First off, let me say that I'm real picky about BBQ places. There's a lot that goes right here, though.
Saw them and I stopped in on a whim for some lunch. Immediately the smell hits you when you walk in the door - that solid smoked meat smell. They've got a good selection on the menu and it is priced right for BBQ.
I got a Double Dawg Deal with a Spicy Chop and a Brisket and cheese. The B&C was very cheesy. The spicy chop had great flavor.
Drinks were fabulous here too. I'd never even heard of Cranberry Pineapple as a juice combination, but it hit the spot. All the sauces were pretty good as well. I prefer spicy sauces and found the Zesty to hit the mark.
And complimentary soft serve Cones. Yes. Free ice cream. Full stop.
I'm not down in this area often, but when I'm around Lakewood, I'd definitely hit this place again.

So I’ve driven pass this place for the pass two years and finally decided to stop by today, man I was so mad at myself. Why you ask? Because the moment I tasted the bbq beans I knew I f$&ked up for not trying this place sooner lol

We walked in and was immediately given great service. From the greeting to explaining the menu thoroughly. We spend $30.99 each for 2 meats, 2 sides any fountain drink or specialty drink including ice cream. I promise you it was money well spent for amazing BBQ dinner.

I stopped by BBQ Pete's today and I have to say that the food was fantastic. I tried both the “Sandwich with no name” and the chopped Brisket sandwich and they were both outstanding. The meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious BBQ in the area.

The staff is so sweet and nice, the food is hot and freshly made. It's clean and just overall a good vibe 😌 ✨ 👌🏿

Always an amazing meal. Each time, I tell myself that I am going to try something different but the sliced brisket sandwich is just so amazing. The house ranch salad dressing is 100% yum. Also, one of the best loaded potato salads anywhere around.

I was staying in Lakewood overnight at the Best Western and was heading to Safeway for some food when I saw this place across the parking lot so decided to stop. I ordered the ribs and chicken meal with bbq beans, baked potato salad, and corn bread. Everything is really good. I will go back if in the area again.

My husband and I just decided to try them after swiping on doordash for months. Let me tell you... YOU WILL NOT BE LEFT IN DISAPPOINTMENT! The ribs were moist with next to no fat. Absolutely delicious! The chicken and pulled pork are to die for and don't even get me started on the beans! I'm a big bean fan and I've never had this kind of baked BBQ beans and it was so unique and delicious! My husband is a huge cornbread fan and said it was one of the best he's ever had! I had to put a couple ribs aside for later to enjoy! Oh and we got a complimentary cup of vanilla ice cream. We will be returning customers 100%! If I could give more then 5 stars I would! My only regret was not trying it sooner!

So far this is the best BBQ place I've found in the area. The ribs were nicely smoked and falling off of the bone. The burnt ends were also nicely smoked, you could see the smoke ring, moist and tender. The beans were good and I really liked chipolte slaw. It had a little kick but not too much. Will definitely be going back.

Love the food here. The brisket sandwich wad good but i really do like the corn bread too.

My new BBQ place. Went there for the first time last week and just loved the food. Got the beef ribs today. Awsome!!Love that ladies are running the show. Highly recommend this place! Go Blue!!! 🤣

Excellent experience and food. Being from the BBQ capital of the Midwest, I have high standards for smoked meats. This place did not disappoint.

Great BBQ with sauces for the meek to the fire-eater. My wife's salad was the HALF salad. The pic gives you a sense of the HUGE size of her HALF salad, The Double Dawg Deal is great: 2 of the same OR try 2 different dogs. The meat falls off the bone on the rack of ribs. All you can drink soda for the kids. Ànd finally, BEER for the grown up kidz!! This place has converted from Famous Dave's Fans to BBQ Pete's Pals!! 5⭐'s !!

First time here and wasn't disappointed! We shared the brisket salad w/ 2 cornbread muffins! Was plenty! Also free ice cream cones!

The food here is delicious! We got a full rack of ribs and two orders of fries. All three of us are full and very happy. The staff were all very nice, and at 6 on a Wednesday, it was pretty quiet. Oh, and you get a free self serve ice cream cone on your way out!

The bathrooms are single person. The tables are picnic style, so if it's busy/full you'll possibly be rubbing elbows with a stranger. They have several sauce choices and the ribs come out full of flavor as is.

We will definitely be back!

Great bbq. Got the brisket sandwich which was a little dry, but fixed that problem with some good pickles added on. The flavor was solid. Hand a nice shiner Bock beer that went well and felt right drinking a Texan beer with bbq. And to finish it off with some complimentary ice cream! Great spot for kids and families!

We love BBQ food and are very picky...we like to think that we are BBQ connoisseurs. We are from out of town and this place nailed it! They are truly a hidden gem. We were shocked that we were the only people in the restaurant at 6pm. Everyone is missing out! My husband and I split the three meat platter (ribs, chicken, pulled pork) with a spicy sausage link, mac 'n cheese, and a large corn muffin. Our 17 year old son ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Mac n' cheese. They have 4 different BBQ sauces to choose from; all were delicious! The meat on the ribs slid right off and my husband said they were the best ribs he has ever had. Everything was amazing! They also have complimentary ice cream cones, which my son took them up on and and had 3! Highly recommended Pete's BBQ!

This place is awesome! We stopped in for a snack between errands, since we’d passed by a few times and thought it looked nice inside. The staff were really friendly and gave us some recommendations, as well as a sample while we tried deciding on our sides. There are multiple BBQ sauces out to self dispense, a hand washing station, a complementary ice cream station, trivia cards on the table while you wait, and spacious seating. The ambience was really cozy and there were really thoughtful holiday decorations out. The music was great too. Our food was delicious, and we were really happy to dine in and enjoy the atmosphere! Will be retuning with our family.

First time here, stopped by because I wanted to check out the recently opened Daiso and my family was hungry. Barbecue sauce was delicious, I got the fair sauce and it has an amazing smoky flavor. The fry sauce was also delicious, and I love the thick cut fries. My ribs were falling off the bone, the cornbread muffin and whipped honey butter were to die for. We all loved everything we got, the chipotle coleslaw, the beans, the Mac, the spicy chop. We all shared food and were so happy with what we tried. The complimentary ice cream was such a plus, and the hand washing station. We will definitely be coming back!

Unbelievably great BBQ and sides. Sit down seating is very casual but clean. I have been several times, fantastic food and friendly service every time. Free soft serve ice cream for dessert!!

Great experience and such good food. I recommend the pulled pork with coleslaw and bbq beans.
