so I can go on with my day. Thanks again Jeffrey!

I am so very thankful to John at Honda. I was originally going to get a min truck from Ford but seen this price on a civic and decided to check it out. One thing I can say is that I was having a bad day and didn’t think of it much that I will get a car but John and his staff helped me so much getting the me a civic. From previously going to different locations for service, I tend to find myself going back to this dealership when a problem cannot be identified from my vehicle. Metro Honda's staff knows how to take care of their consumer base and will not be indirect with any issues. I had taken my 2017 Honda Civic to get service as my car was having problems accelerating when stopping at a stop sign or light. Honda member Jeffrey was able to assist me on giving me an idea on what was wrong and surprised me with his background from having experience in the service department. I will likely be returning here in the future for other services. Jeffrey is a helpful and understanding member as he goes above and beyond to satisfy his consumers - service at this location never disappoints.
