Excellent service! Everyone was friendly & quick! Ashleigh helped me set up a checking account & was very helpful. All that entered were greeted. I am happy to do my banking with a business that I can not only trust with my money, but provides exceptional service!

Great service. I went in to get a new debit card (it got stolen) and also to add my wife to my account. I walked in around 2:45 (they close at 3) and were eager to help me. I greatly appreciated their service even though it went past closing time!

You're our HEROES! We needed rolls or quarters to do laundry: change machine at laundry facility had none; commissary no longer provides that benefit; Harbour FCU, right next door, wouldn't give me rolls of quarters because we weren't clients. But Armed Forces Bank did, without an account. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Great customer service but needs to open on a Saturday for the soldiers and civilians that work on the base!

This bank schedule hours is sucks! From 0900 to 1500 Monday to Friday. I worked from 730 to 400. Everytime I needed to go to inside this bank for personal transactions I have to take 1 hour leave from my job. This is ridiculous! Not convenient for the customers. I needed to change my banks!!

I really used to like this bank. Especially when they had sub branched in the Base Exchange. They were open when the BX was. Then they were pulled out. But to make up for it they had limited hours on Saturday. Then that went away.
I am guessing that is because they went to online banking and now digital banking. Like someone me tinned before when something happens on a weekend, there are no contacts. You call their number and you get a recording closed on weekends. I had a problem with my debit card and had to wait till Monday to get it corrected. 2 days seemed like an eternity.
True, the staff are polite and pleasant to work with. But only when they are open.
I went there to deposit a check on 2nd of August only to see the bank was closed that day. The sign did to go to the Ft Lewis branch. I typed the address into my GPS and it gave me McChord not Ft Lewis. Since I don't go to Ft Lewis that much I wasn't about to drive over then drive around looking for their branch there. It would have been a lot easier if they still had branches in the BX.

This bank is terrible. I signed up for an account online. Deposited the $ needed to start up. Soon after I realized this was not the correct bank. I immediately sent an email explaining what had happened. I would have kept the account except I had no access as they are on the military base. I could not get in touch with a human as I work the same hours . I tried several times . I wrote a total of 3 le ngthy emails with no response. Finally, today I was at to speak to a person. At this point they have drained the account due to their fees * (which I was trying to avoid). The account was -$9. I explained my issue and the rep was kind enough to refund that $9 to bring the acct to a $0 and close it as requested . That being said, after all the hassle of emails and calls from day 1, I cannot believe they wouldn't refund my initial deposit as well. They could see I had not used this account once! Yeah my mistake opening at the wrong bank butthis definitely shoes the integrity of AFB! I hope our service men and women are treated better than I was! You'd be a fool to bank here!!

Be careful with this bank. Do not sign up for savings and cents it's a way for them to take your money. This is how it works: they say they round yo to the nearest dollar and transfer the cents to your savings account. They also transfer $100 when it will send your account into negative. So if you're like me and keep e writhing in savings they will transfer $100 to bring your account negative, do it on a Friday so when you wake up saturday and notice it you can't transfer the money back until mondayn and then charge you $25 overdraft. Screw the troops I guess.

Aweful bank, has gotten progressively worse over the last 20 years. Limited hours keep getting more limited every year, closing branches, terrible customer service (especially their telebank services). It's like they just gave up.... This is why I am changing banks after 20+ years

There bill pay system is broke it don't pay any bills...they just take your money
