Brimstone PNW Smokehouse

It was really good brisket/smoked meat! We are from the south and didn’t expect much but we’re pleasantly surprised. Wish they had smoked turkey!! Good portion sizes and great service! Place wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night. Wish they had some kid options though! We got the mac n cheese for our kids to share though.

The food was delicious! The service was great. The portions of meat were pretty scant, but we were able to try almost all of the meats by purchasing two medium plates and sharing them between 3 of us (husband, son and myself). The sides were decent but I thought some needed more flavor/seasoning. The beer I tried was tasty and the have draft root beer! Lastly, the donut was ok. I had higher expectations from prior online review photos but it was definitely edible. I would recommend giving it a try to see for yourself! Overall, I'd likely eat here again.

Almost made a southern boy cry. Literally some of the best BBQ since I moved West. Melt in your mouth pork shoulder, brisket and ribs. Tell granpappy he can leave his teeth out. Couple that with great sides like the cooked greens with red onions, potato salad and slow-cooked blackeyed peas. Paired all this with a Kentucky mule with a spicy ginger kick. Perfection.

Fab food and drinks. Friendly service with a lot of Gig Harbor flair. The Galveston tea cocktail is delicious though - watch it - they are strong and don't taste like it! Sit in the bar if there's space.
I'd recommend the meat plates - best selection of the menu. Don't miss the specials as well.
Plus there is an ice cream parlor in the back. What's not to love?

Food was amazing. Ribs, pork and spicy sausage with pickle pile, greens and potato salad were amazing. Frito pie as a starter was very good. Their twist on traditional flavors is always inventive and super tasty!

Delicious value and amount of meat and side options. I thought the menu was perfectly sized and not overloaded. Delicious cornbread and brisket. The list goes on. We tried all splattering of options. Sauces were great as well - especially enjoyed the “Sassy”. Accommodated 5 adult, 1 kid family just fine.

Visiting Gig Harbor from Austin TX...stopped in for some ice cream at the place in the back. The vibe and atmosphere was so genuine, comfortable and had a sense of home. I didn't want to leave...I love this little place. We'll be back one day for a meal.

Ok so we went back the next day tried a lot of more items on menu… your gonna die OH my Lanta! It was soooo good!!! The coleslaw tangy not too much mayo. The taco the bomb. You gotta get the corn on the Cobb is a must if you have a brain in your head! Can’t be lady like ya gotta eat like you mean it!

In Gig Harbor visiting from Austin TX. Stopped by for the ice cream shop in the back and didn't want to ever leave. The place just felt like home, the whole vibe was so good for my soul.

Two words. Pork Nachos. I mean... wow. My husband and I will share this if we are just wanting a lunch or snack. But their tacos are out of this world! Oh and the street corn! All right, we pretty much love all of it.

This is worth the toll bridge fee on the way back on EASTBOUND WSR-16 and the drive from anywhere on the Peninsula or even off the Peninsula... Lot's of places have dry BBQ with a lack of luster in the smoke flavor... Not this Brimstone... There meats have the right amount of crunchy in the crust and juicy in the heart of it... If you like chicken cooked to perfection like myself... You can cook chicken like myself that is a less than desirable finished product like myself... You'll have a very high appreciation for the smoked to perfection juicy chicken you'll receive here...

Pretty good BBQ for this area, brisket was awesome, chicken was great, ribs were a little dry but the flavor was there!
Cocktails were great too! Old Fashioned with a slab of thick bacon is a great drink

Food was fantastic, I got the brisket taco with mac and cheese and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken tacos, we both got the galveston ice tea which was delicious. Overall excellent experience. We will definitely be returning soon!

Cozy atmosphere, Brisket was moist and smokey. Slaw was nice and vinegary, beans had an interesting unique flavor. Still not sure what I think of them. amazing BBQ sauces. Sassy was just spicy enough, Sissy was just what my wife liked, and red eye hot sauce was quite spicy, and gold sauce was a nice mustard. Spicy NW Greens were really good. A bit too spicy for my wife. We will need to come back for their Ice cream...

We went to Brimstone for drinks and bites. The nachos are incredible! My Galveston Tea was so good - kudos to the bartender. Splurged on dessert too - a donut with vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend!

Very nice people and wait staff, yummy food with huge portions. They got us heated outdoor seating for us as we were with a puppy. Our waitress and service from all the staff was great.

Sailed to gig harbor with friends. Quenched our thirst with some craft beers here after a short walk. Watched Seahawks choke in the 4th on the big screens as usual. Lol. Recommended.

We love the entrees and smaller plates. The ice cream is a wonderful finish!!!

Great find. Tasty BBQ with a smaller, but quaint bar. Service was great.

On the way out of town, nothing appealing in Gig Harbor other than the views, saw the ice cream parlor sign on front of the restaurant. Our cat had been in the car and needed to cool off with us. The owner (?) allowed us to bring the carrier to the back patio, and we sat in the air-conditioning having possibly the best ice cream ever.
