I have been with this agency, Decaro first all except for 2 months of my 30 years of driving.
Why ? because they are the best!
Mercury is the best!
Cynthia has been with the agency since Dan Decaro and she is amazing. Ever Since Dan retired I now have more great ladies to work with! I love them all so much I even added a renters policy.
They know their stuff! I can't keep up with all the changes and when I call or email I always get a response right away!!!!!!
Those two months though with sun-coast back in 2001 were a living nightmare! When the recommended shop has your only vehicle and they are not fixing it in a timely manner. I had gotten cheap & found out they were no longer able to even sell in Ca anymore per the insurance commissioner they were so bad.
Fast forward to August 2021
My husband got into an accident what a difference!
He hit a lady that made a right turn on red and completed that right turn in the far left lane where he was coming through a green.
Noone was hurt thank goodness but
it totaled our 09 Mustang Ca special 😢.
We called mercury and got a rental right away, they covered it completely and we were both able to go to work and live our lives uninterrupted!
We had also just replaced the power steering pump and A/c compressor the week before. We were telling this to the adjuster thinking well we just lost that money 🤷‍♀ . He said do you have the receipts? So with the receipts and the repair shop verifying this we no problem getting our money back!
The had Liberty Mutual they suck! They did nothing! They did not even contact us for two weeks?! After all was said they did not even fully cover the accident that was proven to be her fault! SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE MERCURY!

Wonderful company they have the best customer service and a really good rate on any auto, home or other insurance policy Check them out!

The account is under my wife Blanca. We've been a customer of Pablo since 2011. I never had any problems with Pablo or his staff on the past. On May 5, 2022 I called Pablo's office because we received an Insurance bill from them stating that if we did not pay for it before the May 18, 2022 they were going to terminate the house Insurance contract. I called the office right away and Linda answered the phone I asked to speak to a supervisor because Linda couldn't give me the information I needed. Erika the supervisor answered the called. She was rude and very disrespectful and when I asked if I could speak to Pablo she told me that he was away from the office. Later on Pablo called and the voice that called didn't sound like the person I had spoken with on the past. He left me a message and he stated "that if I didn't like the service I was getting to just don't pay the bill and my House Insurance account was going to be terminated" but before he ended the phone call he said to call the office as soon as possible because he was leaving soon. It made me thing because supposedly he was not in the office. The following day I called my mortgage company they said that they made a mistake. They told me why the office didn't send them a reminder letter or a phone call would have been okay to solve the problem. I called Pablo again because I believe that we are not receiving the discount we deserve but they just said "yes" and refuse to talk to me. I'm very dissatisfied with how they are handling my account. I just want to speak with somebody who can help me.
