I had the best experience here at Jax. My stylist of 20 years retired. I had another in her group cut my hair a couple times and she didn’t want suggestions or guidance. I made an appointment ant Jax and the person on the phone asked me pertinent questions so she could pair me with the best stylist for me. She did a great job. She made an appointment for me with Julia. I just loved her. She really listened to me and I got seriously the best cut I’ve ever had. And to top it off, the power went off for quite awhile so she cut my hair in partial darkness. Thanks Julia!

This was my very first time getting my hair cut at a salon and let me tell you it was AMAZING! Teressa did a fantastic job, she listened to everything I wanted before she even picked up a tool and we conversed about everything under the sun, a very friendly and amazing person and stylist! She executed my style with precision and it was absolutely perfect. She even recommended me a hair care routine with their Aveda products fit for my hair type and taught me how to keep my hair healthy. I was sad to leave it was such an amazing experience. This was a beautiful little hidden gem after looking from salon to salon which were all booked out for weeks and I got an appointment with these guys NEXT DAY. Thank you Jax salon for being AMAZING!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jax Salon for an esthetician appointment and was fortunate enough to be attended by Albina. Let me start by saying that I have had previous experiences with phenomenal estheticians, both with extensive years of experience. However, Albina's work and procedures surpassed all my expectations, making her the best in the industry!

Not only that, but her environment is exceptionally clean and hygienic, leaving me feeling completely at ease and safe throughout my visit.

Emma was amazing!!! First time brow tinter and I LOVED it. Emma made me feel so at ease and did an outstanding job mapping my brows and matching the tint to my new hair. Thank you Emma! I can’t recommend enough!

I'm a salon hopper and I finally found a place I will stick with. I loved Hannah, she listened to what I wanted and spent her time making it perfect for me. They have Aveda products which is why initially got me to make an appointment. Definitely going back :-)

My hair looks AMAZING!! Austin created a beautiful, sophisticated look for me using grey, blue and purple. I am in LOVE with it. I have never had so many compliments on my hair! The whole staff is amazing, I’ll definitely be coming back. Couldn’t recommend this salon enough.

McKenna is a mature professional young stylist. She does a great job. I am always happy with the care she has given my scalp and hair. I don't want to say too much good. Otherwise she will be more in demand and less availability for an appointment. It's already becoming more challenging to schedule.

My first time visiting this salon, I am very pleased with kindness and excellent customer service provided here. Finding a new hair stylist has not been easy until I came here. Nice location. Very clean. Thank you McKenna for the hair cut. It was exactly what I wanted. I will be returning and maybe bring friends and family as they do provide manicures and pedicures! Full service salon here!!

McKennna gave me a super cute haircut. I brought a picture and she really listened to me about length, bangs and maintenance expectations before she picked up a scissors. Great experience, again!

This salon and spa is amazing. I have been a client since August 2015, and I go in pretty much weekly now. I can't praise Jax enough. I have never felt so comfortable in another salon or spa.

Even just the atmosphere in the building is relaxing and peaceful - I can be having a horrible day, be in a wretched mood, or be completely stressed out, and I can feel myself calm down from the minute I walk through that door. By the time I leave, I have a totally different perspective on the day.

The staff -every one- are friendly, warm, and helpful. I have never once felt judged or self conscious in Jax, and I have more than a few self esteem issues - these amazing people have been nothing but nurturing and supportive. From the reception counter to the owner, himself, I have felt welcomed, valued, cared about, and even embraced. That's so rare for an establishment of this caliber.

The services and products offered are fantastic. Emily cuts, styles, and colors my hair, and my very curly hair has gone from being dry, frizzy, and extremely hard to manage, let alone look good, to hydrated, healthy looking, and ridiculously easy to manage and style since the first time she cut and colored my hair. Jessica has been doing my facials and helped me figure out a skin care routine for my problematic skin - my rosacea is now completely gone, my dry, scaly skin is soft and moisturized, and my skin tone has evened out. Her facials are life-altering. Mechala has been giving me Elemental Nature Massages just about weekly, and she is magical - she really knows her craft and is so in tune with her clients needs, applying the perfect amount of pressure and even distraction for when she's working on those pesky knots. Her work on my back has been extremely therapeutic. Feloria threads my eyebrows, and does a wonderful job - I've never had anyone put that much care into my eyebrows, and it really shows. I just had my first pedicure with Mackenzie yesterday, and it was hands down the best pedicure I've ever had - again, I've never had someone so details-oriented work on my feet. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to receive services from anyone at Jax. Every person there is extremely talented, well trained and educated in their work, and most importantly, care about their clients' happiness and well being.

Every product I've bought at Jax - Aveda - I have absolutely loved. It has changed my life for the better. Every scent is amazing, and as someone who has a lot of trouble with perfumes, that I've never had a problem with any of their scents ought to say something. Not to mention, Aveda products are environmentally friendly and responsible, their ingredients organic.

Trust me. Go and pamper yourself. You won't regret it. It's worth every cent plus some.

Jack and all of his staff are professional, courteous and top-of-the-line very well trained stylist. Also Aveda products are the natural and plant-based. There are many salons in Gig Harbor but this is the best one to go to if you want it done right.

I got pulled out of line at Seatac because my underwire bra set off the metal detector. The TSA lady padded me in the front, scanned my back, then came back around and said " Nice Haircut! I used to be a stylist and know a good haircut when I see one." Thank you Stephanie! I love my bob ...and it's easy to keep it looking perfect.

i always feel pampered and appreciated when i visit Jax. the staff is wonderfully adept, and everyone is so friendly. i have already told my husband, if we ever move away, i am coming back to Jax for my salon and spa needs.

I've been here a few times and had good experiences except for my most recent time, the owner reached out to me and he fixed the issue I had. Great salon, they really care about their customers, and I would recommend them.
